Enacting [mach rush] aether streamed through my body and i travelled across the war torn base of the tower. Breaking through the front door i continued on before kicking in the elevators doors and ripping it off its hinges.
Right about now those three fighter jets must be flying back down from the atmosphere to unload their missiles in the tower. "I need to hurry! Come on, Strife!"
Jumping forwards [mach rush] empowered my speed even further and i climbed up the elevator shaft in a sprint up the wall before ramming through the metal roof and landing atop the towers catapult launch platform.

Looking upwards the three jets were diving down with their missiles ready to fire under their wings. Thorn was behind giving them chase but gravity was on the machines side rather than the wraiths, or mine.
"Strife?" Confused to see me Kimaris was the last to get onto Clara's ship by the look of it as she just stood outside the back entrance. "What are you doing?"
"Theres too many of them! Get going!" Shoving my right hand forwards a wave of telekinetic energy tossed Kimaris inside and sat her down on one of the many seats.

Machine gun fire shot into my back and twisting around i immediately fired a powerful [breach surge] out from my palm. splitting in half the hover-copter that snuck up on me.
The back of Clara's spaceship steadily closed as it got raised onto their vertical platform but before it shut completely i gave a two fingered salute in parting.
"I'll buy you some time. Good luck."
Releasing their rockets the three jet fighters veered off letting the tens of micro-missiles fall down as they completely missed the platform, going around to obliterate the towers supportive pillars.
Firing another [breach surge] out i missed the jet i was aiming for. "Damn it."
A blaring 'beep' rang into my ears and in the next second the spaceship behind me fired off into the sky above, breaking past the thermosphere moments before the missiles destroyed the support pillar of the massive tower. Toppling the tower down towards one side.
"Thorn!!" Running up the side of the falling tower i called out to the sky before leaping off the crumbling tower and going into free fall.
Blasting through the ground the combined firepower of all 8 star-cruisers beam weapons completely immolated what was left off the tower. blasting me up into the sky in the explosion of burning energy and fire.
Catching my body with his many tail's Thorn saved me from the fiery cloud. flying away to the yellow sky as he breathed silver flames onto the jet flying right past us. 'You really can't do anything without me. Can you?"
Before i could respond the other two jets immediately locked onto the raven dragging me through the sky. "You got company!"
Bullet fire pierced through Thorn's wings and he spread out his wings, falling back as the two jets flew right past us. Leaving them wide open as Thorn slapped his massive wings atop the jets and crushed them into nothing but smoke.
