They finished cleaning the lake and were looking proudly at their work.
"With this the village will return to normal and they won't need to starve anymore" Katara said.
"Come on we are only waiting for you" Akira said from Appas back.
They then took the direct route to the heart of the fire nation along the many volcanic islands the fire nation had.
"Wake me up when we arrive, I'm going to take a nap" Akira said and lied down on Ty Lee's lap who was blushing furiously.
She lovingly stroked his hair and he fell asleep very quickly.
"Isn't he cute when he sleeps?" Ty Lee asked.
"I've been wondering for a while now, how did you two even meet and even became a couple?" Katara asked curiously.
"Oh we have known each other for a while. He is Azula's cousin and I would occasionally come over and play with him in our childhood but that was all over when fire lord Ozai claimed the throne and declared him a traitor. I only met him again when Azula began chasing you...and then he imprisioned us when we were infiltrating Ba Sing Se with the Dai Li. He let us free and kept Azula in prision...and then it kind of just happened you know? He liked me, I liked him and we bacame a couple" Ty Lee said cheerfully.
"You two are a good match" Aang said and secretly glanced at Katara.
Ty Lee just grinned and played with Akira's now black dyed hairs.
"How about we camp here? It's a good spot to watch the stars" Sokka suggested and everyone prepared the camp waiking up Akira.
"We are there, come on wake up cutie" Ty Lee said and shook him gently.
"I slept really well" he said still half asleep "I dreamt how I would marry you in the future and our children"
This caused Ty Lee to blush but she was even more suprised when Akira leaned in and kissed her.
"How about it? After this war is over, will you marry me?" he asked her and she leaned in again and kissed him.
"Yes! Of course I will!" she said and kissed him again.
They then leaned down and looked at the stars where countless shooting stars danced across the sky.
"Seeing all this makes one realize how insignificant you are" Sokka said poetically.
"Well I'm blind so whatever" Toph just shrugged.
"Woah, I've never seen something like this in my life" Sokka said as a meteorite came nearer and impacted into the ground a few hundred metres away fom them.
Curiously they went to see what has fallen from the sky.
"The fire can expand and reach that village over there" Katara said in panic.
"I'll handle this" Akira said and stretched out his hands breathing deeply before he lowered them down.
The fire slowly died down and finally fizzeled out.
"It is really handy to have a firebender in our team sometimes" Sokka said.
"Alright, let's sleep a bit now and visit that village tomorrow, I'm dead tired from all this excitement" Sokka said and everyone agreed and lied down.
Akira lied down and Ty Lee came to him and snuggled up to him.
He could definetly get used to this...
The next morning they woke up and visited the city to eat something and Sokka began with his depressive selfdoubting.
They then went shopping with him to distract him.
Akira looked at the chainwips in interest.
Sure he couldn't control this weapon the slightest and it was a very difficult weapon to handle but if he became a metalbender someday...
That was when Sokka spotted the sword from Piandao and Aang suggested that he ask to learn swordsmanship from him.
Soon later Sokka went to Piandao and stayed there for a while leaving the rest of the gaang bored to death.
Akira went back to his earthbending training. He was determined to master metalbending before the invasion.
Along his own training he also vontinued to teach Aang firebending so that he would be ready to face Ozai...even if he fails he would just take care of it, after all there is no way that his uncle is a better firebender than him.
But now he finally got it. With a movement of his hand he bent one of his throwing knives.
"Fucking finally!" he said and changed it back.
To further train his new ability he also changed the form of the metal and formed it like it was liquid.
Even through it was metal if felt like he was bending extremly heavy water.
After this he bagan to teach Aang who made incredible progress these past days. Avatars really had a scary talent, he basically learned basic firebending in two days...fucking unfair.
Well whatever, he is an immortal spirit now, he has all the time in the world to master the elements.
After a while Sokka came back with the idea to make a sword out of the meteorite.
They helped him transport the meteorite to Piandaos mansion on top of a hill and introduced themselves to him as Sokkas friends.
They looked as Sokka finally worked seriously for something to get better and Akira just lazed around, exhausted from his training.
After growing bored he went on a date with Ty Lee in the city to continue what they couldn't finish because Sokka interrupted them.
Ty Lee dragged him into a tavern where Akira bought the best suite they had and slammed her into the sheets.
Needlessly to say that Akira had the best day of his life, Ty Lee had curves in all the right places and her flexibility was also something he made use of to the fuellest, trying out many poses that would have been impossible with any other girl.
"...That was awesome" Akira said panting after many rounds, he stopped counting.
"Yeah, let's take a bath and go back to the others" Ty Lee said panting and climbed out of the bed stark naked and offered Akira a beautiful view of her behind.
"I paid anyways, how about we just sleep here? The others will stay here for a while anyways because of Sokka" Akira said and he heard water begin to splash into the bath.
"I wouldn't mind but I really can't go for more rounds, I can barely walk" Ty Lee said "let's just sleep yeah?"
Akira nodded and went after her into the bath, heating up the water with his firebending.
Ty Lee sank into the water and let out a statisfied moan.
"Oh yes, I missed those hot volcanic baths we have at home" she said "all that cold water is bad for my skin"

After the night in the tavern they went back to the others.
"Where were you?" Sokka asked.
"Yes, we were worried" Katara said.
"Don't worry, we were just on a date and slept in a tavern, I missed those warm fluffy beds" Akira said.
"You...slept together in a tavern?" Katara asked.
"Yes, we always sleep together, what's the issue?" Akira asked pretending to be innocent.
"...Nothing" Katara just said and went back to whatever she was doing before.
"Sokka has finished his apprenticeship and is now a real swordsmaster!" Aangsaid and Sokka raised his head proudly.
"Yeah, look at my new sword, I will call it fire exgunisher...get it because we are fighting the fire nation" Sokka said with that typical idiotic grin on his face.
Akira just sighed and shook his head with a small smile.
Say what you want about Sokka but he is very funny in his own way.
Mabye that is why he got so many girls in the past timeline.
