Chapter 219 - 《Naruto: Deidara's Struggle》Chapter 34: Madara: I'm Done

"Impure World Reincarnation!"

With Kabuto's incantation, coffins began to rise one by one from the ground. Inside each coffin lay a once-renowned figure of the ninja world.

"The reincarnation of the former Hokage of Konoha failed? Did something happen after I left last time?" Kabuto murmured, puzzled.

The failure to summon the First Hokage, in particular, was a significant loss of potential combat power.

But since the Impure World Reincarnation didn't succeed, there was nothing he could do about it.

"So, this is your handiwork during this time? You've gathered so many materials," Obito remarked from the side, impressed. At the moment, their side was in desperate need of high-level combat power, and Kabuto's arrival couldn't have been more timely.

Kabuto, however, simply smiled faintly. "The truly impressive part, you haven't seen yet."

As he finished speaking, the wooden panel in front of one of the coffins suddenly shattered. A man clad in red armor, exuding an air of dominance and cold arrogance, stepped out on his own.

"Finally, I've been revived?"

"That Obito guy sure took his sweet time."

Suddenly, he noticed something was off about his body. Looking down, he saw his hands covered in patchwork-like cracks.

"Impure World Reincarnation? What is this nonsense!"

Madara voiced his dissatisfaction, then looked up to survey his surroundings. The first person he saw was Uchiha Obito.

"Obito, what's going on?"

"Why did you summon me with Impure World Reincarnation? Has something gone wrong with the plan?"

This...

Obito felt a bit awkward. It wasn't just a minor problem; the situation in the ninja world had changed so drastically that the mastermind he once was had now become a subordinate, living under Mōryō's shadow just to survive.

"Ahem, ahem," Obito coughed lightly, trying to explain. "The plan has indeed encountered some difficulties, mainly because the enemy's strength has exceeded our expectations."

Just as he was about to continue, Madara interrupted him brusquely.

"Hmph!"

Madara crossed his arms over his chest, exuding disdain. "You inherited my Rinnegan, yet you're still this useless."

"Forget it. Hand over the other Rinnegan to me. I'll personally deal with those nuisances."

"Uh, well... about that... the other Rinnegan was stolen, and we can't get it back now," Obito replied, scratching his head.

"What?" Madara frowned. "You couldn't even retrieve the Rinnegan? I'm starting to question whether entrusting the plan to you was a wise decision."

"In that case, I'll go out myself to retrieve the Rinnegan."

With that, Madara strode forward confidently, paying no attention to Obito or Kabuto, the caster of the Impure World Reincarnation.

Just then, Zetsu emerged from the ground.

"Madara-sama!"

"The one who currently possesses the other Rinnegan is the Jinchūriki of the Ten-Tails! You can't defeat him!" White Zetsu shouted in alarm.

What?!

Madara's rage flared instantly. Was there anyone in the ninja world, aside from Hashirama, that he couldn't defeat?

What was wrong with this White Zetsu? Didn't he understand the art of communication?

He was just about to strangle the clueless White Zetsu when he froze in place.

"What did you say? Someone has already revived the Ten-Tails and become its Jinchūriki?"

He couldn't believe it. Wasn't Obito and Black Zetsu's entire plan over the years centered around gathering the Tailed Beasts?

And now, they had let someone else become the Ten-Tails' Jinchūriki?

Feeling Madara's piercing gaze, Obito rubbed his nose awkwardly.

It's not that we didn't try; it's just that the enemy was too strong!

But Madara didn't want to hear any excuses. To him, they were just the cowardly justifications of the incompetent.

"Then tell me, what do we still have left?"

"Madara-sama, we still have quite a lot," White Zetsu tried to reassure him.

"Look, we have all these strong warriors resurrected with Impure World Reincarnation, a hundred thousand White Zetsu, and we still have one Rinnegan left."

Madara finally relaxed a bit. It seemed they still had plenty of cards to play. There was still hope!

"Alright, gather everyone and follow me. Let's go meet this Ten-Tails Jinchūriki," Madara declared arrogantly. With Hashirama's cells and the Rinnegan, he felt confident he could challenge even the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki.

"Ahem, ahem," Obito coughed awkwardly again. "Well, about that... if we want to leave, we'll need Mōryō-sama's permission first."

"Mōryō? And you call him 'sama'? And we need his permission?" Madara felt his head buzzing. What kind of situation was this?

It seemed that Obito and Black Zetsu had become someone else's subordinates.

How had they fallen so low?

"Mōryō? Isn't he just some demon from the Land of Demons? You couldn't even deal with him?" Madara asked, puzzled. In his eyes, the only person in the ninja world who could surpass him was the legendary Sage of Six Paths.

"I'd like to see just how powerful this Mōryō is, daring to enslave my subordinates," Madara declared boldly.

"No, Madara-sama! You can't defeat Mōryō-sama!" White Zetsu exclaimed, trying to dissuade him.

But Madara wouldn't listen and stormed outside.

Then...

A series of loud crashes and Madara's furious roars echoed from outside. Not long after, Madara was thrown back inside, his face filled with disbelief.

"Madara-sama, are you alright?" White Zetsu looked down at the fallen Madara with concern.

Madara's face twitched. Thankfully, in his Impure World Reincarnation state, he couldn't blush; otherwise, he would have died of embarrassment.

Damn it! I, Uchiha Madara, a legendary figure, must... know when to yield.

For the sake of the Eye of the Moon Plan, I'll endure this humiliation!

"Uchiha Obito, initiate the plan!"

Just then, Mōryō's grand voice echoed from outside the cave.

Obito and Zetsu immediately summoned a large number of White Zetsu from the ground.

Seeing how obedient they were, Madara clenched his teeth in frustration.

"One's Own Life Reincarnation!"

This was a prearranged contingency plan. If the Rinnegan couldn't be used to revive Madara, then the One's Own Life Reincarnation technique would be employed.

Although this technique consumed the caster's life force, there were plenty of White Zetsu to serve as sacrifices.

Gradually, Madara felt the heat of life returning to his body. But he couldn't feel any joy, as he had now been reduced to a mere subordinate.

"You will deploy forces to the battlefields in the Land of Whirlpools and the Land of Hot Water, and launch an assault on the main base of Amagakure."

"As for the Land of Demons, you don't need to worry about it."

Mōryō's presence in the Land of Demons meant it was secure. Additionally, they needed to guard against Itachi's Kotoamatsukami, which might turn Uchiha Madara against them.

Mōryō turned to Madara and infused him with a powerful and malevolent energy. This was the reason for Madara's resurrection—only a living body could receive this power.

"Take my power and destroy everything!"

"Understood," Madara replied, swallowing his pride.
