Chapter 12 - She’s F*ing Five?

Eight Trigrams Palm: Rotation!

Had Hiashi actually taught even this Hyuga clan secret technique to Hinata already?

Hizashi found it hard to believe. At Hinata's age, even if she had started learning the move, there was no way she could execute it.

That's what he thought—until he saw it with his own eyes.

Around the body of five-year-old Hyuga Hinata, chakra burst from her tenketsu in all directions. Her small figure spun rapidly like a top, and in an instant, a silver dome of chakra—the Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation—erupted outward, deflecting all incoming kunai like leaves in the wind.

!!

Hizashi's pupils shrank in disbelief. He had never imagined that Hinata could actually perform Rotation, one of the Hyuga clan's most advanced taijutsu techniques.

And just as he was reeling from that shock, Hinata's hands began weaving hand seals with astonishing speed: Dragon – Ox – Hare!

These were the signs for Water Release: Wild Water Wave, a C-rank ninjutsu. Was she about to follow up with ninjutsu now?

Hizashi's lips curled into a faint smile. In his mind, he scoffed:

It's just a C-rank water-style ninjutsu. And there's no water source around. Such a small jutsu won't hurt your uncle.

After all, your uncle is a Konoha jonin.

Body Flicker Technique!

Hizashi closed in on Hinata instantly, planning to strike before she could cast the jutsu. But just as he was within a meter of her, Hinata completed the seal and unleashed a surging torrent of water, forming a wave over ten meters high that came crashing toward him.

!!

Hizashi's eyes widened. He quickly withdrew the hand reaching for Hinata's neck and tried to flicker away—but the wave was too vast, and the sheer volume of water trapped him momentarily.

With no escape, he was forced to deploy his own Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation to shield himself from the oncoming flood.

But in his heart, a wave of disbelief surged even higher than the water:

This is really just C-rank Water Release: Wild Water Wave?

Are you sure this isn't A-rank Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique?!

And this was happening in a place without any lakes or rivers—no water sources at all. For Hinata to conjure such a jutsu here… her innate talent for Water Release might not even be inferior to Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage!

And just as Hizashi grew more and more shaken, one of the water droplets in the crashing wave suddenly let out a puff of white smoke.

A clone of Hinata emerged from it.

Chakra erupted again from her tenketsu as she activated a technique:

Reverse Eight Trigrams Palm: Rotation!

Spinning in the opposite direction from Hizashi's own Rotation, Hinata's chakra rotation clashed with and neutralized her uncle's technique.

But she wasn't finished.

As she spun, a swirling blue chakra sphere formed in her hand—The Rasengan.

In just two seconds, Hizashi's Rotation was completely unraveled. Hinata closed the distance and, before Hizashi could use a Transformation or Body Flicker to escape, she pressed the spinning Rasengan to his abdomen.

The spinning sphere kicked up a gust of wind, raising goosebumps on Hizashi's skin.Hinata looked up at him and calmly said:

"You lost, Uncle."

"…Yeah, I lost."

Hizashi's expression was complicated as he looked at the tiny, five-year-old girl before him.

She had executed:

Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms,

Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation,

A C-rank Water Release jutsu with power rivaling the Second Hokage,

And finally, the Rasengan, an A-rank technique famously used by the Fourth Hokage…

She had used all of this to completely defeat a Konoha jonin—him.Every one of these feats confirmed one undeniable truth

Hinata was a genius beyond imagination.

And she wasn't the only one to realize this. Every Hyuga elder, every branch family member, even Hyuga Hiashi himself—Hinata's own father—was struck speechless.

Hinata, five years old, defeated Hyuga Hizashi—a Konoha jonin?!

SHE'S F*ING FIVE?!

Among the older generation of Hyuga elders, many stared at the small figure holding a Rasengan, unable to stop themselves from recalling the days of the Hyuga clan's legendary genius—Hyuga Tenjin.

Without a doubt, the girl before them now possessed talent equal to—or even greater than—Hyuga Tenjin.

After all, even Tenjin had never defeated a jonin at age five.

It was very possible that ten or twenty years from now, Hinata would grow into the next Hyuga Tenjin, leading the clan into a new era of prosperity.

Among the branch family, the equally small Neji stood stunned, watching as his father was overwhelmed by someone even younger than himself. His body trembled, his fists clenched tightly.

"Father was defeated by Hinata… who's younger than me? How is that possible?!"

"How can the heiress of the main family be this strong?!"

No—it must be that Father held back!"

That was the excuse Neji gave himself.

But then he remembered all the techniques Hinata had used—Rotation, One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms, the Rasengan—moves he hadn't even begun to learn, let alone master. And slowly, reason began to override denial.

"Father… might really not have held back."

"Hinata truly defeated him with pure strength."

"If that's true… does it mean Hinata can really defy fate? Could she actually keep Lint?"

"If she can do that… does it mean I could one day break free from the fate of the Caged Bird?!"

As the thought took hold, Neji's fists clenched even tighter.

Just then, under the gazes of the entire Hyuga clan, Hinata turned to face her father, Hiashi, and declared:

"Father, I want to keep Lint. I've told you—he's important to me."

Hiashi, still stunned, instinctively began to object.

But Hinata cut him off, raising the still-spinning Rasengan in her hand.

"Father, I suggest you listen to me.

Or I really will let this Rasengan fly."

From the crowd, Neji cried out in alarm:

"Lady Hinata, please don't hurt my father!"

Hiashi swallowed the words he was about to say, his brow furrowing in anxiety.

"Hizashi is your uncle! And you'd harm your own uncle over a complete outsider?!"

Hinata's voice was stern and unwavering.

"I told you. Lint is important to me.

And Lint… is not an outsider."
