A group of researchers were looking at him eagerly, waiting for him to release his power to break the dimensional wall.
Looking at the eyes of these people, Takumi felt numb.
"Are you all ready?"
They had been waiting for a while. Their equipment was all set up.
"Ready. You can start now," Herta nodded. All her preparations were complete. She was just waiting for Takumi to begin.
In addition, she had also sent many puppets to help record various data.
"OK!"
Since everything was ready, they would start.
Takumi didn't waste any words and nodded to Wei Weiwei, allowing her to start the instrument.
"All units, please note. Now let's begin a new round of experiments. Report any problems immediately. This time, the energy output will last for 5 minutes," Wei Weiwei ordered clearly.
Everyone started preparing. Five minutes of continuous output meant the dimensional membrane would be open for five minutes—longer durations were impossible. The energy and equipment couldn't support it. Five minutes was the absolute limit.
After all the units were ready, the equipment started. A terrifying beam of energy blasted out, forcibly twisting and opening the dimensional space in the distance.
Seeing this, Takumi didn't hesitate. He entered his strongest state and unleashed his full power. His aura spread continuously throughout the dimension.
If there were any powerful beings nearby, they would definitely sense it.
In another world, Shiroyasha sensed it.
"What's that guy doing again? Showing off his power?"
Feeling Takumi's presence, Shiroyasha couldn't help but complain.
But what she sensed next confused her.
"Who is Takumi attacking?"
Without hesitation, Shiroyasha rushed to the scene. She wanted to see which unlucky soul had provoked Takumi.
Others who sensed Takumi's power also rushed over.
When they arrived, they saw Takumi using his full strength to attack the opened dimensional membrane. Everyone was stunned.
Takumi's power was overwhelmingly terrifying. If they were hit by even a portion of it, they'd probably collapse instantly.
Only now did they understand how strong Takumi truly was. Usually, he didn't show off. People knew he was strong, but not to this degree.
No one paid attention to the crowd. Everyone was busy collecting data. The data from Takumi's full-strength attack was invaluable.
But some instruments couldn't keep up. His strength exceeded their expectations.
"Damn it! Can't detect it—at all!"
"Hey, what's the situation over there? Has it been tested?"
Others also chimed in:
"No, my instrument can't detect it."
"Same here."
"Nope. It's too strong."
The scene became noisy.
Takumi ignored it. He focused entirely on attacking the dimensional membrane.
Whether or not their instruments could detect it was their problem.
Takumi's strikes hit the membrane, but only caused faint ripples that soon calmed. It was like the membrane absorbed all his power.
For the next few minutes, Takumi attacked wildly—using techniques he had never used before.
"Damn! Is this thing cursed?!"
After minutes of nonstop attacks with no progress, Takumi started cursing.
With two minutes left, he stopped attacking and activated his power to analyze the membrane.
He even used Prometheus's computing power to help.
Wei Weiwei's eyes lit up. This might work.
If it couldn't be destroyed, they would analyze it. She had tried but failed.
Hopefully, Takumi could do better.
Herta also noticed. She checked the network—and saw it was jammed.
"Too much power," she muttered.
Seeing the commotion Takumi stirred up, Herta had high hopes.
Maybe he'd achieve more than all their past experiments.
Under Takumi's analysis, data began flooding into his mind. Prometheus quickly uploaded and stored it.
Takumi was surprised. The dimensional membrane was woven from rules and abstract concepts—many of which he didn't understand.
Those were likely the core components.
Still, Takumi recorded everything he could. There were too many rules. It was a massive task, but he did his best.
In just two minutes, he recorded most of them.
Then the instruments shut down. They had reached their limit.
But Takumi was satisfied.
As the experiment ended, Takumi returned to the platform.
Wei Weiwei rushed over.
"What did you analyze? I've tried but couldn't figure it out—just lots of incomprehensible rules."
She looked at him expectantly.
Takumi rubbed his temples.
"The rules are too complex. There are many concepts I don't understand. It's like reading a book in an alien language."
It was far more difficult than he had expected. Who would've thought a dimensional membrane could be so complicated?
