Chapter 2 - Chapter2:

Chapter2:

Susan had actually completed the magic system's mission the moment she gave birth to her son.

But out of love, for the child, and for Andrew Feynman, she chose to stay. Yet now, both her son Sam and Andrew had made it clear: They didn't want her.

The system offered cold comfort:

[Host, no one in this world loves you anyway. There's nothing here worth clinging to. You might as well enjoy the next ten days with your 100million divorce fee.]

[In ten days, I'll take you to another world, to a better life.]

But those words, meant to comfort, only brought tears to Susan's eyes.

How absurd.

She lived in this world with a husband, a son, and even parents. And yet, not a single person she loved, loved her back. They all only ever loved her sister, Rebecca Copper.

She remembered when they were kids. Rebecca once danced ballet in front of their parents. They were so delighted, they bought her a house one week later. And when she won first place in a performance, Susan had thought, just maybe, she'd hear a word of praise too. Instead, Rebecca pushed her down the stairs. Susan broke her leg. Her parents only said: "Serves you right for stealing your sister's spotlight."

That was the day she realized, she doesn't have parents actually.

Later, she pinned all her hopes on Andrew. She gave him everything, all her love, all her heart. But in the end, she was still just discarded.

So fine.

If that's what they wanted, she didn't want them either.

An hour later.

With 100 million in her account, Susan walked into Fade, the most luxurious club in Monterey Bay.

Susan strode in, lifted her black card with a bold flick of her wrist, and announced: "Bring out all your popular stars! I've got money, 100 million!"

Her voice had just fallen when she was roughly yanked back. She turned around, only to meet Andrew's furious gaze. "Posting on X for attention wasn't enough?" he snapped. "You even followed me here? What? just because you knew I was holding Rebecca's welcome-back party on the 88th floor?"

"She's your sister. Why do you always have to go against her?"

Before Susan could speak, their son Sam chimed in disapprovingly: "Mommy, stop embarrassing yourself. You and Aunt Rebecca are sisters. Why are you always so petty?"

"Acting like this, throwing yourself away like trash. Daddy will only hate you more."

Susan flinched. His words landed like a knife to the heart.

She swallowed the bitterness in her throat, brushed Andrew's hand away, and said coldly: "I don't have time to interrupt your lovely life with Rebecca. My next ten days are announced publicly. If you find me disgusting, just stay out of my way."

Without another word, she turned and walked off. Andrew stared at her retreating figure, a strange sense of irritation and unease rising in his heart.

That night, Susan checked into a president suite at The Four Seasons.

She called in a swarm of people, men who sang, danced, and performed for her. Bottles of liquor kept arriving, one after another. But she just sat quietly on the sofa, watching them put on their shows. Hundreds of thousands, even half million dollars in performance fees flowed freely. Laughter and music spilled out of the room, filling the night with noise and celebration.

But Susan didn't laugh once.

Soon, online posts with her name exploded on trending lists again:

#Shocking! Andrew Feynman Spends Lavishly on Rebecca Copper's Welcome-Home Party; Susan Drowns Sorrows with Male Models!#

#Former Best Actress Susan Copper 'Spends One Million' for Night of Stripper! #

The comments section went wild:

"Is Susan Copper so shameless now she's using scandal for attention?"

"Look at those photos—she's surrounded by strippers. Doesn't she worry about getting sick with this kind of wild partying?"

"That gold-digging sister of the pure and talented composer Rebecca Copper—Susan is such a curse on the family!"

"Wicked woman coveting her sister's husband! Go to hell!"

The internet was a storm of cruelty.

But Susan didn't check her phone once. She just kept drinking, one glass after another.

The next morning, a shrill ring woke her from a hangover that made her head pound like a drum. With great effort, she found her phone and answered. Her mother's furious voice spat out venom: "You ungrateful girl! You shamelessly made a scene online!"

"I didn't"

But her mother cut her off before she could explain:

"You act disgracefully, and now everyone knows Rebecca has a worthless little sister like you. How do you expect the Feynman family to respect your sister now?"

"Get out of that filthy place immediately and come back to the Feynman family! If you don't fix your marriage, I'll freeze your bank cards and leave you penniless to homeless!"

Then her mother hung up.

Those harsh, cutting words burned deep into Susan's heart. Rubbing her throbbing temples, she tried to comfort herself:

"Susan, it's ok. You'll be leaving this world soon anyway."

Still, she went back. Her bank account is a joint account with her mom's. She needed her permit to release the account.

Only nine days left, as the system said. She had to live happily for those last days with the divorce compensation.

An hour later, Susan returned to the house she had shared with Andrew for six years.

The main hall was empty and silent, she assumed they weren't home. But upstairs, just outside the master bedroom, she heard low, intimate voices. Her heart twisted painfully.

Trembling, she reached for the door handle, just about to push it open.

When suddenly, a little boy ran toward her like a cannonball, shoving her aside!

"Bad Mommy! You can't come in! Daddy said Aunt Rebecca and he are going to get a little sister for me, so you're not allowed to bother us!"
