[Immortal Descending from the Heavens!]
And now, a Ninjutsu descended from above — [Thunderous Retribution].
They have a lot in common — especially that overwhelming pressure that makes you not even want to fight back.
The Five Kage and their bodyguards seated below never expected anyone would dare attack the most powerful group in the shinobi world during such an event. They didn't realize what was happening until it was too late — and by then, all they could do was freeze in shock.
Blazing white lightning like solid pillars filled the sky, completely engulfing the Five Kage who seemed utterly unprepared.
This scene looked exactly like orbital cannons launching bombardment — almost identical in visual impact to alien weapons from Saitama's past memories striking the White House (the seat of government authority)!
Feels damn good, man!
Boom... Boom... Boom...
The upper floors above the Five Kage shattered and collapsed under the thunder strike, fully exposing them to its wrath.
In that moment, all sound ceased between heaven and earth. Samurai and ninja outside this building halted mid-action, raising their heads toward this direction with confusion — quickly shifting into horror.
Channeling the thunderous power permeating the skies, he unleashed a devastating full-power strike. As soon as the attack finished, Saitama quickly darted aside — the structure beneath his feet crumbling into ruins from the earlier jutsu.
Right at the center lay a crater dozens of meters wide, the entire building caved inward, large stone pillars scattered across the ground in chaos.
This sight looked just like a post-apocalyptic wasteland!
Landing steadily on a remaining upright pillar, Saitama gazed toward the target area with a grin forming at the corner of his mouth. The power seemed to meet expectations — though effectiveness remained to be seen.
Soon, the thick dust generated by the explosion and collapse gradually cleared, restoring Saitama's vision.
Inside the crater emerged a massive dome-like shape. Even though it was blackened and scorched, it held up surprisingly well, looking super tough.
"Gold Dust?"
Saitama raised an eyebrow, recalling a familiar figure — Rasa.
Of course, Rasa was already at the negotiating table. Who would've thought he'd manage to react at such a crucial moment? Compared to last time, his control over Gold Dust had clearly improved.
Although Saitama hadn't intended to finish off his enemy with just this move, seeing his carefully prepared jutsu blocked so effortlessly still left him somewhat displeased.
Shshsh...
The Gold Dust slowly lost cohesion, scattering downward and revealing what lay inside.
From his high vantage point, Saitama clearly saw through the thinning haze.
Rasa stood at the center of the group, both hands raised high above his head. He looked wiped out, panting like he just ran a marathon.
Nearby stood Jonin Baki, who had accompanied him to the meeting. Right now, he was looking around with a suspicious expression and had clearly not yet recovered from the previous attack.
Clasping his arms tightly, Onoki hovered beside Rasa. Akatsuchi stood behind Onoki, wearing a serious look that made his chubby face seem tense.
Ameyuri Ringo knelt at the edge of the golden sand shield. The two ninja from the Hozuki clan who had come along with her to this meeting were already gone—seemingly vanished during Saitama's earlier assault.
Raikage A surged with lightning energy, his dark skin tinged slightly red. Behind him stood Kishi and Tarui, though both seemed in poor condition, hunched over and gasping for breath.
Minato Namikaze...
"Hm? He's gone..."
Saitama scanned all around them, suddenly realizing something alarming. Immediately on edge, he cast wary glances in every direction.
The Hokage and the two Uchiha ninja accompanying him weren't within Rasa's protective barrier of gold dust. Saitama didn't believe for a moment that his earlier strike could have killed those three outright. Unease crept into his heart.
Whoosh!
Almost as soon as he noticed Minato was missing from Rasa's protective circle, a kunai flew suddenly from nearby straight toward Saitama's face.
The tip gleamed faintly with metallic sheen—an unusual triple-bladed design.
This was Minato's Special Kunai; Saitama recognized it instantly.
The kunai moved incredibly fast, arriving before Saitama even had time to dodge properly.
"Sh*t!"
Saitama twisted midair and drew his sword to intercept the oncoming strike.
Plop!
In one swift motion, Minato hurled the kunai again toward Saitama. But Saitama swung his blade sideways and struck it away effortlessly.
He thought deflecting the kunai would slow Minato down... But in the blink of an eye, Minato was there again—right beside the weapon, one step ahead.
[Rasengan!]
There was no time left to think further. The moment Minato reached the kunai, he used ninjutsu to halt its trajectory, then immediately thrust his other hand forward toward Saitama.
Now positioned above him, Minato carried an overwhelming advantage.
Zap-zap.
Saitama activated the Sharingan and channeled Chidori Current into his blade, then swung upward at Minato descending from above—everything happened in an instant.
Though somewhat surprised by how swiftly Minato retaliated, Saitama responded just in time.
With a loud "Boom!", the Rasengan clashed against the electrified blade, sending shockwaves through the air. Both fighters pushed each other back, drifting apart mid-air.
Whoosh!
As Saitama landed sideways onto the ground, a sharp sound suddenly cut through behind him—a ninja sword materialized out of nowhere, aimed directly at his back.
Crackling wildly, instinct took over without conscious thought. Twisting midair, Saitama drew his sword to meet the incoming attack.
Clang!
The two blades clashed. Saitama took in Shisui's calm gaze and resolute expression as they locked in combat.
Pushing against the weapons, he thrust his other hand toward Shisui's chest, increasing the pressure to drive him back.
"Hmph!"
Shisui could not withstand Saitama's strength. Though nearly forced backward step by step, he still refused to let go.
"Shisui!"
Itachi also joined the fight, leaping from a nearby building with a tanto already drawn.
Yet Saitama had already sensed Itachi's presence the moment Shisui appeared.
Without matching Shisui's flawless Body Flicker Technique, Itachi couldn't launch a surprise attack on Saitama unnoticed.
Ssssh!
Saitama's arm lashed out, carving through Shisui's abdomen. The blow came just as Shisui lunged — a split second too late — leaving him grasping only air. At that instant when Saitama landed a hit on Shisui, he quickly closed the distance, pressing forward to maximize his advantage. His hand kept moving, carving a bloody gash into Shisui before swinging around toward where Itachi had appeared.
At the same time, [Lightning erupted from his palm], surging outward in an intense arc that shot forward like a searing beam for several meters.
Itachi's eyelid twitched slightly. He immediately moved his body to dodge Saitama's attack but lost his chance to strike back.
Having dealt with Itachi, Saitama launched into another aerial kick, clashing mid-air against one of Shisui's own. Then he spring-boarded off the ground several times before vaulting onto the top of a stone pillar, scanning the crowd warily.
All this happened very quickly. The battle between the four seemed over in an instant, with Rasa's gold dust barely settling onto the ground before flowing back around him.
"Saitama Uchiha!"
Minato landed in front of Rasa, speaking gravely with a voice filled with resentment, clearly not expecting Saitama Uchiha to be the one behind this attack.
Though he knew previously that Saitama was inside the Land of Iron, he underestimated just how bold he would dare to be.
"It's me, Fire Shadow Minato!"
Standing atop the pillar, Saitama slowly straightened his posture. He didn't seem even slightly uncomfortable under the gazes of everyone present.
Meanwhile, Kazekage, Tsuchikage, Raikage, and Acting Mizukage trained their gazes on the composed figure of Saitama.
Several of them wore grim expressions.
"Didn't expect to run into so many old faces here—it's quite the surprise."
Saitama's gaze swept past Rasa and Ameyuri Ringo, his lips curling upward into a faint, teasing smile, causing both to turn even darker shades.
"This is the missing-nin from your village who joined Akatsuki, isn't it, Fire Shadow?"
Raikage took heavy steps forward, each footfall sounding dull and oppressive as he slowly advanced. Behind him, his two guards panted heavily.
"Yes."
Minato sensed Raikage's fury beginning to erupt, accompanied by distant rumbling sounds of lightning crackling through the air in sync with Raikage's mood.
They'd just been ambushed—luckily no casualties, but anyone who witnessed the attack knew how close they'd come to disaster.
If it weren't for Rasa unleashing his ultimate technique in time, none of the people present would have escaped unscathed. After all, someone like Minato who mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique was already a rarity across the entire Shinobi World—and there were two such individuals in Konoha Village, one now within Akatsuki.
Even Raikage A himself wouldn't have been able to escape under those circumstances. He could only bring the Lightning Release Armor on his body's surface to its full potential and chose to withstand the impact directly.
"This is my first encounter with an Akatsuki ninja," Elder Onoki said slowly as he floated over to stand beside Raikage, his eyes fixed on Saitama. His tone remained calm, but Saitama couldn't ignore the suppressed killing intent hidden beneath.
"Lord Kazekage, are you alright?"
Baki finally snapped back into awareness and quickly rushed over to support Rasa, whose condition seemed slightly off.
"I'm fine. Just used up quite a bit of chakra. I'll recover after some rest."
Rasa still looked shaken. Golden sand swirling around him like a living entity worked alongside Baki to steady his weakened body. Aside from his pale complexion, he appeared relatively unharmed.
Saitama's sudden attack had been overwhelming. He had no choice but to overexert himself using Gold Dust Barrier defense. Fortunately, it successfully blocked the assault.
Ameyuri Ringo stared at her former seat. The two Mist ninja who had stood behind her as personal guards now lay motionless in the rubble—nothing more than blackened corpses.
Clutching her fists tightly, she rose filled with hatred. Then, heading toward Minato's side, waves of chakra surged across her body.
This demon, Saitama Uchiha, not only murdered the Mizukage and Terumi Mei, but now dared to attack the Five Kages directly, killing two of their elite Jonin from the Mist!
This is blood that can never be washed away!
"Are you alright?"
Minato glanced at Ameyuri Ringo as she approached his side. Noticing something clearly wrong with her demeanor, he kindly asked.
"Yes… Thank you for Lord Kazekage's intervention! Otherwise…"
Ameyuri suddenly recalled Elder Wen's words from before their departure, which calmed her mind somewhat, causing her to hesitate mid-step.
Minato didn't pay much attention and returned his gaze to their current opponent.
"So you're the Akatsuki ninja? Daring to ambush me like this—I admit I underestimated your craziness, you Akatsuki fools!"
Raikage A locked eyes on Saitama as he slowly raised both arms. Crackling lightning began forming, while the golden bracer on his wrist reflected dazzling light under the electricity.
His white hair started to stand straight—he looked terrifyingly formidable.
"But you've chosen the wrong target!!!"
Before this sentence could reach Saitama's ears, the ever-vigilant Saitama suddenly found himself unable to sense Raikage's presence. Since his attention had mostly focused on Minato, Raikage's sudden disappearance startled him somewhat.
Boom! A shockwave burst through the air as a figure appeared behind Saitama—an old man clad in a long white robe and wide belt: Raikage!
"Get down!"
A threw a punch with his fist clenched.
Boom!
Saitama barely sensed the movement and quickly raised both arms to block. A tremendous force slammed into his arms, sending him crashing toward the ground.
Snap! Saitama heard his arm cry out—a sharp, crisp sound paired with intense pain.
Boom!
Struck directly by the Raikage's blow, he hit the ground and continued rolling forward without losing momentum.
"So fast!"
That was the only thought flashing through Saitama's mind. Shaking off the pain, he arched his body up from the ground and rolled sideways.
The next instant, A descended from above, stomping exactly where Saitama had been moments ago. Lightning exploded around that spot!
Boom!
With one stomp, solid ground cracked open, turning into ruins spanning several meters in radius.
Whoosh!
Saitama shot forward again—this time charging straight at the Raikage.
[Chidori]!
One hand thrust forward gripping radiant white lightning while the other swung behind too fast to see clearly. Three-Tomoe spun ceaselessly within Saitama's eyes, striving to track the Raikage's movements.
The Three-Tomoe strained to the breaking point, but Saitama still managed to follow A's movements—just barely.
Thump! The Raikage blocked the incoming strike by crossing his arms over his chest, clamping down on the hand Saitama had aimed at his body. This prevented Saitama's ninjutsu from unleashing its full power.
Crackling lightning seemed harmless to him; stopping the ninjutsu came effortlessly.
But in the next moment, the Raikage's calm expression began fading.
Almost immediately after having one hand restrained, Saitama twisted midair, whipping his other hand outward like a scorpion's tail.
[ZAP!]
That other hand held an even brighter burst of lightning—an enhanced [Chidori].
The [Chidori] shrieked ominously, slicing through the air as it tore across the Raikage's side, ripping away a large chunk of flesh.
The Raikage cried out in agony and released Saitama's hand, retreating backward swiftly.
Dada.
Taking this opportunity, Saitama once again distanced himself from the Kage-level shinobi, staying alert.
Though initially caught off guard due to not fully focusing on the Raikage, allowing the enemy to close in and land some damage, he quickly regained control. In his counterattack, he gained absolute dominance—breaking past the Raikage's defense and striking directly at his flesh, regaining his pride.
"Raikage-sama!"
Kishi and Darui noticed signs of injury on the Raikage and stepped forward anxiously, showing concern.
The Raikage retreated beside Minato's group, his face darkened. He glanced first at his injured waist, then shook his head at the two subordinates who looked worried.
Onoki narrowed his eyes, reassessing Saitama cautiously. He felt slightly surprised that Saitama had managed to gain the upper hand against the Raikage, quickly turning the disadvantage into advantage and repelling the Raikage within a short time frame.
Among them, Raikage should have the fastest speed and strongest burst power, but this rogue ninja named Saitama seems to be no less formidable than Raikage at all. Looks like these Akatsuki bastards really mean business!
"You do have some strength."
Lightning surged across Raikage's body, growing more intense with each passing moment, as though forging a new layer over his skin.
"However," he declared, "an old man like me has far more strength than this!"
The electric current clinging to his body gradually shifted toward gold, with strange golden hues flickering beneath the blue.
His muscles bulged, and the definition of his arms became strikingly pronounced.
Boom!
A deep crater formed beneath his feet, while his figure vanished from the spot.
"He's coming!"
Saitama narrowed his eyes, standing firm and unwavering. His mission this time was to hold off everyone here—the longer he could keep them pinned down, the better chance the others had to succeed!
Moreover, he himself was confident in his ability to hold off the Kages present!
Zzzt!
His body underwent almost the same transformation as Raikage before him—a pale white electricity constantly spiraled around his entire body. Every part of Saitama's body pulsed with strength and vitality.
Though his muscles didn't bulge like Raikage's, he knew his reflexes, speed, and strength had increased dramatically.
By using electricity to stimulate the cells, he was temporarily boosting his physical capabilities manifold.
Furthermore, since most of his body was composed of Hashirama's cells, damage caused by the electricity was nearly minimized to the extreme—granting him a physical foundation rivaling even the Raikage's!
Boom!
He lunged forward, gathering countless lightning bolts into his fists and unleashing a direct assault on Raikage.
[Chōryūbō!]
Raikage moved laterally, aiming his elbow toward Saitama, powerful currents gathering on his arm, emitting dazzling pale-blue light.
Unfazed, Saitama raised his own elbow as well, strongly compressing chakra to gather upon it. He met Raikage's strike head-on, firing back with equal force.
Boom!
Their figures collided—elbows serving as weapons—delivering a perfect impact against each other.
