After Loki and Freya left, Ouranos finally looked toward Zeus and Hera.
Only when he saw his old friends did a trace of emotion appear on Ouranos's face.
"What made you suddenly decide to come back, Zeus?"
"Some things have happened that went far beyond what we originally anticipated."
"Oh?"
Ouranos understood well that the current situation differed greatly from their early expectations, but Zeus's wording still piqued his curiosity.
"You encountered something outside the predictions?"
Zeus let out a small sigh, speaking with a touch of helplessness.
"Half a month ago, we also saw Orario carry out that operation targeting Evilus."
"Hm?"
At those words, Ouranos frowned and turned to look at Hermes.
"'...was that your doing?"
Hermes looked completely baffled. Instead of answering Ouranos, he gave Zeus a confused glance.
"My projection may reach far, but it hasn't reached your location yet."
Zeus knew perfectly well that Hermes neither had the ability nor the audacity to broadcast Orario's publicity plan straight to him.
"It wasn't Hermes."
Zeus waved a hand, brushing aside the suspicion immediately.
"I know exactly who did it. But Hera and I can't casually say her name."
A name neither Zeus nor Hera could speak lightly?
Ouranos remained silent for a long time before finally processing what he'd heard.
"So that's how it is. 'The World' has started to move."
'The World,' the true creator of the world, and the sole mother of all gods and every child of the Genkai.
"Is it because of that child? To step in so easily..."
Zeus looked at Ouranos as though he were being ridiculous.
"Hey now, this isn't even her first appearance. Didn't she lend a hand when that kid Bell made his plea? Godly Authority—she just reclaims it whenever she wants, without a hint of hesitation."
That was true enough. Ouranos took a deep breath and closed his eyes slightly, feeling the edges of a headache forming.
"So it really is as you said. That child is the 'Change' that will reshape Orario's future. But now it seems the child's importance exceeds even your earliest predictions. Their very existence is influencing the entire world."
For Ouranos, this was nothing but a troublesome, headache-inducing matter, especially now that the scapegoat Evilus was gone.
The best option right now would be to send Bell to the "School District."
Unfortunately, Bell had already honed his strength to a level the "School District" could no longer hold. Sending him there now would only delay his growth and create even bigger problems.
Ouranos then lifted his gaze toward Zeus and Hera.
"I already know why you've come back."
"If Loki and Freya don't object, you won't have to worry about being thrown out as gossip fodder."
Since Loki and Freya—who had driven Zeus and Hera out before—weren't bothered by it, none of the other gods had any standing to bring it up.
Zeus wasn't particularly concerned about that matter anyway.
"We're not worried about Loki and Freya. With that brat's relationship with them, they're not about to turn against us over him."
"And besides, Loki and Freya definitely understand why we returned. They're probably wracking their heads right now trying to shift the gods' attention away from that kid."
Ouranos found that reasoning sound.
If Loki and Freya had objections, they would've struck back when Hera pressed them earlier. Since they didn't retaliate and only left after a few words, it showed they clearly understood how beneficial Zeus and Hera's return was at this moment.
"Zeus, you don't need to answer me directly for what I'm about to ask."
Hearing that, Zeus gave a faint smile and nodded lightly.
"You should all know the identity 'The World' holds in the Genkai, right?"
Zeus didn't speak. He simply looked at Ouranos.
Ouranos nodded slowly.
"I see."
"So that's why that brat was able to get Hera's child pregnant back then, isn't it?"
This time, Zeus didn't look at Ouranos—he glanced toward Hera instead.
That answer made Ouranos click his tongue inwardly...
"Looks like your kid really was wronged when he was punished back then. Still, to have made a pact with 'The World'—your child really does have impressive qualities."
The internal matters of Zeus and Hera's familia were likely far more complicated than the outside world imagined. That so-called "Age of Heroes" was probably something arranged from the very beginning.
And that "Age of Heroes" was likely created for the sake of leaving Bell with the title of "Last Hero."
"It seems your child was right. The world has already experienced countless reboots. Everything is being rebuilt, and some special elements have begun to change as well."
"And as for who caused those changes in the rebooted world, the answer is already obvious."
Who altered the rebooted world?
There was no doubt—it had to be Bell.
While the world kept rebooting, almost no one else changed at all. Only one person was changing every time.
So in truth, were all these reboots simply the world searching for the Bell who was truly meant to exist?
With that realization, Ouranos finally understood. What he needed to consider next was whether Bell would end up being exposed.
Having grasped most of the situation, Ouranos fully understood the efforts Zeus and Hera had put in, so he would help conceal the matter as well.
"For the next year, I'll do my best to have Ferris and Hermes hide all information regarding Bell Cranel."
"But since the Guild is acting on its own, there's still a chance the gods might notice. I can't overdo it. I'll hide whatever I can, and the rest will be up to you."
Zeus accepted this help without hesitation.
"Old friend, the rest is our job."
And Zeus didn't think the coming year would be particularly difficult.
Given that kid's cautious nature, he wouldn't leave the gods any hints at all.
Zeus was certain that as long as he and Hera drew enough attention to themselves, Bell wouldn't need to worry about being found—at least for the first three months of the year.
