Chapter 105 - Chapter 105: Another Saiyan

Jaco's attitude toward Saiyans had completely transformed, dissolving the previous tension. With Raditz's assistance, all the criminals were loaded onto the large spacecraft.

Raditz assigned some of his soldiers to escort the prisoners and accompany Jaco back to Galactic Patrol Headquarters, ensuring they'd encounter no trouble along the way. This comprehensive service impressed Jaco immensely, and he immediately promised to repay Raditz's kindness in the future.

Just as Jaco was about to board his ship, Raditz held him back.

"I have a question for you."

"If I know the answer, just ask."

"Do you know the location of Abo and Kado? The Galactic Patrol must have records on them," Raditz inquired.

These two were notorious criminals. Though the Galactic Patrol lacked the strength to confront them directly, they should have gathered substantial intelligence about their activities.

Upon hearing these names, Jaco immediately responded: "There's information about them at Patrol Headquarters, but my clearance level..." He scratched his head awkwardly, leaving the sentence unfinished.

As a low-ranking patrolman with consistently poor performance evaluations, his security clearance was predictably minimal.

"You've accomplished something significant today. There's bound to be a reward, right? The Galactic King will surely promote you. When that happens, you could look into Abo and Kado for me." Raditz walked him through the plan, slipping him a communications device. "Use this to contact me when you have news."

Since Raditz had helped him capture so many criminals, Jaco found it difficult to refuse the request. Besides, he thought, if Abo and Kado were actually apprehended, wouldn't that be another impressive achievement for his record?

"Very well, I'll contact you as soon as I learn anything," Jaco finally agreed.

He stepped into his spacecraft and waved goodbye to everyone. The shield slowly descended and locked into place before flames erupted from the thrusters, sending the ship soaring skyward. The massive battleship following Jaco's vessel also ascended rapidly, carrying dozens of prisoners to Galactic Patrol Headquarters.

Raditz instructed his forces to return to their stations and stand by for further orders. He commended them for their excellent performance during the mission. In the past, Frieza had rarely praised his subordinates. These few words of recognition made thousands of fighters ecstatic—their spirits would remain elevated for hours.

The previously agitated Planet Yardrat returned to tranquility, this small episode in its history concluding smoothly.

...

On the floating island, in Master Pybara's vast courtyard, two figures flickered and jumped constantly, their movements almost too fast to follow.

"HAH!"

A shout rang through the air as Raditz instantly appeared behind Pybara.

He swung his arm in a horizontal slash, like a blade cutting through wind, but Pybara simply clasped his hands behind his back and teleported to Raditz's side with a soft "whoosh."

Raditz's eyes couldn't track the speed of Pybara's teleportation, so he quickly extended two fingers to his forehead and performed his own Instant Transmission.

He flashed behind Pybara, but the master immediately shifted to his side again.

No matter how many times Raditz teleported, Pybara remained one step ahead!

Raditz was astounded by the gap in their abilities. With the same technique, they showed vastly different mastery. If Pybara had been a powerful enemy, Raditz would likely have been defeated instantly.

Yet Pybara was even more shocked than his student. He had practiced for decades to reach this level of proficiency, while Raditz had trained for less than three months and could already use the technique fluidly—a true prodigy. At this rate, he suspected Raditz might surpass him soon.

Both temporarily halted their movements, carefully sensing each other's energy.

Raditz placed his fingers on his forehead, not daring to act hastily.

Pybara made his move. His teleportation was exceptionally subtle—there was no obvious positioning of his body, yet in an instant, he appeared behind Raditz.

This time, Raditz anticipated Pybara's teleportation, having paid close attention.

With a focused thought, he also employed Instant Transmission. But Pybara seemed to have expected this long ago, a small smile forming at the corner of his mouth.

"Whoosh!"

The two disappeared almost simultaneously, with Pybara's teleportation matching Raditz's speed perfectly!

"What?" Something unexpected happened! Pybara was startled as he suddenly felt his body constrained by an invisible force—his movement encountering a barrier that completely immobilized him!

Psychokinesis—Raditz's other skill.

Raditz had managed to use Instant Transmission while simultaneously activating his psychokinetic powers—a dual-technique application. Pybara realized he couldn't even accomplish such a feat himself.

The teleportation trap had been reversed, leaving Pybara helpless.

"You win. I never expected you could use both techniques together. Truly remarkable." Pybara nodded with genuine praise, expressing deep satisfaction with his disciple.

"It was just a fortunate coincidence," Raditz said modestly.

Using two techniques simultaneously had placed enormous strain on his body. Especially to restrict Pybara's teleportation, he had needed to exert his psychokinetic abilities to their absolute limit. Calling it a "coincidence" wasn't an exaggeration.

"That concludes today's competition. I have nothing more to teach you. To advance further with these skills, you need only practice diligently. Raditz, I officially declare your training complete."

"Master Pybara, thank you for your guidance."

"Hahaha, your success comes from your own hard work. By the way, your tail... are you certain you don't want it removed?" Pybara glanced at the long, furry tail behind Raditz with slight unease.

He could perceive that the tail seemed to carry the source of Saiyan rage, containing a reservoir of primal power. Despite purging the violent aura from Raditz's body, the tail remained a lingering concern.

Raditz himself wasn't sure what had happened. During his meditation practice, his tail had suddenly regrown.

The tail was not only a symbol of Saiyan identity but also the reason they were mockingly called "wild monkeys." Yet having a tail wasn't necessarily detrimental. After careful consideration, Raditz had decided to keep it for now. The violence in Saiyan nature stemmed from their blood and genes, not merely from their tails. Furthermore, the appendage might prove useful in critical situations.

"I'll keep it for now. I can remove it myself if necessary," Raditz said with a dismissive wave.

At that moment, a sudden vibration came from his communications device: "beep, beep, beep." He retrieved it and discovered a signal from a distant galaxy. Raditz quickly placed the device to his ear and connected to the transmission.

"Mr. Raditz? This is Jaco. After considerable effort, I've located information about Abo and Kado. They're hiding on Planet Phaeda in a remote star system. That galaxy contains a massive arms trading market, and those two are the figures behind it all."

"I understand. Thank you for your hard work. Can you send me the coordinates?"

"No problem. Additionally, Mr. Raditz, I discovered another surviving Saiyan in that galaxy. He appears to be fleeing from Abo and Kado."

"Another Saiyan... it must be him." Raditz's eyes lit up with recognition.
