"Is there a reason for it?" Lysander asked "Is there a reason why the narrative doesn't match? Maybe you were misunderstood and didn't really do any of those... Or maybe you did it for a good reason..."
Lysander was trying to find the good side to Eden's past. He was trying to find a better storyline for him even though Eden wasn't even sure if there was.
The book had said he was an evil wizard who did evil things. We never really did get any backstory as to why he did them.
"Or maybe that's my nature" Eden sighed "Maybe I just did what I did because that's me. Evil"
Lysander stared at him. He didn't know why but he simply couldn't bring himself to see him as evil.
All he could see was the goodness in him. And that was all he wanted to see.
They stayed there for a while as Eden finally ate up the pizza he had. It wasn't much but at least he guessed that it could last him that night.
And so he went back to hugging his legs while staring into the fire.
