Eden's eyes met Marquis Dean's as the man walked into the room. Behind him were several guards, and at the back stood other Marquises as well.
Eden smiled as his gaze locked with Marquis Dean, who clearly began to recognize who he was.
Marquis Dean paused and looked back at Adrian, who was still alive—standing. Then he turned his stare to Eden, who stood protectively in front of Adrian.
The other Marquises behind them were already shocked to see Eden. They recognized the wizard of El, and the sight of him left them speechless.
They had never expected to see him here. Not at all.
"And who do we have here…?" Marquis Dean stared at Eden. "I can't believe we have a very important visitor in the person of the infamous wizard of El."
Marquis Dean smiled as he added, "I didn't know you were visiting, or I'd have thrown a bigger party."
Eden smiled back. "No need for that. I don't dine with snakes, apparently."
