While Gion spoke with Chiga, Violet quietly observed from the side. She was a perceptive woman and knew when to make her presence known.
After a brief chat, everyone returned to the Royal Palace.
King Riku, upon seeing Chiga, nearly abdicated on the spot, promptly stepping aside and leaving the entire Royal Palace under Chiga's authority.
Chiga was taken aback, and Shirahoshi was stunned. She had initially believed her father acted humbly enough, yet witnessing King Riku's deference made her realize there were truly people beyond ordinary measures.
That night, Gion did not stay in the same room as Chiga. She lightly kissed his forehead and teased,
"Tonight, I want to sleep with Shirahoshi and the others to strengthen our bond. How does that sound?"
Chiga merely nodded. For him, one night was not a concern.
Arriving at the luxurious room King Riku had prepared, Chiga entered the Dragon God Realm and began organizing things.
Not long after, the door creaked open, revealing a slender figure tiptoeing in.
It was Violet, wearing a purple silk nightgown that accentuated her charm. Her expression was slightly nervous. Though usually bold in Chiga's presence, it was her first time sneaking into a man's room at night.
Approaching the bed, she noticed Chiga was absent. Puzzled, she touched the sheets, sensing a lingering warmth—he had only just left.
Violet then walked to a full-length mirror, tidied her hair, and struck a few alluring poses, radiating a subtle seductiveness. Afterward, she kicked off her shoes and quietly climbed into the covers, waiting for Chiga's return.
Meanwhile, in the Dragon God Realm, Chiga had been inspired by the backyard he had seen earlier. He created a large, vibrant garden filled with blooming flowers, surrounded by fluttering, colorful butterflies—a visual delight.
Clapping his hands softly, he remarked,
"Not bad, it's improving. I can let Nerona and the others move in later. But it's still missing something."
Snapping his fingers, several thick orange trees sprouted instantly.
"Nami and Nojiko would love this."
He plucked an orange, which peeled itself in midair, arriving in his hand as a complete segment. Biting into it, the sweet and tangy juice melted in his mouth. Chiga was thoroughly satisfied with the premium fruit he had created.
With the Godly ability, anything he envisioned could manifest with just a thought. In under ten minutes, he had crafted a magnificent garden—a display of unmatched efficiency.
Returning to his bed, Chiga pulled back the covers and found Violet blushing beneath them.
Violet propped herself on the bed and whispered,
"Chiga, you're back so soon. I thought I'd have to wait."
Chiga raised an eyebrow,
"Why are you here? Does Gion know?"
Violet smiled mischievously,
"Of course she knows. Otherwise, I wouldn't dare sneak out. I waited until Shirahoshi and the others were asleep, don't worry."
Chiga replied with mock seriousness,
"What am I supposed to worry about? It's the middle of the night, aren't you afraid?"
Violet covered his mouth, leaning close and whispering,
"What would I be afraid of? Ever since back then, I've waited for this moment, you know? Now that it's here, how could I be scared?"
Chiga pushed her hand away and said earnestly,
"If you're trying to repay a debt, there's no need. At the time, it was just my duty."
Violet gently placed his hand on her chest, speaking softly,
"There's gratitude, of course, but any woman would be moved by a man like you. Tonight, I've chosen you. I will be yours."
Chiga remained composed, silently reclining onto the bed as the lights dimmed. He grabbed Violet by the neck, pulling her into a deep kiss. In the darkness, Violet's bright smile gleamed, and she snuggled under his touch, her breath warm against him.
Then he took off his upper wear, revealing a pack of clean abs. Violet followed his movements, slipping off her own top as they continued their kiss, their closeness deepening with every heartbeat.
He undid her underwear slowly, his voice dropping to a low murmur as he whispered things meant for her alone—words that made her shiver and cling tighter to him. Their world narrowed to quiet breaths, shared warmth, and the soft rustle of the dimly lit room…
And the night faded gently into silence.

The next morning, breakfast was underway in the hall. Rebecca noticed, puzzled,
"Huh, where did Auntie go? I didn't see her when I woke up."
Gion glanced at Chiga, who was sipping milk, and explained with a smile,
"She couldn't sleep last night and went for a walk. She should be back in her room now, resting. Don't worry, let's eat first."
Rebecca nodded and used a fork to place a piece of tender fish onto Shirahoshi's plate. The two pink-haired Princesses had grown close overnight.
"Shirahoshi, this steamed sea bass is excellent. You haven't tried any. Don't miss it!"
A drop of cold sweat ran down Shirahoshi's forehead. She forced a smile,
"Thank you, Rebecca, but I really don't like eating fish. You should have it instead."
Chiga clarified gently,
"Rebecca, remember Shirahoshi is a Merfolk Princess."
Rebecca slapped her head in realization,
"Oh right! How careless of me, Shirahoshi!"
Shirahoshi waved her hands,
"It's okay, I didn't make it clear!"
Curious, Rebecca reached out and patted Shirahoshi's legs,
"But Shirahoshi, Merfolk girls are supposed to have fish tails, right? Did I remember wrong?"
Shirahoshi shared some little-known facts about the Merfolk with Rebecca, who responded enthusiastically,
"What a magical race! I must visit Fish-Man Island someday!"
"Yes, yes! You're welcome as a guest anytime!"
