By the time Mr. Albert arrived at the Emperor's bedroom, he could hear him snapping at someone from outside.
He stood outside, waiting for the maids who were being yelled at to walk out. As soon as they left, he prepared to go in.
Mr. Albert walked into the room and caught sight of the Emperor sitting on his bed. The golden cup he had been drinking from was on the floor, the drink spilled.
He looked furious. He had been furious ever since they lost everything. And now Mr. Albert knew he would have to wait for his own verdict.
Without a word, he stood before the Emperor, who had his eyes on the ground, staring at the spilled wine. It was the first time he was meeting the Emperor ever since the Wizard of EL had destroyed the place and taken the princes away.
"What do you recommend doing now...?" the Emperor demanded.
Silence filled the room for a while. The guards standing at the sides didn't dare speak. They all stared into thin air.
Mr. Albert said nothing.
