Lenny stared at him, blinking. He listened to all Eden had to say before he asked, "So you mean you're falling in love with the two of them?"
"Well...." Eden hesitated. "That might not quite be it. But then again, it might actually be a sign that I'm growing softer."
He continued, "And if I actually end up growing softer, then I might end up falling for them. And I'm not ready for that yet... Again." He muttered the last word as flashbacks came running through his memory.
He found himself thinking about his past. About the moment when he had decided to take a break from love. The moment that led him into that corner to make such a decision.
Lenny sighed. "Well, unless you really are a monster, then I don't know how that'll be possible. Because you seem like you're falling for them. Or something."
Eden blinked. "Well. Then that's bad..."
