Time flows like a river.
As Kitagawa Minamoto restored the moon in the sky, seemingly reversing its origins, the apocalyptic war finally came to an end.
The impact of this battle on the Ninja World was immense—no one would ever forget its brutality.
Similarly, no one would forget the significance of this battle, and...
"Lord Minamoto's mercy and the Sage of Six Paths'... foresight!"
I shined my flashlight on the warrior statue before me as I spoke to Angel and Frank behind me.
"Because we thought we had failed," Ling Ming admitted directly, having just awakened and unable to control her thoughts.
"You're the one with PMS!" Shu Qing's anger flared up involuntarily after being teased by Yun Xuan.
Zhao Liuru's eyes widened as she anticipated the drama about to unfold. Suddenly, she realized something was wrong—Guo Cai had been facing Wang Tian, but abruptly turned toward her instead.
A sky full of brilliant stars descended like a meteor shower. The meteors weren't chaotic but naturally arranged according to some cosmic pattern, forming what looked like a giant sword falling from the heavens.
For some reason, Yun Xuan felt that Yin Xue appeared much more delicate today. Her every smile and gesture seemed so gentle it could melt a person's heart.
Zhao Liuru glanced at Lin Gaoyuan. He was exactly the type of uneducated rich kid who had created countless problems in the company. She wasn't joking—this was absolutely true.
"Dog, what are you talking about? What murals? What stone figures? What kind of nonsense is this?" Fat Three looked at me with complete bewilderment as he questioned me.
The great beast twisted its body, crushing the void. It flung the figure from the painting away. Though uninjured, having an ant-like creature ride on its back and strike at will was infuriating and humiliating, igniting a raging fire in its chest.
Warriors at the Daluo Zhenxian realm could comprehend the laws of heaven and earth, possessing mighty abilities to move mountains, drain seas, and shatter stars with a single punch.
Xu Ya watched as the fourth row began. Once in the game, she discovered that Lin Yi hadn't chosen to match with teammates.
Spring had just begun, and many villagers were returning to prepare for spring plowing. As the saying goes, "The year's plan starts in spring"—there could be no delay in planting crops.
A giant toad, entirely blue-green with bumps covering its back, jumped to the side of the Second Elder.
After the Minister of Justice's wife introduced herself, she exchanged a few auspicious words with Ye Yutong before smiling and withdrawing.
In the midst of the chaotic battle, San Tian was helped by guards onto a warhorse as he prepared to flee. He had barely escaped from the horse pen when, before the horse could gain speed...
Ye Yutong nodded with satisfaction. Though she didn't care about these small items, she had no intention of letting people become presumptuous.
Looking at the land deeds, house deeds, silver, and various fabrics and silks on the table, Old Lin felt a headache coming on. After some thought, he decided to let Madam Wu put everything away for now. In a few days, Yuan Qiu would return, and they could see how he wanted to arrange things.
However, these Japanese tanks, fearing destruction, merely circled at a distance, posing no significant threat to our forces.
Because after passing through the wormhole with its altered time flow, these two supply ships would be like the humans who disappeared for hundreds of years before returning—they wouldn't feel the passage of time.
Ye Xuan was quite satisfied with his journey through the "Battle Through the Heavens" universe. During his time there, he had improved considerably and learned many secret techniques, including spatial and soul techniques, thoroughly addressing his previous weaknesses.
The reason this assessment involved spirit bodies, apart from his own evolution as a Shenmen, likely had something to do with this girl's mental abilities. Additionally, her identity in this life as a Taoist nun created a certain connection—she was essentially playing her natural role.
Qin Yuwan answered the call. It was Qin Zhengyang's voice, saying he had something urgent to discuss with Qin Yuwan and that he shouldn't alert anyone else.
He knew he was outmatched. No matter how confident he was or what techniques he had, facing an emperor-level spirit weapon and a Saint Heart who had condensed the Ten Thousand Martial Arts into a single sword—he stood no chance.
Hehe... Everyone glanced sideways at Da Xu. Is your name, Liu Xu, really more poetic than his?
Lan Yun straightened her clothes and silently observed everything, her heart sinking. She could now be certain that the person wasn't a servant from the ship. Anyone who dared to strike Fei Sanquan was either an enemy of the Fei family or a reckless bandit.
Some bandits had still harbored hope, but seeing Yu Yan's actions, they finally gave up. Yu Yan proceeded according to his selection criteria, not minding the trouble of questioning each one. Those who had committed unforgivable crimes were all executed, while those with understandable circumstances were spared.
Yu Yan certainly didn't kill those who, out of excessive compassion, foolishly tried to save He Wushui. He simply recalled Chen Jiu's parting instructions not to seek revenge against He Wushui. He had always felt that Chen Jiu wouldn't say such things without reason, and now it seemed his words were proven true.
Seeing this, the many monarchs and sect leaders stared with wide eyes at the sky above, as if they had seen a ghost.
Ultron hadn't destroyed JARVIS. JARVIS had merely been shattered, scattered across various parts of the internet.
The wind howled across the plains as Hong Jun painfully closed his eyes. Fortunately, the Demon had long departed; otherwise, upon learning this truth, demonic energy would have flooded the world beyond control. The truth was so cruel that it shocked and left him more helpless than when he had discovered his parents' deaths.
Cold Moon silently heightened her vigilance, knowing there would be mortal danger ahead. But not going would be equally dangerous, so she didn't hesitate and followed behind him.
Lu Xu had heard from Hong Jun that Qiu Yongsi's mission was to capture Xie Yu and seal it back in the tower.
"You've been unconscious for over half a month. How are you feeling?" Du Lianyi asked. Nan Kongqian immediately nodded, "Thank you, Master. I don't feel any discomfort, but I don't understand why... I'm at Qilin Gate...?" He frowned in confusion, his tone still filled with disbelief.
It seems that in the future, I'll have to face these endless assassination attempts. What's most frustrating is that they know everything about me, while I haven't even figured out their background. Before them, I'm like a transparent person—this feeling is truly awful.
Final Thoughts
At this point, the main storyline has officially concluded.
There aren't many loose threads left in the plot, and I want to take this moment to thank all the readers who have been following along, as well as those who subscribed.
It's been about two or three years since I last wrote anything—partly due to work, and partly because my mindset collapsed after two consecutive failures.
If it weren't for Nongshen and the others (from Nongmojiaoshu) constantly encouraging me to give it another shot, this book might not have been written at all. So, once again, thank you!
The success of this book has been somewhat unexpected. When I returned, I didn't even dare approach my old editor. After those two failures, I had been "playing dead" for two years, and I felt like my editor had given up on me.
So, I switched to a new editor, Canaan, and I'm grateful for Canaan's suggestions and the support of all the readers. Without it, I wouldn't have made it this far.
This book currently averages over 7,000 subscriptions, and at its peak, it reached close to 8,000.
Unfortunately, after two years without writing, my ability to control the plot has weakened, and I didn't plan for this book to be long.
As a result, it ended after about 1 million words. Otherwise, maybe I could have aimed for the green badge (laugh, just dreaming here).
Of course, this book isn't without its flaws.
From the beginning, I had envisioned the protagonist as both a savior and a destroyer.
That's why I included "Aizen" references throughout the story—to set the stage for later developments.
Additionally, I never intended to focus on Danzo. After all, with the Ōtsutsuki involved, the scapegoat couldn't be a mere mortal like Danzo. So, I decided early on to focus on the Sage of Six Paths.
This idea was inspired by a friend of mine ("I'm Really Desperate"), whose book some of you may have read.
However, when it came to portraying the protagonist as the ultimate villain, it seems I might have gone a bit overboard.
I won't deny that I might not have written it well, or that my ideas didn't resonate with the readers. That's my fault, and I admit it honestly. -.-
After all, following the "scheming Sage of Six Paths" approach, the Ninja World needed to "experience pain," similar to Nagato's philosophy, to truly face future challenges seriously.
Otherwise, it would likely return to superficial harmony—Naruto becoming a corporate drone, Sasuke wandering aimlessly...
The later chapters did explain this, but perhaps my writing skills weren't up to par. Fortunately, it's all over now!
As for what comes next, I might write some short side stories.
The Ōtsutsuki "Battle Royale" is inevitable, and the "plow" is in the protagonist's hands, with plenty of potential uses.
Here are some ideas I have for side stories:
Native Sasuke uses the "plow" to end up in this Ninja World...Naruto and the others travel to the native world, thinking it's an alternate timeline without Kitagawa Minamoto.Kitagawa Minamoto completes his final mission...
These are just some initial thoughts. Of course, I might succumb to laziness and focus on brainstorming a new book instead.
Anyway, thank you all!
(End of Chapter)
