Chapter 5 - The private session

Ivy's POV

Finally, the weekend had arrived—the day I had been eagerly anticipating. I slipped into a delightful pink dress, one that made me feel pretty and confident, not that I was dressing to impress her, of course. I mean, really, who would do that?

After a quick glance in the mirror to check my reflection, I headed over to her place, my heart racing with an exhilarating mix of excitement and nerves. I rang the doorbell, and when she opened it, my breath caught in my throat. There stood Elara in her fitted trousers and a crop top that hugged her curves perfectly. She looked stunningly hot.

"Come in," she said, her voice husky and inviting, making me feel oddly lightheaded. "Good morning, Miss Elara," I managed to say as I stepped inside, taking in the warmth and charm of her small, cozy home. It felt like a safe haven, every corner whispering secrets of comfort and familiarity.

"Follow me; we'll study in my study room," she suggested, her eyes glimmering with mischief. As I trailed behind her, I couldn't help but steal glances at her as she led the way.

When we reached the study, she glanced back at me. "Can you do me a favor, Ivy? Would you mind making us a cup of coffee while I tidy up this mess?" she asked, her tone casual, though I sensed an underlying warmth to it.

"Sure, absolutely! I actually make really yummy coffee," I replied, feeling a surge of confidence. I stepped into the kitchen, which was immaculate and orderly, making it easy to find what I needed. But when I reached for the coffee mugs on the upper shelf, I realized I was out of my depth—I was just too short to grab them!

As I tiptoed, straining to reach the mugs, I suddenly felt warmth at my back. Elara had come up behind me, her presence overwhelming and electric. She effortlessly reached for the mugs, and in that moment, we were incredibly close. As our eyes met, everything around us faded, and I felt an undeniable pull, a magnetic force drawing her closer. Just as she leaned in, I panicked; my breath hitched and I awkwardly cleared my throat, instinctively stepping back to maintain space between us. She scratched the back of her neck, both of us caught in an incredibly awkward silence that felt like an eternity.

"Let's, um, start the session," she stammered, breaking the tension. "Sure," I replied, forcing myself to focus on anything other than the warmth still lingering between us.

We left the kitchen and settled on the couch in her study, studying in a comfortable silence, though my mind kept drifting back to that moment in the kitchen. Hours passed, and I could feel my energy waning. "That's it for today; you may leave," she announced, her tone lightening the air.

"Sure! Thank you so much for today's session," I said, genuinely appreciative.

"Come on, I'll drop you home. It's late," she offered, a hint of concern in her eyes.

"Okay, thank you," I responded with a smile.

As we sat in the car, the atmosphere felt charged yet oddly quiet. I could feel my heart thumping in my chest, the silence between us thick with unspoken words. We arrived at my place, and as I stepped out, I looked back at her, pausing for a moment. "Drive safe, Miss," I said, the words slipping out with a playful tone. She nodded, her expression unreadable as she drove away.

What a strange day it was, I thought with a sigh, my mind swirling with a mix of memories and lingering thoughts about Elara. Each moment replaying in my head as I stepped inside, lost in the enchanting day that had just unfolded.
