A figure descended from the sun itself, orange hair streaming like flames, her aura crackling with barely contained power.
Zangya erupted with overwhelming pressure as she dove toward the battlefield, her battle cry splitting the air. Renso, who had just narrowly escaped Hatchiyack's devastating energy wave, found himself enveloped by an entirely different presence—Zangya's overwhelming ki. The deeper, more refined pressure made his entire body tremble involuntarily, his heart hammering against his ribs.
The other Saiyans fared even worse. Every warrior still standing turned pale, staggering and nearly collapsing under the impact of her explosive entrance. The sheer force of her aura created visible shockwaves that rippled through the atmosphere.
"It's terrifying! Who is that?!" one defender shouted.
"That's Master Raditz's wife!" another answered with awe.
"Master Raditz is already impossibly strong, and his wife possesses such incredible power too! Planet Sadala is saved!"
A mixture of shock and exhilaration swept through the assembled Saiyans as all eyes fixed on Zangya and Hatchiyack, unable to look away from the impending clash.
BOOM!
Zangya's attack hammered into Hatchiyack with devastating force. The mechanical titan hastily raised both massive arms to parry and block, barely managing to deflect her descending elbow strike. The collision point erupted with violent rushing air that spread across the interface between their powers, expanding outward like a raging sea tide. The vast killing intent behind Zangya's assault seemed to split space itself.
Despite the protective barrier Raditz had erected with his psychic powers, Planet Sadala still shook violently from the impact, tremors racing through the ground.
An echoing ring reverberated through Hatchiyack's audio receptors, his entire massive frame shuddering from the exchange. Impossibly, he felt something like splitting pain lance through his mechanical arms—sensations that shouldn't have been possible for his artificial body. After several seconds of struggle, he was forced backward more than a hundred meters.
Zangya remained hovering firmly in the air, completely unmoved from her position. "Renso, rest now. I'll handle this abomination."
Renso swallowed hard and retreated without argument. He understood that this battlefield now belonged to Zangya and Hatchiyack alone. His role was simple: don't become a liability.
"Do you think Zangya can defeat that monster?" Android 18 asked, a note of concern threading through her typically cool voice. She couldn't detect the opponent's energy signature, but judging from its appearance and performance, this wasn't some simple pushover. Moreover, Hatchiyack had sent Renso flying with its opening move and nearly vaporized him with a single energy wave. That alone demonstrated strength that couldn't be underestimated.
"He's certainly powerful, but Zangya and I have trained extensively together," Raditz replied with absolute confidence. "She's currently at least at the level of Super Saiyan 2."
Android 18 needed to understand that Zangya's comprehension ability and growth rate were exceptional, matching anyone in the universe. While Saiyans possessed superior physical advantages and natural talent that allowed their strength to progress at incredible speeds, after Raditz's specialized training regimen, Zangya's power could now be ranked solidly in the second tier among all fighters in the known universe.
"Let me make a wager with you," Raditz said with a slight smirk. "Zangya will win in thirty seconds."
"Thirty seconds?" Android 18's eyebrows rose in surprise.
"That's more than enough time."
After considering for a moment, Android 18 nodded slowly. "Alright, you're on."
Raditz smiled and began counting down with supreme confidence.
The sky rumbled ominously, as if responding to his prediction. Zangya had already launched herself toward Hatchiyack, moving so fast that only rippling distortions remained in the air where she'd been, her figure utterly elusive to normal perception.
Hatchiyack crushed through the cloud layer and phased through space with his own remarkable speed, determined to meet her assault.
BOOM!
Another thunderous impact, and Zangya materialized in everyone's sight—followed immediately by Hatchiyack hurtling backward, falling even faster than Renso had moments before.
"NO!" Hatchiyack's mechanical voice ground out through gritted teeth as he fought to stabilize his massive body. He arrested his descent mid-flight through sheer force of will and immediately counterattacked.
This assault proved even more swift and brutal than before, tremendous power penetrating space itself and trailing dazzling light. Incredible destructive force concentrated in Hatchiyack's enormous fist, the sound of air being pierced clearly audible—like rolling thunder approaching.
But Zangya showed no concern whatsoever. She erupted with a burst of golden energy surrounded by flickering wisps of invisible lightning—silver bolts crackling around her form. With a sudden whoosh, she vanished entirely from Hatchiyack's enhanced optical sensors.
The infinitely powerful blow struck nothing but empty air. Hatchiyack had no time to arrest his momentum and continued rushing forward, carried by his own inertia.
"Over here!" Zangya's voice called from behind. The instant Hatchiyack rotated his massive head, silver lightning had already gathered into a complete circle, entrapping him within its deadly embrace.
Shattered Star Cage.
Zangya's ultimate technique for locking down and paralyzing enemies.
As the silver arcs flickered and danced, waves of extraordinarily potent energy pierced through Hatchiyack's body like electric serpents, paralyzing his systems. His processors couldn't calculate how Zangya had suddenly disappeared and then reappeared—the technique defied his understanding.
But he had no time to analyze the phenomenon. Zangya's follow-up assault had already arrived!
The Saiyans who had witnessed Instant Transmission before weren't particularly surprised, instead erupting into cheers and shouts, barely managing to stabilize themselves against the turbulent shockwaves rolling across the battlefield.
"Twenty!" Raditz continued his countdown while Android 18 stared intently at the unfolding battle, her analytical mind tracking every exchange.
Fifteen seconds remaining...
The air formed violent vortices as turbulent flows surged in chaotic patterns. Hatchiyack was sent flying from east to west, then from west to east, bouncing through space like a pinball in a cosmic machine.
Twelve seconds remaining...
Zangya brought her hand down in a devastating chop that slammed Hatchiyack against Raditz's psychic barrier below. The earth-shattering vibration made all of Sadala tremble once again, buildings swaying from the impact.
Ten seconds remaining...
Hatchiyack finally launched a meaningful counterattack. His accumulated grudge energy erupted completely, forming countless energy storms that intertwined and nearly pierced through the dimensional fabric of reality itself. Simultaneously, his resentment concentrated in his chest cavity, producing a swelling purple halo. His already massive muscles expanded further, bulging with full power output!
Eight seconds remaining...
Zangya and Hatchiyack collided with such force that they tore an actual hole in space, the two opposing powers seemingly endless as they ground against each other in a struggle of pure might.
Five seconds remaining...
Hatchiyack suddenly roared with mechanical fury, purple light gushing from every seam and joint in his construction. He converted all remaining power reserves into a single Grudge Shockwave and fired it directly at Zangya—his final, desperate gambit!
Three seconds!
The air itself trembled with primal fear. The other Saiyans collapsed against the psychic wall barrier, unable to remain standing. The Tuffles observing from their detention area sat stunned, their eyes filled with the overwhelming radiance from above. Android 18 felt a spike of worry for Zangya, but Raditz continued shouting confidently: "Two!"
He possessed absolute faith in his wife's abilities.
Final second!
Zangya furiously tore through the purple light barrier with one hand, slicing through it like a blade cutting tissue paper. Her delicate features flushed with exertion and concentration as energy exploded from her other hand in a massive wave! The attack surged forward like a dragon ascending to heaven, like the rising sun emerging over the horizon in all its terrible glory!
"It's finished," Raditz said with satisfied relief. He dissolved the psychic barrier, allowing everyone to finally land safely on solid ground.
The assembled warriors watched as Hatchiyack's grudge energy was completely dispersed by Zangya's overwhelming assault, his massive form launched straight upward into the sky, flying toward the sun until he became nothing more than a tiny speck. Sunlight shone through the distant black dot and scattered in all directions, like a shroud of holy radiance illuminating the entire world.
When Zangya descended and touched down, Raditz immediately approached her. "Here, eat a Senzu Bean."
"My training paid off pretty well, didn't it?" Zangya asked with a bright smile, clearly pleased with her performance.
"You were absolutely terrifying just now. I'll have to be careful about domestic violence in the future," Raditz laughed heartily, pulling her into an embrace.
All the Saiyans landed together in a group, quickly expressing their profound gratitude to Raditz and his companions after being saved from certain destruction. They also brought down the surviving Tuffles from the command battleship and placed them together with Rasin and the other prisoners.
The demoralized Tuffles sat on the ground in blank devastation, staring at the multiple locations across the landscape where scorched smoke continued rising from their failed attack. Their hearts churned with confused emotions, unable to process what had just transpired.
Renso approached them carefully. "Give them time to process everything first. I believe this ancient grudge can finally be resolved." With the most fanatical member of the revenge faction—Dr. Lychee—eliminated along with his ultimate weapon, Renso genuinely looked forward to the possibility of reconciliation between their peoples.
"Handle it as you see fit," Raditz nodded, then suddenly remembered something crucial. "Wait—Broly and the others are still at the Chamber of Commerce!"
At that very moment, Rukon was enjoying himself playing with Cabba, completely unaware that disaster had nearly befallen Planet Sadala...
Night fell across the Saiyan homeworld. Renso stood alone on the wasteland outskirts, gazing quietly at the sky, lost in contemplation about the future of his people.
The heavens stretched vast and bright, the moon hanging full and luminous overhead.
Behind him, approaching footsteps suddenly disturbed the silence, causing Renso to turn his head. "Oh, Ramso! It's quite late—is something wrong?"
"I came to check on you, Captain Renso. Today's battle was extremely intense. I wanted to make sure you weren't seriously injured."
"After taking Master Raditz's Senzu Beans, I recovered immediately. Haha, those things are miraculous." Renso responded with an easy smile.
Ramso's expression suddenly became awkward, his laughter coming out rough and forced. "Ah, that's... that's good then. I'll head back now."
"Thank you for your concern," Renso said warmly. He didn't notice anything particularly unusual, though something felt vaguely odd about the exchange. Still, he dismissed the feeling.
Ramso turned and departed, but the moment his back faced Renso, the corners of his mouth drooped downward. His face grew dark and gloomy, a fierce, malevolent light burning in his eyes.
Floating above his head, invisible to normal sight, hovered a spectral humanoid face with a sharp horn protruding from its forehead. If Raditz had been present, he might have recognized the entity.
The avenger who carried the genetic legacy of the Tuffle King.
Baby.
