Chapter 220 - 《Naruto: The Ōtsutsuki Bloodline》Chapter 220: Fusion of Yin-Yang Release (Please Subscribe)

Kitagawa Minamoto took a moment to savor having thoroughly irritated the "evil Senju old ghost"—a figure often compared to him and who frequently caused him to be scolded.

With a flash, he returned home. Though recent events had been numerous, he found them all quite manageable.

"The ninja world is inherently chaotic; a little more turbulence hardly matters."

Reflecting on his earlier statement after arriving home, he suddenly realized—

It actually made perfect sense!

"Hiss..."

Kitagawa Minamoto drew a sharp breath. If one didn't know the truth and only looked at the Uchiha stone tablet...

"It really does seem like the Sage of Six Paths favored Indra, leaving Asura dissatisfied!"

He felt a twinge of guilt—had he unintentionally slandered Asura?

But considering how he had quietly defamed the Sage of Six Paths while on the moon without facing any consequences...

"Talking about his sons shouldn't be a big deal!"

Kitagawa Minamoto nodded seriously before dismissing the matter entirely.

What truly intrigued him now was the "gift of nature" from Nagato.

"Both the Tenseigan and Rinnegan are collections of 'creation and destruction,' but their approaches to utilizing and understanding power differ significantly."

These differences in power application naturally led to varied effects.

Distinct perspectives on understanding and perceiving power would give him broader insights and enable a more seamless integration of Yin-Yang Release.

"Over the past three years on the moon, I've gained a thorough understanding of Yin Release and Yang Release, as well as improvements in their application. Now, only the fusion step remains."

The final step, however, was also the most challenging.

While he was confident in his ability to eventually succeed through perseverance—the potential of the Ōtsutsuki clan was undeniable.

Even though the Ōtsutsuki might not possess Kekkei Mōra, their mastery of Yin-Yang Release was unparalleled.

As his bloodline developed, he could feel his fusion of Yin-Yang Release gradually advancing.

"But I'm not willing to wait. Rather than letting bloodline development drive progress, I'll actively fuse the releases to enhance my bloodline!"

With this thought, Kitagawa Minamoto opened the system's reward.

Instantly, he felt the familiar sensation of his brain "itching," as if it were expanding with new knowledge.

Fortunately, he was already accustomed to this sensation and began analyzing and absorbing the new information flooding his mind.

"Indeed, this differs from my Tenseigan and my understanding of Yin-Yang Release. Or perhaps the difference lies in the formation process itself..."

When everything settled, Kitagawa Minamoto stroked his chin thoughtfully.

The Rinnegan he had received insights about was the pair Madara Uchiha had awakened before his death. Its activation involved using Hashirama Senju's cells to achieve the "power of all creation."

This power cleverly constructed the effect of "Yin-Yang unity," resulting in unique techniques and effects.

"For example, those black rods and the Rinne Rebirth Technique?"

Kitagawa Minamoto speculated. At the very least, his Tenseigan lacked these abilities.

The black rods he used were self-generated. While effective in combat, they lacked stability.

As for the Rinne Rebirth Technique...

He had never "unlocked" it!

Not that it mattered—he had his own "Self-Rebirth Technique." But in hindsight, the difference was evident.

"Meanwhile, this Rinnegan lacks the high-damage explosive techniques like 'Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion' and 'Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion,' and it doesn't feature Chakra Mode..."

Of course, the Rinnegan had its own unique techniques.

For instance, "Heavenly Hand Power" and "Limbo: Border Jail" were noteworthy. However, the differences between the two dōjutsu were undeniably vast!

"It truly is a contest of mechanics versus raw power..."

Kitagawa Minamoto mused, realizing something else.

"This is Madara Uchiha's Rinnegan, and each pair of Rinnegan is unique."

In his memory, Urashiki Ōtsutsuki's Rinnegan was the most distinctive, its blue and red colors alternating to represent space and time abilities.

However, Urashiki's offensive capabilities were lacking, further highlighting the "mechanical" nature of the Rinnegan.

"Different Rinnegan pairs can embody distinct mechanics, leading to varied interpretations and applications!"

With this realization, Kitagawa Minamoto's eyes lit up.

The Tenseigan was hard to come by, but among the Ōtsutsuki, it seemed almost everyone except Isshiki had a pair of Rinnegan!

"Although I'm developing my own Rinnegan..."

As a fellow Ōtsutsuki, if his eyesight was poor, wouldn't any Rinnegan he encountered technically be his?

If anyone had complaints, they could take it up with his Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!

Fleeing Ōtsutsuki were rebels; those who stayed to fight were merely well-trained rebels.

If they insisted on living, he'd naturally keep firing away!

"For now, I should focus on fusing my Yin-Yang Release."

Kitagawa Minamoto shook his head, taking a deep breath to clear his thoughts.

"Only with sufficient strength can I deal with them effectively!"

While Kitagawa Minamoto immersed himself in training, the Senju brothers and Tsunade remained in somber silence within the Senju Clan's ancestral residence.

The revelations from the previous day had been overwhelming.

Who would have thought a mere stone tablet could stir up so many profound questions?

"Brothers? Seriously?"

Tobirama paced back and forth in the room.

"Damn it, how are we related to those evil Uchiha?!"

"What's wrong with that? I think it's wonderful."

Hashirama blinked, his mood surprisingly light.

"No wonder when I first saw Madara by the river, I felt an immediate sense of connection..."

"Shut up! How can you be cheerful about this right now?"

Tobirama clutched his head in frustration.

"Don't forget that traitor betrayed Konohagakure—and you personally killed him!"

"Didn't you say he might not be dead?"

"...Why is that the only thing you remember?! What about the Senju Clan's relics? Focus on that instead!"

"I honestly don't know. Father didn't share much with me—he probably told you everything."

"Damn it, are you blaming everything on me now?!"

Tobirama felt utterly exasperated dealing with his elder brother.

Tsunade couldn't help but interject,

"Instead of arguing about this, why not focus on the Sage of Six Paths' new solution? What do you think it might be?"

"How should I know? The Sage of Six Paths is on a completely different level..."

Tobirama shook his head in frustration, while Hashirama furrowed his brows.

"Could it be related to Madara's departure?"

"Hmm?"

Hashirama's suggestion caught Tobirama off guard. After a long silence, he shook his head.

"I don't know. If it is related, that's the worst-case scenario. Don't forget what he did afterward."

Hashirama opened his mouth but ultimately said nothing.

After Madara left, he returned to Konohagakure with the Nine-Tails, leading to a cataclysmic battle.

If this was tied to the tablet's later contents, the implications were truly dire!

"There must be a reason."

Hashirama pursed his lips, though he struggled to articulate his thoughts.

Fortunately, Tsunade spoke up.

"Answers will come eventually. If your guesses are correct, Sasuke will be able to decipher the remaining information in the future. And with Minamoto around, the situation isn't too concerning."

"I just hope Sasuke doesn't follow in Madara's footsteps."

Tobirama shook his head, though he trusted Kitagawa Minamoto's capabilities.

"Fine. As Tsunade said, with Minamoto around, there shouldn't be any issues. That kid is not only stronger than you were back then, Brother, but he's also more ruthless and clever."

"...And less like a decent human being."

Hashirama muttered softly, prompting Tobirama to raise an eyebrow.

"What did you just say?"

"You misheard. Let's not dwell on these troublesome matters. Do you think Minamoto's theory is correct?"

Hashirama quickly shook his head, though Tobirama seemed on the verge of losing his composure.

"Correct or not, it's all nonsense! I'll dig up every inch of ground to find the truth!"

"But we truly have no memory of any Sage of Six Paths relics..."

"No relics? Then start digging!"

Tobirama refused to back down, rising to his feet with determination.

He turned to Hashirama and Tsunade, barking orders.

"Tonight, you'll excavate our old clan grounds if necessary! No matter what, find something!"

"Uh..."

Tsunade and Hashirama exchanged pained looks. After a long pause, the First Hokage hesitantly asked,

"What if we don't find anything? And what will you be doing?"

"Don't find anything? Then that's even better!"

Tobirama's expression turned grim.

"I'll scour our family's historical records. If nothing turns up... I'll make damn sure that evil brat Minamoto's words don't become reality!"

"For the honor of our clan, I'll fight to the bitter end!"

"..."

The next morning.

Kitagawa Minamoto opened his eyes slightly, a glimmer of excitement flashing within them.

"It's working. Is the fusion process really progressing this efficiently?"

He had spent the entire night contemplating and integrating his Yin-Yang Release.

This fusion wasn't like his previous integrations of Kekkei Genkai; it represented a "Yin-Yang unity of body and spirit."

The difficulty was far greater than any other Kekkei Genkai he had mastered.

Even as an Ōtsutsuki, Kitagawa Minamoto could feel the complexity of the process. Otherwise, his progress wouldn't have been so slow despite years of effort.

"But this time, not only have I found an entry point, but the fusion is accelerating rapidly. If all goes well..."

After estimating the timeline, Kitagawa Minamoto concluded that he should achieve results within a month!

"One month. Not too long, not too short. I'm genuinely looking forward to it."

Compared to the time he had already invested, a month was practically nothing.

What intrigued him most now was how much his Yin-Yang Release would contribute to his bloodline development at this stage.

"Early-stage development would undoubtedly yield significant gains, but at this point, it's hard to predict..."

Kitagawa Minamoto stroked his chin thoughtfully. Just as he was lost in contemplation, he heard a faint noise from the windowsill.

Raising an eyebrow, he quickly broke into a smile.

"Well, well."

He walked over to the window and gently opened it.

Sunlight streamed in, illuminating the vibrant flowers blooming on the sill.

Though they were hardy, ordinary plants, their blossoms were stunningly beautiful, and the fresh air was invigorating.

Beyond the flowers, he noticed a figure outside the window.

Seeing who it was, Kitagawa Minamoto couldn't help but smile.

"Good morning, Ino."

"Good morning, Senior."
