"What's happening here Your Majesty? Why is a wizard known to kill people allowed to make meals for us? I wonder how appropriate this is. Or are you wishing for our deaths?"
Others followed, complaining about what was happening right before their eyes.
The king didn't know how to explain. He too wasn't in support of any of it.
"Calm down, It's not like that" He could only say.
But no one seemed to be calming down.
Eden stood there watching them complain. He didn't bother but only cared to see his food get served.
He didn't seem bothered at all. If they don't eat it, they could leave it and go off hungry. It was to his benefit after all, he would take them and stockpile to enjoy for the upcoming days.
"We won't have any meal made by this monster. We don't walk into our deaths like that" One pointed out.
"It's also disrespectful to us to have him make meals for us. I wonder what this tradition has turned to"
"I know right?"
