June's POV
I punched his arm playfully. "Haha. Not funny."
Ian laughed, like he was enjoying himself.
Before I could pull my hand back, he wrapped his fingers around my wrist.
"Ian.."
He pulled me closer gently.
I lost my balance for a second and stepped closer to the bed. Then his other arm slid around my waist.
My face turned red.
"Sooo…" he said slowly, his voice dropped into that soft teasing tone that always made my heart flutter..
"Can friends still do this sometimes?"
My entire face burned. "I…what?"
I tried to pull my hand back, but that only made me lean closer into him. Very dangerous position.
"Ian…" I whispered, trying to sound serious. "Friends don't…"
But my voice came out softer than I wanted.
"I thought we were friends now," he continued innocently. The corner of his mouth lifted.
I glared at him.
"Let go," I muttered.
I shifted my foot to step away….and slipped.
"Wait…"
