Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: I Wonder If Herta Would Be Interested in My Junk?

Takumi received the laptops sent by Fujiwara Chika and Sagiri.

Looking at the two machines before him, he got to work.

He activated his Corrosion Authority and began extracting data from the laptops. This Authority allowed him to invade and take control of any biological or mechanical systems. To Takumi, electronic devices were just toys.

He quickly scanned and compiled all the data.

These laptops hadn't downloaded everything indiscriminately—they excluded unrelated junk and focused purely on technological materials and academic papers.

After analyzing the data from Sagiri's world, Takumi nodded thoughtfully. It was similar to his original world before transmigration, perhaps even a bit behind. The physics and scientific knowledge resembled what existed in his current world, but with less depth.

It wasn't much, but there were some ideas worth referencing.

He formatted Sagiri's laptop, then moved on to Chika's. Her world's knowledge wasn't much different, but again, a few things could help fill in gaps.

After absorbing everything, he formatted the second laptop as well.

Takumi repackaged both laptops and returned them to Chika and Sagiri.

Takumi: [@Fujiwara Chika – Here's your personal red packet.]

Takumi: [@Sagiri – And here's yours.]

Takumi: [These are for you. Consider them gifts. The AI inside these laptops should be really helpful.]

Takumi: [Think of them as personal assistants. They can even help with your homework.]

Chika and Sagiri were watching the chat. When they saw Takumi's message, both were momentarily stunned—then quickly accepted.

Homework help? That was amazing!

Fujiwara Chika was thrilled. After accepting the laptops, curiosity got the better of her.

Fujiwara Chika: [Did the knowledge from my world help you?]

Sagiri was also curious. After all that downloading overnight—did it really help?

Takumi: [Yes, but not much.]

Takumi: [It's like pouring a cup of water into a river.]

Takumi: [Your world's tech is similar to mine before I transmigrated.]

No—in fact, the world he came from might've had slightly more advanced science than most anime settings.

Unless it was a super-advanced world like Super God or Three-Body Problem, most knowledge just wasn't all that useful to him.

He needed to shift his focus to magic-based worlds—like the ones where Juno or Zhongli came from.

Or Himeko's world.

Yes, he'd need to arrange a proper transaction with her.

Himeko's world was incredibly advanced, possibly even featuring beings like Aeons.

If he just sent a laptop her way, it'd probably get traced right back through the network. Invasion might not even be possible. He'd be lucky to download basic content.

Fujiwara Chika: [Aww, that's a shame.]

She was a little disappointed. But it made sense—Takumi's current world had already achieved nuclear fusion.

Izumi Sagiri: [Sorry, Takumi-oniichan... I guess we weren't much help!! (# ̄~ ̄#)]

Takumi: [No need to apologize. It was just an experiment.]

Takumi: [I should probably focus on Himeko's world.]

He didn't even bother calling her "Auntie" anymore—it was straight to "Onee-san."

Himeko had been watching the group. She chuckled at Takumi's wording.

Himeko: [You want the tech from my world?]

Himeko: [No problem. I can help gather some.]

Himeko: [I'll even send you the tech I personally know.]

Himeko: [But some stuff isn't easy to obtain. You know our world's current situation.]

After all, she was in the midst of the Stellaron conflict. Just like the game, she'd experienced everything up to that point. Beyond that, even she didn't know what was coming.

Takumi: [That's more than enough.]

Even basic tech from her world could be immensely helpful. Himeko herself was a scientist, and anything she possessed would be worthwhile.

Himeko: [Alright!]

Himeko: [I'll gather what I can.]

Himeko: [Or maybe you can trade with a certain genius for even more.]

Himeko: [She'd probably be very interested~~!]

She was referring to Herta.

Perhaps a trade involving the superpower awakening serum?

Himeko had used one and gained fire control abilities. Not the most impressive, but definitely an interesting research lead.

Takumi's eyes lit up.

Takumi: [Herta, huh?]

Takumi: [Alright, I'll package some of my world's items. You help me trade.]

That could work.

Even if his stuff wasn't particularly advanced by her standards, it might offer her some inspiration.

For someone like Herta, ideas were more valuable than raw data.

Not to mention—Takumi also had magic. Even if he got it from others, Herta would definitely be intrigued.

Himeko: [I can try.]

Himeko: [She's more interested in other worlds than in tech itself.]

She wasn't sure what she could get, but she'd try her best.

Takumi: [Ok~!]

Takumi: [Please wait a moment.]

With that, he began packaging all the technological materials he had.

Like Bronya, his philosophy was: we're not from the same world, so what does it matter?

If he could trade something that improved his own strength, it was worth it.

Takumi would eventually develop this world further. Gathering knowledge and fortifying its foundations was critical.

He compiled everything into a single laptop and added a few superpower awakening serums.

Would Herta even glance at them?

Maybe not—her world's Paths were far more powerful.

But the serum was mass-producible. The fact that it could grant ordinary people special powers might still interest her.
