Their eyes locked. The atmosphere was stiff.
"It doesn't matter. Does it?" Felix forced a smile. "You said you were tired, so you should go get some rest..."
It was clear that he was trying to change the topic. He didn't wish to speak about it, and Eden knew it was going to be hard to try getting any information from him at all.
Eden wanted to try something else. Try getting information from him in some way or something. But it was already too late now.
Because they overheard someone coming through that hallway. And Eden pulled Felix by the hand and they dashed to a corner, hiding.
".... My Queen, are you sure about this..?" came a lady's voice. And curious, Eden peeped from his hiding place to see who it was and what was going on.
He saw Queen Elizabeth. She was in the company of her lady-in-waiting. And the two of them were heading in a direction he was sure he knew. One he was sure he saw them headed to the other day.
