This shocking revelation stunned not only Frieza and his forces, but Raditz and Trunks as well. The timelines were completely inconsistent with known history. Clearly, the androids should have appeared three years later, with Goku still needing several hours to arrive at the battlefield.
Could it be that Towa had somehow merged multiple timelines together? That would explain why they hadn't sensed any powerful warriors earlier—because all the living fighters had been systematically exterminated by the androids. This grim reality apparently included Gohan and even the young Trunks who hadn't yet grown to maturity. This world was truly without hope, not a single defender left alive.
Frieza remained unaware of these implications. He stared at Android 17 with growing suspicion and barked a single command: "Attack!"
He wanted to personally verify their claimed strength. Regardless of whether they had actually defeated Son Goku, these beings were clearly dangerous. Following his imperial order, the alien soldiers rushed forward in formation, energy cannons mounted on their arms firing brilliant white beams.
The androids' power levels far exceeded anyone's imagination. The concentrated energy bombardment struck their bodies like gentle scratches—completely ineffective.
"Die, you freaks..." One alien warrior charged directly at Android 18, but in the next instant, his vision blurred and the figure before him vanished entirely.
Android 18 materialized behind him with a cold sneer, casually slapping his head clean off his shoulders.
The remaining cosmic soldiers collapsed one by one within three seconds, transforming the pristine battlefield into a corpse-littered wasteland. Cool wind carried the stench of death through Frieza's growing resentment.
"You possess some skill, managing to eliminate my subordinates so efficiently. Unfortunately, your actions have thoroughly enraged me! Artificial humans, is it? Hehehehe, I'll torture each of you until you beg for death," Frieza laughed with vicious anticipation.
King Cold stroked his chin thoughtfully, still maintaining his arrogant smile. In his estimation, these artificial beings had learned some impressive techniques at best, but defeating a few worthless soldiers with combat powers of two or three thousand wasn't genuinely impressive. Since the Cold family had conquered the universe, they had never encountered a truly worthy opponent. Even the legendary Super Saiyan that Frieza constantly mentioned might not warrant King Cold's serious attention.
Arrogance had always defined the Cold family's approach—and of course, they possessed the power to back their confidence.
"Frieza, dispose of them quickly."
"Of course, Father. I can annihilate all of them in precisely ten seconds," Frieza declared with supreme confidence, spreading his arms in his characteristic imperial pose.
Raditz recognized the familiar stance—elegant and noble, radiating dominance and intimidation. Unfortunately, this time the tyrant was about to face humiliation.
Sure enough, the moment Frieza struck his dramatic pose, Android 17 rushed forward. His speed exceeded Frieza's ability to track, delivering a devastating punch to the emperor's face with enough force to nearly snap his neck.
King Cold watched in horror as a figure went flying through the air with a sharp whoosh, smashing through several layers of solid rock. It was Frieza who had been sent flying—impossible! Cold swallowed hard, his mind reeling with disbelief. Looking back at Android 17, the artificial being appeared relaxed and almost bored: "I haven't even used my real strength yet, and you can't handle basic attacks. I thought this might be entertaining. You can handle the rest."
Having lost all interest in Frieza, 17 walked casually to a nearby boulder to rest and observe.
Other androids took over from 17 and advanced toward King Cold with predatory intent.
"Hey, wait, you can't possibly—" King Cold's protest was cut short as Android 18 drove her fist into his abdomen with one hand still casually tucked in her pocket. The terrifying force vibrated through King Cold's body like a devastating earthquake!
In the next instant, Androids 13 and 14 took over from 18, each delivering punishing strikes—punches and kicks in endless succession. Their terrible attacks vented mercilessly on King Cold's body as he grew progressively weaker, until only saliva mixed with blood remained.
Ten seconds later, King Cold lay paralyzed on the ground in a twisted, deformed posture like crushed clay, already dead.
Android 16 observed with clinical precision: "Exactly ten seconds."
The more rational the assessment, the more infuriating it became. Frieza emerged from the shattered rocks, his back and face burning with pain—though the most agonizing wound was to his pride.
Blood dripped from Frieza's mouth as anger and panic intertwined, his entire body trembling with heat. He had promised to end the battle in ten seconds, but now he was being eliminated instead?! The androids showed no mercy. Unknown models rushed toward Frieza, their forms flickering as they appeared beside him. One after another, violent attacks nearly pulverized the tyrant's reconstructed body.
So fast... so strong!
This thought barely crossed Frieza's mind before his vision went dark and consciousness slipped into brief stupor. If given another chance, he would never set foot on Earth again.
As phantom figures flashed past his failing sight, he could only hear the whistling of wind, unable to track their movements.
"End this farce," someone declared coldly. Then an explosive punch erupted, the iron fist striking Frieza's head and shattering his skull like a detonated bomb.
BANG! Blood splattered and exploded, falling to the ground like crimson rain.
In the end, the androids had completely annihilated Frieza and King Cold—both tyrants dying ignominiously. Raditz felt somewhat dumbfounded by the swift brutality, but couldn't help feeling surprised that Towa and Mira still hadn't revealed themselves.
Suddenly, Android 16 stopped and whirled toward Raditz and Trunks's position: "Thermal signatures detected!"
The quick-response androids immediately swarmed like predators who had discovered prey, and the positions of both time patrol agents were compromised!
They had been concealed beside a tall rock formation, but the androids approached at tremendous speed. Punches and kicks came in staggered waves, smashing through stone and blasting toward both warriors.
Bang bang bang bang! A series of countless attacks struck Raditz and Trunks with devastating force, but both fighters successfully blocked them.
Androids 13 and 14's fists were caught by Raditz's crossed arms, while 17's leg strike hit his back only to be repelled by his energy field. Two unknown android models rushed his midsection like tofu striking reinforced steel.
On the other side, Trunks parried Android 16's flying punch, deflected kicks from 15 and 19, and caught an unknown android's aerial dive attack.
"You're... human?!" The androids' optical sensors widened, displaying genuine shock.
That Raditz and Trunks were human was astounding enough, but their ability to withstand android attacks seemed impossible.
"Have we been exposed already? Lady Chronoa specifically instructed us not to alert the enemy," Trunks said with a rueful smile.
"It doesn't matter if we're discovered now. We can still draw Towa and Mira out—just using different tactics. Chronoa wanted stealth because she lacks sufficient power for direct confrontation. We're different," Raditz's eyes blazed with sharp intensity. "Since we've been found out, let's take the initiative. Give them ten seconds!"
