"It's you, brat!"
"But now we're all mixed together. Your abilities are useless here," the Fourth Raikage said, his memory of Deidara still fresh. However, he quickly dismissed any fear.
Not only was he in an Edo Tensei state, but he had also strategically merged with the allied forces. Did Deidara really have the guts to blow up his own comrades?
"Your reasoning isn't entirely shallow," Deidara replied with a smirk, "but you clearly overlooked one fact—I've improved."
"I'm not the same as I was before."
Deidara tossed the miniature Armory in his hand to the ground. The small clay model rapidly expanded, growing to full size in the blink of an eye.
The white clay Armory spread across the ground like a fortress, leaving everyone momentarily stunned. The sight before them defied their understanding.
Wasn't this brat's ability supposed to be creating strange living creatures? Why was he suddenly building structures? The Fourth Raikage was visibly confused.
"Who cares what he's doing? Just kill all the sealing ninjas, and it won't matter what tricks they pull!" Kinkaku and Ginkaku sneered. As pure villains, they reveled in the thrill of killing.
The other Edo Tensei shinobi nodded in agreement and resumed their assault.
"Hell Stab: Four-Finger Thrust of Hell!"
The Third and Fourth Raikage charged forward first, but Senju Tobirama kept a close watch on them. Every time they were about to succeed in their attack, Tobirama would use the Flying Thunder God Technique to rescue their target.
"Senju Tobirama, how long do you think you can keep this up?" Kinkaku and Ginkaku taunted, their chakra cloaked in the ominous red of the Nine-Tails. They charged viciously toward a sealing team ninja.
"Die!"
Tsunade's fist came crashing down, sending the two brothers flying.
But the sheer number of enemies was overwhelming, and this approach wasn't sustainable.
Standing atop the watchtower of the Armory, Deidara watched as the facility automatically produced a steady stream of mechanized weapons and equipment: mechs, tanks, planes, and combat vehicles.
However, distributing these weapons to the ordinary ninjas posed a logistical challenge.
"I'll handle that," Senju Tobirama offered. He brought his hands together and formed a seal. "Bringer-of-Darkness Technique!"
Suddenly, the battlefield plunged into complete darkness. This wasn't the darkness of night—it was an absolute void. Even with chakra or sensory abilities, those caught in the technique could see nothing but pitch black.
This was the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique, a visual genjutsu Tobirama had specifically developed to counter the Sharingan. It created absolute darkness.
What a perfect opportunity!
Deidara, naturally unaffected by the genjutsu, took full advantage of the situation. Kakashi and his teammates were also unaffected, but that was the extent of Tobirama's precision.
It was impossible for Tobirama to selectively exclude every ally and target only the enemies. He could only ensure that the core members of his side were unaffected.
"Mech units, deploy!"
Whoosh!
A row of Clay Mechs ignited red flames beneath their feet and took off. Following them were tanks, planes, and other mechanized units.
These clay constructs descended onto the battlefield, landing near allied ninjas, and began engulfing them.
"What's happening?! I feel like I'm being eaten alive!" Many panicked, feeling as though they were being swallowed by some soft-bodied creature.
"Don't resist! These are here to protect you!" Tsunade shouted. However, when a clay battle suit approached her, she couldn't help but shiver.
"Get away from me! I don't need this thing!"
Well, some people were just hypocritical like that.
Within two minutes, the darkness dissipated, and everyone regained their vision. What lay before them was a scene straight out of another world.
What is this?!
The Third Kazekage found himself surrounded by a group of bizarre white giants. These angular, blocky figures didn't resemble normal humans at all.
Of course, they weren't human—they were mechs.
Inside one of the Clay Mechs, a ninja from Amagakure sat in stunned silence. He had followed Tsunade's orders not to resist, and when his vision returned, he found himself inside this strange contraption.
Looking at the incomprehensible control panel before him, he fell into deep thought.
"Attack the enemy by pressing this?" Thankfully, the interior of the mech provided simple instructions. The ninja hesitated for a moment before slamming his hand down on one of the buttons.
Boom!
A massive cannonball fired from the mech's chest, creating a huge crater in the ground and even grazing another mech.
"Who the hell is that?! Can't you be more careful?!"
A voice complained from the neighboring mech. The ninja inside that one seemed to have adapted more quickly, as he immediately aimed at the still-dazed Third Kazekage and fired a barrage of cannonballs.
"Magnet Release: Iron Sand Wall!"
Realizing the power of the incoming projectiles, the Third Kazekage hastily summoned a dense iron sand barrier. The sturdy wall easily blocked the explosions, and he was about to scoff when—
"What are you standing around for?! Everyone, open fire!"
Someone shouted, and a storm of cannonballs rained down like a hurricane.
What the—?!
The Third Kazekage was dumbfounded as he watched his seemingly impenetrable iron sand wall crumble under the relentless bombardment. No matter how quickly he repaired it, he couldn't keep up with the rate of destruction.
He quietly formed a sand eye and surveyed the battlefield from above, only to be even more shocked.
Over a hundred Clay Mechs had surrounded him, taking turns bombarding his defenses. They wouldn't stop until they broke through his shell.
And yet, he wasn't even the most unfortunate one. That title belonged to the Kinkaku and Ginkaku brothers.
Their entire combat strength relied on the Six Paths Tools, but they couldn't even get close to their enemies. What use were the tools now?
"Damn it!" Kinkaku roared, donning his Tailed Beast Cloak and transforming into a miniature Nine-Tails. With a single swipe, he smashed a nearby Clay Tank, exposing the terrified ninja inside.
"Hahaha! You think these useless toys can defeat us?!"
But before he could finish his sentence, a cannonball struck him from behind, sending him crashing to the ground.
What followed was a relentless barrage of explosions, reducing the terrain by several meters.
"Argh! Just wait until I get my chance!" Kinkaku screamed in fury, trapped in an endless cycle of death and resurrection.
As for the ordinary undead army?
They fared even worse. Their situation was downright pitiful.
"Sealing team, hurry up and start sealing them!"
