The Priest of Elzager stared at Eden. His expression was calm and calculative. He didn't say anything while he studied Eden for a while, as though he was trying to savor the "familiar" face he hadn't seen for ages.
"Long time no see. You still have your silly sense of humour, don't you?" The priest scoffed after a while.
Eden raised an eyebrow. "Long time no see? Am I supposed to know you?"
The priest was quiet.
"Then aren't you here to conduct some fancy exorcism to cast the devil out of me?" Eden studied his attire. "Because that's typically what is expected in such a situation."
The priest leaned backwards, staring at him. "This is certainly not how you act when you meet an old friend, is it? Don't you think you're being a bit too cold, dear wizard of EL?"
Eden paused, staring at him. Something was wrong and he could tell. He supposedly knew this man, or so this priest was suggesting he knew him.
