Chapter 94 - Ankush's past

He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion "What? Since she was a kid? But i never met her before then how she likes me?"

"H-He said she saw you in a p-political party and....and since she fell in love with you."

Raksheet tried to remember where Seya could have seen him. But doesn't matter how hard he tried to think, he can't remember.

"I have been to many political parties with my father but I don't know where she saw me. But trust me princess, i don't like her at all. She is my enemy's daughter, i will never look at her the same way she looks at me."

"I know but..." She tried to control the urge to cry and said "But he said they wanted to end this enmity by marrying Seya to you."

Raksheet's eyes widened in shock and he asked out loud "What?! Is he out of his mind?! Talking nonsense infront of my wife!"

"I-Is it true?" She asked with tearful eyes.

"Of course not! No one ever told me that this enmity can end by me marrying Seya. He is lying!" His anger was on its peak. He wanted to go back and puch Pavan right on his face. How dare he say something like this to his wife? He is trying to break their relationship and it's clear now.

"If your grandfather wouldn't have asked you to marry me....and if Bayar had sent you proposal for Seya's marriage with you, you would have accepted it, right?" She burst out in tears just by thinking that Raksheet would have married someone else if his grandfather wouldn't have asked him to marry her.

His eyes softened to see her crying, He wrapped his arms around her tightly and patted her back "No, never. I don't have any feelings for her so why would I marry her?"

"You d-didn't had any feelings for...me but still you married me....a useless girl....for your kingdom. Then you would have married Seya to end the enmity for sure!"

Raksheet felt tongue twisted. What Ira said is true. He married her because his grandfather asked him and for alliance between their kingdom. And if Bayar had sent Seya's marriage proposal to end the enmity, he would have accepted it without any second thought. Before marrying Ira, he only used to think about his family and kingdom. And he could do anything for his kingdom, Even if he had to marry his enemy's daughter.

"But now I only love you and you are not useless." He kissed her forehead and rested his head on hers. "You are the most precious person in my life and I can't replace you with anyone. Please don't think too much. Forget whatever he said. He is lying to separate us. Didn't i told you to ignore their nonsense talks and not to trust them. Doesn't matter how much your enemy acts friendly, he is still your enemy who want to harm you. He is just trying to come close to us and then show his true colours. And what he did today is enough to show his intentions."

"You d-don't like her, r-right?" She asked in a low voice, making Raksheet chuckle on her cuteness.

He wiped the tears from her cheeks and replied "Of course not. I only like you. I only love my dear wife Ira." He kissed her cheeks and petted her head "Now don't think about that and sleep. It's dark outside so we have to slow down our journey. We will reach Jwalana almost in morning so you better sleep now."

She tugged on his shirt and looked at him "You too."

The way she looked at him and her red swollen lips with teary eyes made him gulp hard. He tried to control his urge to kiss her and looked away.

"A-Alright. Now sleep." He pulled her close and hided her face in his chest but she suddenly asked.

"Can I kiss you?"

He looked at her with wide eyes. "What-" But before he can say anything more, she locked her lips with his. Her hand on his chest for support to move up to match his height.

He wrapped his hands arround her waist, preventing her from falling and pulled her close. He made her sit on his lap and kissed.

She wrapped her hands around his neck. Their lips just touching eachother's, not moving at all. She pressed her lips on his even more and hugged him tightly, to feel him, to assure that he is hers and will never leave her.

He caressed her back and pulled the sheets over her body to cover her.

A tear rolled down her eyes and he wiped it with his fingers. He pulled his lips back and said.

"It's alright. I am here."

She nod and again pressed her lips on his. He let her kiss him as long as she want, until she fell asleep in his embrace.

In Aaro, Ankush and Agastya were preparing to leave from palace, finishing their work.

"Are you done?" Agastya asked.

Ankush nod and grabbed his bag. "Yes." He looked around to see if anyone is there "Are you sure his majesty will be fine? What if Veer enters in his chamber and again mess with his medicine?"

Agastya grabbed his bag and trew it over his shoulder "Don't worry. The guard outside his chamber is my friend. He is our man and I have instructed him not to let anyone enter in his majesty's chamber. He will not let Veer enter in his chamber doesn't matter how hard Veer tires."

"That's good." Ankush stretched his arms, feeling pain all over his body "How do you work so much? I am tired in just one day. Servant's job is too hard. I cleaned the entire palace."

Agastya chuckled and patted Ankush's back, walking towards gate "That's good. Think it as exercise. Did anyone tried to trouble you?"

Ankush shook his head tiredly "No, they are good. They helped me but this is not I am here for. I am feeling like a servant more than.." He looked around and then whispered "more than a spy."

Agastya laughed and wrapped his arm around Ankush's shoulder. "You will get used to it."

They stepped outside the palace gate and started walking towards their house. The road was empty, no one was outside as it was midnight.

The silence and cold wind was blowing, making their fatigue erase from their body but Ankush had something in his mind that was bothering him since he entered in Aaro. He wanted to ask Agastya about it but didn't got any chance before.

He came out of his thoughts when he felt Agastya hugging him from side. "It's cold. Let's stay like this."

Ankush smiled slightly and looked down. He suddenly asked.

"Can I ask you something?"

Agastya looked at him and nod "Sure."

"Why did you all planned to present my background as an orphan?"

"What?" Agastya was unable to understand what Ankush is trying to say. It was a part of their plan. "You don't like it?"

Ankush breathed deeply and looked up at sky. "I was just wondering how you know my true background."

Agastya fell silent. Looking at Ankush he never felt that this man is an orphan and such a small matter can hurt him. He looks like a spoiled pampered kid who never listens to anyone.

He stopped walking and came infront of Ankush, stopping him on his place as well.

"W-What do you mean? You-you don't have any family?"

Ankush nod with a sigh "Yes, I am an orphan. I don't have any family."

Agastya gulped. His heart ached to see Ankush's this side. The strong and short tempered Ankush have a sad and lonely background, it's unbelievable for him.

"I don't know anything about my parents. I grew up in an orphanage. I don't even know if my parents are alive and why they left me."

The silence followed for a while. Agastya was trying to break the silence but don't know how. He don't want to hurt Ankush's feeling by saying something he shouldn't. He have to be careful with his words.

"Does....does Vikram know about it?" He asked.

Ankush shook his head "No. No one know about it."

Agastya felt so touched that he is the only one with whom Ankush shared his biggest secret.

"It means....I am the only one who know about it."

Ankush nod "And i hope you will be the only one who know about it." He indirectly asked Agastya to keep this secret to himself and don't share it with anyone, not even Mukta.

Agastya can understand that this is the saddest past and secret of Ankush that he should not share with anyone without his permission. He should respect Ankush's privacy and should not break his trust.

"It will. Not even Mukta will know about it."

Ankush smiled after hearing that this loyal husband is going to hide something from his wife for him. He placed his hand on Agastya's shoulder and started walking again.

"Let's go back. Your wife must be waiting for you."
