Chapter 238 - Chapter 238: Unlikely Allies

Flying in the distance were No. 17, No. 18, and No. 16.

After being released by Raditz, they had lived in seclusion in a certain small town, enjoying peaceful days. Who would have thought that Earth would suffer such devastation on this day—metal creatures covering the sky while planet-like massive objects bit by bit "devoured" the Earth. No. 16 detected numerous powerful forces coming together, like a festival of destruction.

Among them were their enemies Raditz and Goku.

No. 17 made an immediate decision—go and investigate!

So the three of them traveled all the way to where the fierce battle was taking place, crossing half the Earth to fly to the central battlefield.

The three were stunned by the scene before them—not only the gloomy sky and swirling black space above their heads, but also the densely packed, sand-like Metal Coolers and the golden Saiyans battling them.

Each of their attacks was destructive. It was no exaggeration to say that half of Earth would be destroyed in their hands.

"Hey, look over there!" No. 18's eyes suddenly widened, showing a frightened expression.

No. 17 looked in that direction, his expression changing. "That old man! Isn't he dead?" He turned to look at No. 16.

"He's not Dr. Gero—he's another life form," No. 16 said calmly. "The energy signature within him is similar to the planet that's devouring Earth. Perhaps they're the same entity."

"He wants to destroy Earth?"

"More than that. According to this energy body's development pattern, it will likely swallow the entire universe." Even No. 16 had difficulty calculating how far Boundless would evolve.

At that moment, No. 18 discovered something extraordinary.

"That guy—isn't he the one who lost to us a few days ago?" She pointed at Trunks, somewhat surprised, because she saw him slicing through Metal Coolers with his sword as easily as cutting tofu.

On their way here, they had also destroyed a few Metal Coolers. Although they hadn't used full strength, they hadn't seemed as effortless as Trunks!

No. 16 said at the right moment: "His energy has been greatly enhanced. Now he surpasses me."

No. 17 and No. 18 were stunned.

"Damn it! It's all disgusting stuff." No. 17 gritted his teeth and let out a helpless smile. From a few days ago, his self-confidence had been gradually eroded by Raditz, and now No. 16 was telling him about yet another powerful opponent, one after another.

It had only been a few days—had they improved so rapidly?

"Then... No. 16, what are you going to do?"

"We're being watched."

"Huh?" No. 18 suddenly frowned, looked around, and found that those wandering Metal Coolers were gathering toward them.

The Metal Coolers spotted the three people observing from the sky, so naturally they wouldn't let them go. Their orders were to kill everyone. Although the androids had no ki signature, they were still spotted visually. Three brand-new Metal Coolers flew toward them first at extreme speed, causing winds to swirl.

No. 17 snorted coldly with disdain: "It seems we're being treated like easy targets." He took a fighting stance, anger in his eyes. "These bastards!"

At the same time, No. 16 also moved forward, ready to fight.

The Metal Coolers suddenly accelerated, faint blue auras bursting from their palms as they waved a series of slashing energy attacks through the air that split the void. But the androids weren't afraid at all—they shouted loudly and rushed toward Cooler's attacks.

The energy slashes shattered instantly against their bodies, transforming into brilliant afterglows. The androids stood firm and punched, their cold eyes flashing before the Metal Coolers as tremendous force burst out, blasting Cooler to the ground!

"Pathetic!" No. 17 commented coldly.

No. 16 wasn't so relieved. He scanned his surroundings with a calm expression: "Their energy supply is very strong, and it seems it won't be cut off."

"That's just perfect—we also have eternal energy!"

As he spoke, No. 17 took the initiative to attack the approaching Metal Coolers, an energy bomb swirling in one hand to repel them. His figure shuttled through like a gust of wind.

From a distance, Raditz watched, and his smile grew stronger. Who said Metal Coolers could bring despair? They had overwhelming power, an immortal Piccolo, and androids No. 17 and No. 18 with infinite energy. Although they had different positions and purposes, they all now stood opposite to Boundless!

Where was the despair? This would be explosive!

On the other hand, Boundless's expression was calm, but his eyes showed a hint of panic.

...

Although a large number of Metal Coolers were focused on the top fighters, many still wandered outside. Most of the Saiyans were maintaining one-on-one victories in fierce battles with Metal Coolers. If they encountered sieges, they would deal with them together, maintaining the upper hand through cooperation.

But once isolated, it became dangerous.

Relying on being a Super Saiyan, Pepara went on a rampage and entered a Metal Cooler blockade. There weren't many—only four—but even so, she still couldn't break out of the encirclement with her strength.

She could use Instant Transmission, and so could the Metal Coolers. Collisions between them in space often ended in ties. It was impossible to escape without help. But the continuous battle had already made her feel exhausted. She had wasted too much energy bombarding at the beginning, so now she could only persevere.

"Damn metal toys, it's not so easy to trap me!" Pepara took a breath, her body wrapped in energy like a ball, exuding scorching heat as she planned to use this energy layer to fight forcefully.

The Coolers were startled by her sudden energy burst, then raised their fingers, scattering death beams! The death beams' advantage lay in their speed, penetrating from all angles, weaving a net of heaven and earth!

Pepara resisted part of it with her energy layer and charged toward them. The fiery energy, like a small sun, seemed to melt everything, but the Coolers quickly gathered together and released ki attacks against Pepara.

The two forces confronted each other, and the power gathered by the Coolers gradually overwhelmed Pepara!

"Ahhhhhhh..." Pepara's veins bulged, sweat constantly streaming from her face, her arms numb as her strength reached its limit.

Just as she was about to fail, several disc-shaped light wheels flew from the sky, spinning in curves before finally cutting through the metal bodies!

Destructo Disc—one of Krillin's special techniques.

Immediately, the Metal Coolers were chopped down to the ground, and Krillin flew down, picked up Pepara, and left.

"Hurry up and rejoin everyone!"

"You..." Pepara was suddenly speechless. In her eyes, Krillin was weak and short—usually the object of her jokes. But at the critical moment, it was Krillin who saved her.

She turned her head slightly to look at Krillin's face and found it wasn't so annoying—at least it was acceptable.

Pepara, who had always been proud, moved closer to Krillin's side, her chest heaving violently. "Thank you."

As soon as she finished speaking, Metal Coolers appeared to intercept them ahead. There were three of them, blocking Krillin's path forward. Pepara gritted her teeth and was about to fight when a roar came from the side: "Tri-Beam!"

The Tri-Beam piercing through the ruined sky fired at three Coolers in succession, blasting them to a distant location, leaving only light and shadow before Krillin and Pepara. Although the Tri-Beam couldn't hurt the Metal Coolers, it could blow them back!

Tien, whose whole body was glowing red with the Kaio-ken eruption, crossed his hands from a distance and shouted at Krillin: "Go join Tarble! I have Nappa on my side!"

"Got it!" Krillin gave a thumbs up.

Although the Earthlings' fighting power wasn't as good as various monsters, they were far superior in martial arts techniques and coordination. Pepara was shocked.

Without Metal Cooler obstruction, Pepara and Krillin used Instant Transmission and successfully reunited with their companions.

At that moment, Raditz's voice reached everyone's mind—the location of Big Gete Star's internal chip had been determined!
