Chapter 413 - 413: A Child’s Name.

Minato suddenly turned his head toward the infant resting in Chiga's arms.

But as he stepped closer, the baby squirmed in mild protest, burying her face against Chiga's chest as if clinging to him for comfort.

Chiga looked at the small tufts of golden hair on the child's head and teased with a faint smile,

"Minato, your genes really are strong. Both times, your children ended up blond."

"Haha, of course!" Minato answered proudly.

Just then, Naruto squeezed his way through the crowd. His eyes shone with curiosity as he reached Chiga's side and leaned forward, poking his sister's cheek with playful innocence.

Chiga chuckled softly. "Alright, it's time we give her a name."

At once, Minato's eyes lit up. "Yes! Since it's a girl, how about—"

"Minato Namikaze!" Kushina cut him off sharply, shaking her head in exasperation. "I told you not to interfere with naming."

Her gaze softened as she turned toward Chiga. "Chiga, you helped deliver her safely. Why don't you choose the name?"

For a moment, Chiga hesitated. Naming was never his strong suit. After thinking it over, he said quietly,

"…How about Hoshina?"

"Hoshina? Uzumaki Hoshina… it sounds beautiful." Kushina smiled warmly, then glanced at Minato. "What do you think?"

Though Minato wanted to protest, he swallowed his pride. The name truly did sound fitting. And as long as Kushina was happy, that was all that mattered. He nodded firmly.

At that, little Hoshina let out a soft giggle in Chiga's arms, as if approving of the name herself.

After a while, Chiga handed the newborn gently back to Kushina, offering them a rare smile before quietly taking his leave.

Back at his residence, Chiga's eyes lingered on Kaguya's slightly rounded belly. A flicker of expectation stirred in his heart. Through the Tenseigan, he could already sense the faint beginnings of new life within her, though it would still take time before the child's birth.

Noticing his gaze, Kaguya whispered softly, "Master."

Chiga's expression eased. He sat down beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. She leaned into him, resting her head against his shoulder in quiet contentment.

When Yamato returned later, she found Chiga stepping out of the chamber, a robe draped loosely over him.

No longer naïve, Yamato instantly understood what had happened. A blush spread across her cheeks, her eyes flickering shyly toward him before quickly averting.

Chiga, unfazed, picked up a glass of water from the table, downed it in one motion, and said flatly,

"Had your fill of wandering? It's time we returned."

"Eh? Master, are you saying… back to Marineford?" she asked carefully.

"Yes. I'll see you safely there, then set out on a journey of my own."

"Journey? Where will you go? Can I come with you?"

Chiga shook his head. The "journey" he spoke of was one across dimensions, this time without any fixed destination. It was a random leap, and dragging companions along without knowing the dangers ahead would be reckless.

"It'll be safer if I go alone first," he said calmly. "Once I've confirmed it, then I'll bring the rest of you."

Yamato pursed her lips but didn't press further. Instead, she gave a small nod. "Then… Master, please come back soon. I'll miss you."

Her words carried no hesitation. She met his gaze openly, her feelings written in her eyes.

Without warning, Black Zetsu emerged from the shadows behind her and gave her a push. Yamato stumbled forward and collided into Chiga, her arms instinctively wrapping around him. His head brushed against her chest as she held him tightly.

Black Zetsu chuckled darkly, then melted back into the ground, disappearing without a trace.

Yamato, however, didn't release him. She tightened her hold instead, refusing to let go.

Chiga did not resist. One arm circled her waist, and he murmured quietly,

"Alright, I know. How could I ever forget my only disciple?"

Her cheeks flushed deeper. "…En."

The next day, Chiga escorted Yamato back to the Pirate World. After entrusting matters to Hina, Kalifa, and the others at Rizwell Palace, he opened a dimensional portal. Unlike before, the group accepted his departure with more calmness.

Stepping through the portal, Chiga emerged into a sprawling modern city. At first glance, he almost mistook it for his old home world, but the flying vehicles overhead and futuristic technologies made it clear he was elsewhere.

Only when his eyes landed on a massive building labeled Capsule Corporation did he realize where he was. He had stepped into the Dragon Ball World.

To confirm, he seized a passerby and used the Human Path to read his memories.

From them, he learned that five years had passed since the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament—the very one where Piccolo Jr. had first appeared. That meant the world was now on the cusp of change. Soon, the Saiyan Raditz would arrive on Earth, and with him, the explosive rise of power levels that defined this world.

After restoring the man's soul, Chiga released him unharmed and flew to a mountain peak. There, he began to consider his next move.

As an Ōtsutsuki who had absorbed the ultimate Divine Tree fruit, Chiga knew his strength had far surpassed the limits of both the Naruto and One Piece worlds. A foe like Raditz, whose power level measured only 1500, would be nothing to him.

And yet, he couldn't help but wonder just how he compared in this universe. With his near-immortal body, control over space-time, and destructive abilities capable of erasing planets, his limits were still unknown.

"Perhaps Raditz's scouter will give me an answer," Chiga mused. "At the very least, it will be… an interesting comparison."

The wind howled across the mountaintop as he closed his eyes, waiting patiently for the Saiyan's arrival.
