They turned to me.
"it's our first meeting, I'm Riven"
It sounded like a gente breeze tickling my skin.
I hicked.
Riven stopped abruptly. I tripped but Riven had already caught me.
I chuckled.
"guess I owe you two,"
Riven paused.
"do you know me?" Riven's voice almost cracked
"I felt like I saw you at the subway" I smiled "can I buy you a coffee as a thank you?"
Summer sure is hot, the sun was burning my face down.
Perhaps sensing my embaressment, Riven nodded.
I quickly searched for a cafe. We sat down near the window.
"coffee for one?" The waiter asked.

"coffee for two, please" I gave them a polite smile.
Riven spoke first.
"How much do you know about time?"
Riven stirred the coffee slowly, too slowly
Time felt like it slowed down
