Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: All Inclusive

Lin Fan shuddered on the spot.

All he did was point out a legitimate flaw with the Fruit phone. So why were these people staring at him like he just dug up their ancestors' graves?

Suddenly, a man in the crowd pointed at Lin Fan and snapped coldly, "Kid, if you don't know anything about phones, stop talking nonsense!"

"The green screen is a new feature developed by Fruit—it's called eye protection mode. Understand?"

The woman clinging to the man chimed in, "That's right. It's eye protection. Only bumpkins wouldn't know that!"

The crowd began jeering, mocking Lin Fan with contempt.

Every sentence was laced with sarcasm, as if he had committed some great sin by criticizing their beloved brand.

Lin Fan was dumbfounded.

He stared at the greenish screen in his hand… then at the people surrounding him.

What the hell?

If he hadn't seen the system's evaluation for himself and known the truth, he might've really believed their nonsense.

Minutes passed, and instead of stopping, the mockery intensified.

It was as if a huge word—"Loyalty"—had been stamped on every single face.

These people weren't here to buy phones anymore. They were here to defend their god.

Lin Fan sighed. He didn't bother arguing. There was no reasoning with blind fanatics.

Just then, the sales assistant returned after finishing her earlier task and heard the commotion. For a moment, she froze.

But quickly regaining composure, she approached Lin Fan with a smile. "Sir, may I take a look at the phone?"

Lin Fan handed it over without a word.

As the assistant examined the phone, the crowd around them started shouting again:

"Kick this guy out!"

"Yeah! He dares slander Fruit! Phones like these are only for people with status. Losers like him aren't worthy!"

"He doesn't understand technology at all. Just having him in this store is an insult!"

However—

At that moment, the assistant suddenly bowed deeply to Lin Fan and said apologetically, "Sir, I'm terribly sorry. You're absolutely right. This phone is defective."

"Due to the large number of shipments, quality control sometimes misses a few units. This phone happens to be one of those rare cases."

"To make it up to you, we'll deduct an additional 300 yuan. And if there are any further issues, please feel free to return for repairs or replacement."

Lin Fan didn't respond immediately. Instead, he glanced around at the crowd's now very awkward faces and asked the assistant:

"If I buy more phones… say, quite a few—can I get a bigger discount?"

The assistant blinked, momentarily stunned. Then she nodded quickly. "Of course, sir. The more you purchase, the better the deal!"

Lin Fan smiled brilliantly. "Good, then… pack up every single phone in this store for me."

The store went dead silent.

Pack up… everything?

Was this guy insane?

These weren't knock-off phones—they were Fruit phones, with the cheapest still costing thousands! If he bought all of them, it would easily surpass three million yuan!

The sales assistant stared at him like he was a creature from another world. "Sir… are you sure you're not joking?"

Lin Fan gave a serious look. "Do I look like I'm joking?"

With that, he pulled out a black Qianye Bank card.

The assistant's pupils dilated instantly.

A black card?!

This was something she had only seen in news articles. A legendary card reserved for the truly elite.

Now, it was right in front of her.

She bowed and rushed off to call her manager.

A few minutes later, a middle-aged man—clearly the store manager—rushed in, nearly tripping over himself.

"Sir! Are you really the one buying all the phones?"

He looked at Lin Fan like he was admiring a rare gem—or perhaps a walking money tree.

Lin Fan nodded lightly. "That's right. All of them. Swipe the card."

The manager accepted the black card with both hands, trembling. It felt like he was holding a sacred relic.

"Pack up everything!" the manager ordered his staff with excitement. "Even the display models! Everything must go!"

Phones in customers' hands were even taken back mid-inspection.

"What the hell? I was just about to pay!" one customer shouted.

The manager gave him a disdainful look. "Please. You were just haggling for a twelve-month installment plan. If you can't afford it, just say so. Don't waste our time."

The man's face turned beet red.

Soon, every single phone in the store had been packed up and stacked high, filling over half the room.

The total amount?

Over three million yuan.

The onlookers were in utter disbelief.

They were about to buy their dream phones at this store, which offered the lowest prices in the area. Other stores were several hundred yuan more expensive!

And just like that, this guy wiped out the entire inventory.

But what could they do?

Nothing.

They could only stand there and watch, envy burning in their eyes.

Lin Fan accepted his card back and casually surveyed the wall of boxes.

The manager approached respectfully. "Sir, shall we have them delivered somewhere for you?"

Lin Fan nodded. "Sure. Send them all to the sanitation workers in the city."

What?!

The entire store froze again.

Even the manager was caught off guard for a second—but quickly recovered. After all, wealthy people were known for being… eccentric.

But the rest of the crowd?

They exploded.

A guy with dyed yellow hair jabbed a finger at Lin Fan and roared, "Are you mocking Fruit phones?! These are meant for people of status! High-class users!"

"And you're giving them to garbage collectors?! You're a disgrace! I'm reporting you!"

Lin Fan's expression turned cold.

This time, he didn't ignore it.

With a single stride, he stormed up to the yellow-haired guy and—bam!—punched him square in the eye.

The man staggered back, clutching his face in pain.

Lin Fan grabbed him by the collar and growled:

"Sanitation workers work their fingers to the bone for this city every day. Their hands may be dirty—but their souls are cleaner than yours."

"Without them, would your streets even be walkable?"

"'People of status'? 'Higher class'? Are you brainwashed or just plain stupid?"

"I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for you."
