Chapter 231 - 《Naruto: The Ōtsutsuki Bloodline》Chapter 231: Yesterday Once More (Fourth Update, Please Subscribe)

Kitagawa Minamoto's favorite and most skilled activity?

Beating down a drowning dog!

Isshiki dared not fully resurrect himself through Jigen's body. Although his resurrection would grant him extraordinary combat power, it would also immediately lead to a critical reduction in his lifespan. Ōtsutsuki battles were never short affairs, and he couldn't afford to gamble recklessly.

This hesitation gave Kitagawa Minamoto the perfect opportunity. While he had morals, his moral baseline was highly flexible when dealing with enemies.

"Crush this guy, absorb his power, extract his memories, and take everything he has!"

Kitagawa Minamoto's objectives were crystal clear. The ninja blade in his hand, infused with the combined power of Truth-Seeking Balls and the Sword of Totsuka, radiated an infinite golden light. This overwhelming energy suffocated everyone nearby, even making Jigen feel as though he couldn't open his eyes properly.

"Damn it, this guy..." Jigen cursed under his breath, clasping his hands together as a surge of power erupted from his eyes.

"Hmm?" Kitagawa Minamoto watched intently as dozens of tiny cubic "particles" appeared. In the next instant, under Jigen's ocular powers, these particles expanded rapidly.

"His 'Daikokuten,' huh?" Daikokuten possessed overwhelming weight and the ability to disrupt sensory perception—a technique that was both offensive and defensive. However, this only heightened Kitagawa Minamoto's interest. The golden light in his hand continued to shine brilliantly, and in a flash, his golden sword struck forward.

BOOM!

Under the extreme power of the "Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion," even the seemingly indestructible Daikokuten cubes couldn't withstand the impact. Accompanied by a cracking sound, one of the Daikokuten cubes was split cleanly in two!

"Its offensive power is that strong?" Jigen's expression grew more serious. Fortunately, it was still within a tolerable range. As he faced the surging tide of energy, his figure instantly vanished.

"Shrinking, huh?" Kitagawa Minamoto noticed Jigen's movements clearly, but in that same moment, countless black iron spikes filled the sky!

Buzz—

These iron spikes, infused with Yin-Yang Release, descended madly. Meanwhile, on the ground, similar spikes had spread out in all directions.

"Hmph, some tricks." Kitagawa Minamoto nodded slightly in acknowledgment, but then shook his head dismissively. Although Jigen was being controlled by Isshiki and could wield Isshiki's powers, the extent of his control was uncertain. These black spikes, formed from Yin-Yang Release, were so minuscule that a moment's carelessness could allow them to pierce the body. If they were enlarged at the right moment, they would undoubtedly deal a fatal blow!

But Isshiki was Isshiki, and Jigen was Jigen...

"This is far from enough!"

The golden sword light danced once more, and this time, Kitagawa Minamoto clearly expanded the area of his attack. The tiny black spikes were instantly deflected by his blade, while the spikes in the sky were swept away entirely!

"Senior, fighting like this doesn't seem very dignified." Kitagawa Minamoto lowered his gaze to the ground, his chakra surging once again. "I don't understand—since you've already acted, why not carry our shared will to fulfill my dream?"

As he spoke, several massive chakra spheres materialized before him. These spheres radiated terrifying power, and within them, Jigen could sense a familiar chakra aura!

"The power of the Ten-Tails—this guy..." Shrunken and concealed, Jigen immediately understood Kitagawa Minamoto's intentions. This bastard was planning to "cleanse the battlefield." But that wasn't the most important thing—the crucial point was Kitagawa Minamoto's words! This lunatic kept spouting nonsense about "shared will" when he was clearly just making excuses.

Jigen didn't have time to dwell on it. As Kitagawa Minamoto's chakra erupted in the sky, the enormous chakra spheres descended in an instant.

BOOM—

BOOM—

BOOM—

The deafening explosions seemed to echo across the universe. The earth trembled violently, as if struck by a catastrophic earthquake. The rising chakra transformed into blazing flames, causing the entire ground to heat up unbearably. The destruction leveled mountains, scorched the earth, and turned the pitch-black night into what seemed like daylight.

"What kind of battle is this..." Everyone in Konohagakure was stunned by the spectacle. Even deep within the village, they could feel the ripples from the outside world. Meanwhile, the resurrected individuals froze in their tracks, feeling embarrassed. Should they head toward the chaos, or remain cautious? This hesitation left them conflicted. They couldn't shake the feeling that if they approached, even as resurrected beings, they might meet their end.

"Is this the power of a god?" Orochimaru had already climbed to the highest vantage point, gazing at the distant scene with awe. The ability to destroy everything with a mere gesture—if that wasn't godlike, then what could be considered divine?

"It's truly terrifying..." Obito Uchiha had wrapped himself entirely within Kamui's space, not daring to expose himself even slightly. Having been beaten down so many times, he had learned his lesson. Watching the distant battle, he remained silent. His fists clenched slightly, and a trace of doubt crept into his mind.

"This battle's scale far exceeds the one with Nagato..."

"Can we... really defeat someone like him?"

"Even if the Ten-Tails is summoned..."

Obito felt lost, as if his understanding of the world was growing increasingly blurry. Suddenly, he realized something.

"Who is he fighting against?" The identity of his opponent was crucial, and it piqued his curiosity. "If it's someone capable of challenging him, then..."

Driven by curiosity, Obito gritted his teeth and made a decision. His figure vanished silently from the scene.

"What's going on here?" Unlike Obito's curiosity, Black Zetsu was consumed by fear. This battle likely indicated one thing—

"He's fighting another Ōtsutsuki." In Black Zetsu's view, only an Ōtsutsuki could cause such destruction. But he couldn't understand—wasn't there already an Ōtsutsuki Minamoto? Why had another Ōtsutsuki appeared? And why were the two fighting each other?

"Why has this world become so insane?" Black Zetsu muttered to himself, grateful that the two combatants seemed to have intentionally moved their battle away from Konohagakure. He didn't know the reason, but he knew this was their chance to survive!

"Time to leave—staying here is not an option." Black Zetsu wanted nothing more than to flee immediately.

"This kind of power..." Near Konohagakure, Jigen's figure appeared quietly. He was panting heavily, surrounded by shattered remnants of his Daikokuten cubes. Clearly, he had relied on Daikokuten's defensive capabilities and his own strength to protect himself. Looking toward the distant flames, the ground beneath his feet was already in ruins. Countless craters and broken terrain, illuminated by the blazing fires, resembled a hellish landscape.

"Damn that guy, and damn this body..." Jigen cursed under his breath, not only at Kitagawa Minamoto but also at his own vessel! If not for the limitations of his vessel, if not for being dragged down by it, he wouldn't be in such a pitiful state. He felt as though he was nearing the limit of what his body could endure. Now, he faced only two choices.

"Return to the Ten-Tails' dimension to absorb its power and stabilize my body..." Stabilizing his body would allow Jigen to continue surviving, as he had done for thousands of years. But if he left, Kitagawa Minamoto would undoubtedly kill those two "descendants of Kaguya."

"Or gamble everything and capture those two 'descendants of Kaguya'!" This option carried immense risk. If he failed and was forced to resurrect fully, he would have only a day or two to live—barely enough time to accomplish anything. Most likely, he'd end up with another vessel as weak as Jigen.

Over the years, he had tried countless times with poor results.

"But no matter how bad it gets, how is it any worse than now? I might as well seize this opportunity!"

Gritting his teeth, Jigen made his decision. The opportunity was right before him, and he would rather gamble everything. After all, as an Ōtsutsuki, he could always resurrect. At worst, it would mean another thousand years of waiting!

Buzz—

In an instant, he rushed madly toward the two "descendants of Kaguya." He hadn't expected Kitagawa Minamoto to attack without hesitation. Previously, when he saved these two, he hadn't had the chance to implant a "Karma" or send them into the Ten-Tails' dimension. Thus, during the battle, he had deliberately avoided their location, fearing they'd be caught in the crossfire.

"Now, it's time for you to 'repay' me!" Jigen roared internally, focused solely on capturing the two. Although he lacked the Byakugan due to his incomplete resurrection, his sensory abilities were still impeccable. Through his senses, he instantly locked onto the two targets, and the power of space began to manifest around him!

As space twisted, he appeared before the two in an instant. But at the same time, an unknown force locked onto him!

"This is..." The force pulled at his body, causing him to lose spatial awareness almost instantly. His senses seemed to invert—up, down, left, right, gravity, and repulsion all reversed completely. Meanwhile, he was stunned to find Kitagawa Minamoto waiting for him in mid-air!

"Senior, if you think you can find them, don't you think I can too?" The eerie voice made Jigen's eyes widen in fury. Behind Kitagawa Minamoto, the Truth-Seeking Balls had fully merged. Amid the surging chakra, a golden sword over a thousand meters long had formed in his hand!

"I knew you'd gamble everything, so I prepared in advance. After all, who would pass up such excellent material? Just as I wouldn't pass up a traitor like you."

"A traitor..." Jigen quickly regained control of his body. Even if it lasted only a second, it would be enough to determine the outcome.

"I'll never forget your generosity, Senior. But now, it's time to end this." Without hesitation, Kitagawa Minamoto swung the thousand-meter-long golden sword. An infinite torrent of chakra poured down at that moment!

"Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!"

BOOM—

The roar echoed once again!

The golden sword sliced through the air, triggering explosions that shattered everything in its path like tofu, reducing it to dust and smoke. Jigen's body was cut in two within an instant. The extreme pain spread through his body, penetrating deep into his soul.

At that moment, painful memories surged in his mind. A thousand years ago, he had been ambushed by Kaguya and had also been sliced in half...
