Chapter 2 - chapter 2: "The Storm Breaker"

Scene 1 — School Main Gate | Inside Building

Dhruv ran toward the main gate.

His entire body was drenched in sweat, his hands trembling, but somehow he managed to latch the heavy lock onto the gate.

Something massive crashed against the gate from the outside —

each thud carried the echo of death and terror.

For a few fragile moments, it was safe inside.

Gasping for breath, Dhruv sprinted toward the classrooms.

Dhruv (thinking):

"I have to gather everyone... This isn't the time to fall apart..."

Scene 2 — Rooftop | Smoke and Blood

they looked down… they witnessed the end of the world.

The entire city —

drowned in smoke and blood.

The distant echoes of screams floated in the air...

but not a single living soul was visible below.

And then — they saw something unnatural.

Far off, the monsters...

began collapsing one after another, as if struck down by invisible lightning.

One by one —

they simply dropped like puppets with their strings cut.

Om (whispering, trembling):

"W-What... what is happening down there?"

Scene 3 — Rooftop Meeting

Dhruv burst onto the rooftop, panting hard, his face flushed with fear and anger.

Dhruv (shouting):

"Om! Kashyap! Shiv! What are you doing here?! I told you not to! It's dangerous out here!"

Sive (frustrated, with tears in his eyes):

"We had to see... What if my mom's trapped somewhere down there...?!"

She was saying that she was coming to my school,

(Om wiped his eyes, tears brimming over.)

Suddenly, Om froze.

His eyes narrowed, sensing something unnatural.

Om (soft, scared):

"Why is it so dark...?

And something... something is running in that darkness... very fast."

Dhruv stood frozen for a second.

Every nerve in his body snapped to full alert.

Scene 4 — The Arrival | Lightning Strike

Suddenly —

a bolt of lightning struck near the rooftop.

The ground shook violently.

Dust and wind exploded outward in a deafening vibration.

When the smoke cleared...

A man stood before them.

Black tactical gear.

Half-mask.

a sword in his hand .

His entire body shimmered with a supernatural current.

He stood perfectly still —

but his very presence warped the air around him.

Sive (gasping, whispering):

"C-could he be... another monster...?"

The man removed his mask.

His voice was cold... and absolute.

Zeke:

"My name is Zeke.

I'm not your end...

I'm your salvation."

Zeke's gaze swept over the children.

Zeke:

"I've seen it...

Everything outside this school has been wiped out.

Why you're still alive — even I don't know."

Sive (breaking down):

"My mom..."

Zeke (bluntly, without emotion):

"She's gone."

Dhruv (furious):

"Who are you?! How can you kill these monsters so easily?!"

Zeke:

"I belong to a special organization.

An organization created solely for this moment."

Dhruv:

"Then what about the government?! The army?! What are they doing?!"

Zeke:

"They didn't even get the chance to respond.

The officials were the first to die.

Communications collapsed.

No backup is coming."

Om:

"You said 'for this moment'... What does that mean?"

Zeke:

"Thousands of years ago, there was a goddess who ruled the earth.

Only one clan — the Jeagar — resisted her reign.

When the goddess was finally defeated, she left a prophecy:

'When my powers are awakened again,

I shall rise once more.'

We believe...

someone has awakened her."

(Zeke thinks silently: "The organization... they're hiding something from me too.")

A Sudden Scream

Dhruv:

"What do we do now?! We have to get out of here!"

Zeke:

"I'll carve a path for you."

Just then —

a shrill, bone-chilling scream echoed from below.

Without a word, Dhruv and Zeke raced downstairs.

Om, Kashyap, and Sive moved to follow,

but Zeke barked sharply:

Zeke:

"No. Stay here.

Down there... only death awaits."

The Massacre

Dhruv reached the ground floor —

and froze in horror.

Blood was everywhere.

Bodies of students lay torn apart.

Entrails scattered like discarded rope.

The ground was painted in thick, dark red.

It was a slaughterhouse.

Zeke (grimly):

"This... isn't the work of a monster.

This is the work of a demon.

Monsters kill...

Demons... they play."

Suddenly —

a low, bone-chilling laugh echoed through the hall.

Zeke's muscles tightened instantly.

He looked up just in time to see—

A demon — flashing toward them like a bullet from the shadows.

Rooftop | Blood Mist and Thunder

The demon cloaked the rooftop in a thick, red mist.

The stench of blood and death saturated the air.

Even the wind seemed to hesitate.

Dhruv's throat went dry.

Om, Kashyap, and Sive huddled together at the rooftop's edge, terror filling their eyes.

Zeke...

stood calmly, sword in hand.

His eyes were not afraid —

they were the eyes of a soldier who had already accepted this battle.

Demon (screeching):

"After I kill you...

I'll devour those children too!"

One heartbeat passed.

The demon lunged —

so fast it blurred into the air.

WHOOSH—!!

The clash of steel and claw —

an explosion of sparks —

the rooftop quaked from the impact!

Close Combat:

The demon's claws left afterimages in the air,

each swipe sharp enough to shred flesh and bone.

Zeke pivoted on his right foot, dodging like a gust of wind.

The demon swung a full-force punch—

CLANG—!

Zeke deflected it with the flat of his blade.

The punch struck the ground instead —

leaving a deep crater where Zeke had stood seconds ago.

Zeke (inner voice, slow breathing):

"Focus... breathe... like water... adapt."

Water Breathing Form:

Zeke (soft whisper):

"Mist Veil — Flowing Death."

To the naked eye —

Zeke vanished.

The demon, confused, roared in frustration.

Then —

a sudden slash — clean across the demon's knee!

Blood sprayed high into the air!

The demon stumbled to its knees —

yet still laughed, maddened.

Slow Motion Moment:

The demon's blood exploded outward —

a mist of crimson death.

Drops splattered across Zeke's uniform.

Each drop...

a silent countdown.

Zeke synchronized his breathing with his heartbeat.

Slower... slower...

Then —

in a flash of speed almost invisible to the human eye—

Zeke moved behind the demon.

The demon didn't even realize it—

until he felt the cold kiss of steel against his neck.

Slishhhh—!

A clean, brutal

slice.

The demon's head flew through the air —

its eyes still wide in shock.

Its body staggered,

took one last doomed step...

And collapsed.

THUD.

Zeke wiped the blood from his blade with a slow, deliberate flick.
