"What are you doing here?"
In the sky, Kitagawa Minamoto was observing the Ten-Tails within the space when Kaguya couldn't help but ask curiously.
She couldn't see what Kitagawa Minamoto was seeing, but she had her own concerns.
"The entire ninja world is already in chaos, and those three guys could come out at any moment. Why are you still here doing nothing?"
"Don't worry, my Divine Tree clone is keeping them company. Their every move cannot escape my sight."
Kitagawa Minamoto chuckled at her words. Then he raised a hand, and an eerie chakra began to overflow from his palm.
"Right now, we can't push them too hard. After all, they still have a Ten-Tails. Besides, Isshiki seems to have some things worth taking."
"Isshiki..."
When Kaguya heard the name, she immediately understood what Kitagawa Minamoto was thinking.
This guy planned to completely empty Isshiki's stash, leaving him with absolutely nothing!
Such actions might seem devoid of morality, but then again—Ōtsutsuki didn't really operate on morals. They only adhered to the rules of their clan!
Kitagawa Minamoto had already shredded those rules to pieces, even driving others to madness.
To him, rules were nothing but lies, and even Kaguya found herself at a loss dealing with him.
"Forget it. You've stopped caring about these messy things anyway. But even if you want to take it, it won't be easy. Isshiki's space is very well sealed."
"It is indeed sealed tightly, but don't forget—I've extracted his 'Karma'."
Kitagawa Minamoto's face broke into a smile. The black chakra in his palm flickered incessantly, and the space around them began to tear.
"I must admit, these 'Karma' marks are truly remarkable. Not only can they resurrect their owners, but they also serve others well."
"Convenient for you, to steal their information?"
"Not just that. They also provide pure energy, allowing me or the Divine Tree to grow stronger."
"..."
Watching Kitagawa Minamoto tear through space, Kaguya didn't feel like saying much.
Although he seemed amicable now, she hadn't forgotten how terrifying he could be when enraged.
Even now, she worried about what horrors this Ōtsutsuki, raised under Hagoromo's influence, might unleash!
"I hope it doesn't fall on me, or else..."
Kaguya felt certain that if she ended up in his hands, it would be over for her—even Hagoromo wouldn't be able to save her!
"It's open."
As she pondered, Kitagawa Minamoto's voice rang out again. Ahead of them, the space seemed to fold and pixelate, then tear apart.
From within the space, a terrifying aura spread outward, accompanied by deafening roars echoing within.
Roar—
The intense roaring seemed to distort the space, making everything around them appear warped. Yet strangely, none of it spilled outward.
"Tch, did you really think I wouldn't prepare for this? Trying to let others discover you?"
Kitagawa Minamoto raised an eyebrow, smiling disdainfully. Meanwhile, Kaguya's eyes widened.
"You actually found it? This is Isshiki's Ten-Tails?!"
"That's right, but you'll need to change your phrasing."
Kitagawa Minamoto leaped forward, instantly entering the space. Behind him, the shadowy rift closed.
Floating in the air, he looked down at the massive beast below him. This creature was far more visually appealing than the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
Its body didn't resemble withered wood or decayed skin, and it was even more impressive than the Ten-Tails Kitagawa Minamoto already possessed. Its enormous Rinnegan eyes were wide open, and it stared nervously at Kitagawa Minamoto, its body radiating a chilling chakra.
"Now, it's no longer Isshiki's Ten-Tails. It's mine!"
Roar—
But before he finished speaking, the Ten-Tails let out a deafening roar. It stood up instantly, its massive fist swinging directly at Kitagawa Minamoto.
Even though it was a simple attack, with its immense size and seemingly endless chakra, everything about it felt terrifying!
"Tch, is this how you greet your new master?"
Kitagawa Minamoto snorted softly. In an instant, a dazzling golden light flashed—a blade-like brilliance striking the Ten-Tails heavily!
Roar—
The sheer ferocity of the strike made the Ten-Tails roar again. A deep gash appeared on its body, causing it to stagger.
Its tail whipped through the air, seeking balance, before it crashed heavily onto the ground, leaving deep claw marks in its wake.
In the Rinnegan of the Ten-Tails, fear grew increasingly apparent. When it lowered its gaze, it noticed one of its arms had been severed.
"How strange. Tailed Beasts can develop their own intelligence, but the Ten-Tails doesn't seem to have any. It's just a creature driven by instinct. Why is that?"
Kitagawa Minamoto asked curiously, amused by the sight.
"That's a question I don't have an answer to either."
Kaguya furrowed her brows at his words. She'd never really considered it before.
After all, while the Ten-Tails was dangerous, to the Ōtsutsuki, it was nothing more than a "pet."
They never cared about what their "pets" thought, especially when these "pets" were used to cultivate Divine Trees and could even devour Ōtsutsuki themselves.
These creatures were both dangerous and terrifying, but also a source of immense energy.
"But, are you really capable of handling it?"
"Are you underestimating me?"
Kitagawa Minamoto raised an eyebrow at her question. At that moment, the Ten-Tails roared to the heavens, a red-and-black chakra sphere forming instantly!
As the sphere grew larger, a chilling aura emerged—purely destructive energy meant to annihilate everything.
"A Ten-Tails Tailed Beast Bomb?"
Kitagawa Minamoto raised his cold gaze, a disdainful smile playing on his lips.
"My Divine Tree Source can use this move too. I know its exact power, so using it against me is pointless. Now then..."
Before he finished speaking, he began to channel his chakra furiously. The golden sword in his hand grew longer and longer.
In the blink of an eye, the massive golden blade extended over a thousand meters!
"Since you're being so impolite, I won't hold back either. I think my Divine Tree will enjoy your flavor."
Divine: Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!
Without hesitation, Kitagawa Minamoto swung the massive sword at the Ten-Tails.
Roar—
The Ten-Tails roared in fury, launching its colossal Tailed Beast Bomb.
As the bomb traveled, the space trembled, and the ground beneath it was torn apart, leaving a deep fissure in its wake.
In an instant, the bomb collided with Kitagawa Minamoto's golden sword.
Boom—
A series of explosions erupted, the entire space transforming into chaos.
The terrifying energy tore through the ground, disrupting the space itself. Layer upon layer of black holes appeared, as if the entire domain was about to collapse.
Yet Kitagawa Minamoto remained floating in the sky, unaffected by the energy storm. Meanwhile, Isshiki's Ten-Tails retreated frantically, its body covered in wounds but still brimming with vitality.
"It seems the Ten-Tails isn't so easy to deal with after all."
Kaguya murmured softly.
"Why not summon your own Ten-Tails? That would make it easier to handle."
"No need. Rather than summoning it, the key is to throw it into my space."
Kitagawa Minamoto shook his head slightly. With a gentle wave, the thousand-meter golden sword vanished, making it seem as though he was about to stop.
"What are you doing?"
Kaguya was puzzled, but Kitagawa Minamoto just chuckled, his gaze already fixed on something in the distance.
"Is it there? That power..."
In the moment when this space was being shredded, he clearly sensed that in the deepest part of this realm, something terrifying was being hidden.
This object had no life force, yet it gave the illusion of containing infinite vitality.
And the power contained within it made even the current Kitagawa Minamoto feel afraid.
"Ōtsutsuki Shibai's remains?"
Kitagawa Minamoto murmured, but his face lit up with a radiant smile.
This was precisely why he had come here—these were the nutrients for his Ascension Stairway!
"What's wrong? Are you still going to deal with this Ten-Tails or not?"
Kaguya frowned, seeing Kitagawa Minamoto silent.
She was eager for him to take this Ten-Tails away. With sufficient energy, she would be safe.
"Of course I will. But let me ask you something—do you know about 'Ōtsutsuki Shibai'?"
Kitagawa Minamoto didn't rush, instead asking with curiosity. The question made Kaguya's eyes widen.
"You know about him? He's a legendary figure who became the God of the Ōtsutsuki. You—"
"Perhaps you'll get to meet him someday."
Kitagawa Minamoto returned his gaze to the roaring Ten-Tails, then spoke calmly.
"But before that, you should also become nourishment for my Divine Tree..."
As his words rang out, space and time seemed to distort. Countless golden flashes began to appear.
Roar—
The Ten-Tails roared in anger, but the golden light had already covered its entire body. The fierce power spread and permeated throughout its form!
In the blink of an eye, its body was covered in wounds. Its limbs were severed in that moment, and its aura began to weaken.
Its massive Rinnegan eye stared fixedly at the figure in the sky, fear evident in its gaze. But all that greeted it was Kitagawa Minamoto's cold voice.
"Beast!"
"Ah! Damn it!"
Meanwhile, in the outside world, Isshiki, who had been watching Obito and the others being pummeled by "Kitagawa Minamoto," suddenly let out an angry roar.
His eyes were filled with killing intent, his fists clenched tightly. His teeth-grinding rage even frightened Momoshiki and Urashiki.
"Hey, what's wrong with you?"
Momoshiki raised an eyebrow, asking with confusion. Urashiki was equally curious.
"Yeah, why are you going crazy?"
"It's Ōtsutsuki Isshiki!"
Isshiki gritted his teeth in hatred, his jaw clenched as he spoke in fury.
"He broke into my 'Heavenly Sanctum'! That damn bastard!"
"What? Breaking into the 'Heavenly Sanctum'?"
Momoshiki was stunned by these words, and Urashiki's face showed disbelief.
"That's impossible. The 'Heavenly Sanctum' is a product of the Kekkei Mōra. Though Isshiki is special, he doesn't possess Kekkei Mōra. Surely..."
Urashiki couldn't continue. Momoshiki's eyes widened too.
In their memories, though Isshiki was ridiculously strong, he hadn't yet formed a Kekkei Mōra.
After all, for any Ōtsutsuki to form a Kekkei Mōra required countless years and numerous "pills."
While it might not significantly affect combat power, it represented an elevation in the level of life itself—perhaps even more valuable than increasing battle strength.
Yet, in such a short time, Isshiki had already...
At this moment, Momoshiki and Urashiki fell silent. The unusual gleam in their eyes became even more pronounced.
Even Isshiki snapped back to reality, suddenly realizing something!
"The effects of the 'Ascension Stairway' are better than imagined!"
"Those old fools in the clan must have hidden vast amounts of information. They've probably done this before!"
With this realization, the three no longer scrutinized each other. Instead, they all raised their heads to look at the sky.
In that moment, their gazes seemed capable of piercing through the cosmos, landing on the homeland of the Ōtsutsuki...
