Eden's leg met the other and he almost fell flat on the floor.
But Adrian was quick.
He instantly turned and stretched out his hands to him. Adrian caught Eden by the waist, holding him tightly while their eyes clashed.
Eden blinked, hanging on Adrian's hand while staring at him. He couldn't help but feel like the female lead in some CEO type of drama.
Cliché but heart fluttering.
And they stayed like that for a while before Eden coughed.
Adrian brought him to his feet and then let him go. "You should take your medications to get better. Don't go about spreading your illness," he said as he turned to leave.
Eden stood there watching him leave. "I have to get him to agree to the deal officially," he bit his lower lip. "At least then I can be sure that he's on my side."
