"What are you daydreaming about?" Riku gently patted Hatsuse Fiya's head, his expression dead serious. "Fiya is Fiya—the girl I love. That's all that matters."
"From now on, don't overthink things. Or I'll have to resort to family punishment."
"...Okay." Hearing that, Fiya shyly wagged her tail and gave a slow nod. Especially when she heard "family punishment," her face turned bright red.
Family punishment… it sounded like a death sentence, but in reality...
"Ah, right! Fiya, I've got two gifts for you." Riku suddenly remembered and smiled brightly.
"...Huh?" Fiya tilted her head in confusion. She didn't know what Riku was about to give her, but just the thought made her incredibly happy inside.
Jibril was curious too and looked over at Riku with interest.
"This one's called Shangri-La. It's a space-type artifact…" Riku pulled a small item from his storage and explained its functions and how to use it.
Ever since he got Jibril's teleportation ability, this item had become kind of useless to him. But even so, it was still a rare and valuable space artifact. Giving it to Fiya seemed like a great idea.
"So Master's old space abilities came from this?" Jibril was the first to react, her eyes wide as she stared at the tiny cube in Riku's hand.
Zhu Bi didn't look surprised—she already knew.
But Shenhong's eyes flickered in shock. A space-type item… and he just gave it away so casually?
"Husband, I... I can't accept this. It's way more useful for you," Fiya said, touched but resolute.
"Nah, don't worry about it. I already have better space powers now, so you take it. Otherwise, I'll just toss it out." Riku shook his head with a gentle smile as he stroked Fiya's head. This girl really did put him first in everything.
"Mm… if that's the case, then I'll accept it~" Fiya hesitated for a moment, then finally took Shangri-La with a blushing face.
She decided that tonight she'd let Riku do whatever he wanted... Even those super embarrassing poses she never had the guts to try before—she'd grit her teeth and go through with it. After all, her husband treated her so well… how could she say no anymore?
"And finally, your wedding gift—from me, as compensation." Riku grinned, his voice confident.
"Huh? Wasn't that the gift?" Fiya blinked, snapping out of her fantasies.
"That one's nice, but kinda lacking in sincerity for a wedding present, don't you think?" Riku replied with a serious look.
"I told you I'd prepare the perfect gift for you, remember? So here it is." He pulled out another item from his storage space—this time, a clear glass bottle filled with deep crimson blood.
Even though it was just blood, it gave off an intense, overwhelming aura.
"—!" The second Riku took it out, Fiya's eyes locked onto it. Her body instinctively entered a "blood frenzy" state, like she was about to snatch it on the spot.
Then, her petite body shuddered—and she snapped back to herself. Panicking, she looked at Riku and hurried to explain, "H-Husband! I just now, I didn't mean to—!"
"No need to explain. I get it." Riku calmly patted her head and gave a small shake of his head.
This was the blood of a Beast God. He wasn't sure which one, but it definitely wasn't some common stuff. For a beastkin like Fiya, being drawn to it was only natural.
In fact, the way she snapped back immediately, worried that he'd misunderstand—that really touched him.
"Master, what is that stuff? The little pup (Fia) almost attacked you for it," Jibril asked, eyes fixed on the blood with curiosity.
"You could think of it as a super high-grade bloodline essence that helps beastkin evolve," Riku replied after thinking for a moment.
Calling it "Beast God blood" would be kind of awkward... especially since it didn't belong to a Beast God from this world.
"I see." Jibril and Shenhong both nodded in realization. No wonder little Fiya, who always put Riku above everything else, almost lost control like that.
Shenhong especially felt the impact—after all, just because she'd once used a derogatory term for humans, Fiya had nearly killed her...
"Husband, this is... way too valuable," Fiya said now, clearly torn. She really wanted it, but didn't want to waste resources either.
Riku chuckled and flicked her forehead. She instinctively covered it and looked at him with teary eyes.
"Geez, what did I just say? Stop overthinking." He smiled. "This thing? Other races can't use it—it only works on beastkin. That's why I said it's the perfect gift for you."
"Thank you, Husband…" Fiya said softly, her cheeks glowing pink.
"Tonight… I'll serve you well. Anything you want, I'll do," she whispered into his ear, her arms wrapped tightly around him. Her face burned red, and her voice was barely a murmur.
Right now, she couldn't do much to help him, so this was the only way she knew how to show her love.
"Heh, you said it—no backing out now." Riku's eyes lit up, looking clearly excited.
"My my~ What's Master whispering over there?" Jibril grinned slyly. "Can't I join too?"
Startled, Fiya quickly stepped back. She had totally forgotten there were other girls here! And she had just acted so clingy and intimate in front of everyone...
"But before that—Master, aren't you forgetting to give me a gift too? That's not very fair, y'know~" Jibril pouted dramatically, giving Riku her best wounded-puppy stare.
"Don't worry. Your perfect gift's coming soon." Riku raised an eyebrow and gave her a teasing smirk. Honestly, this girl always caused trouble—he definitely needed to discipline her a bit.
"Ehehe…" Jibril gave an awkward giggle.
Zhu Bi didn't say anything—just clutched the doll in her arms. She already had her gift.
As for Shenhong, watching how Riku interacted with the others made her… oddly envious, though she couldn't quite say why.
"Fiya, drink this," Riku said gently, handing her the bottle of blood.
"Okay." Fiya's expression instantly turned serious—no more blushing or bashfulness.
