"If the nine heavens ambrosia is known as one of the 3 divine wines what are the other 2 divine wines." Gu Zhi asked.
"that would be the void heart elixir and the jade spring spirit wine. According to legends the void heart elixir pertains to the mind, jade spring spirit pertains to the soul, and nine heavens ambrosia pertains to the body. They are many legends associated with the wines, but for the nine heavens ambrosia its best known for its ability to get immortals drunk with just a drop" she said.
"JUST A DROP" Gu Zhi seemed horrified at those words. He imagined himself taking a sip only to instantly become a retard.
'I could have died'.
It seems fortune and misfortune go hand in hand together.
"Yes its best if we dilute it before taking a drop as well... and don't smell it. I bet one whiff and you'd drop to the floor foaming out of your mouth if its the real deal".
"So what should we do, do we take a diluted version of this, or do we try some other wine."
Gu Xiao seemed to be in deep thought by the question as both choices had their own benefit. On one hand there would be no way they would be able to drink all of the diluted nine heaven ambrosia but the benefits would be enormous. They would be for sure wasting some of it as they only had less than a week before the next trial starts. On the other hand they could shoot in the dark and try some other wine. This had many benefits as none of the other wine would be at the same level as the nine heaven ambrosia, this would be beneficial for them as they don't currently have the strength to stomach a divine wine.
"We should keep the nine heavens ambrosia and tell no one of its existence. Keep it hidden, its probably best if we find a wine we know we can handle that will bring us some benefits." Gu Xiao said as she made the final decision. They then proceeded to look around the room looking for any familiar wine or alcohol that they would know.
After hours of careful searching they decided to try a few from the ones they had selected.
"You shouldn't drink any right now due to your situation" Gu Zhi said to Gu Xiao.
"I know, however sometimes the right drink can actually help the baby" Gu Zhi looked over.
"Sure, but let's leave that for later, for right now I have some wine to drink".
He looked over at the ones he had selected: golden gourd wine, ancient ape's mead, and raspberry blood wine. These were the three he had selected to try. The golden gourd wine was a famous wine that helped body cultivators, the ancient ape's mead supposedly gave you strong muscles like an ape, by increasing muscle strength the more often you drank it, it had a small effect unless a large amount was consumed, and finally the blood raspberry wine was an easy pick for Gu Zhi because it helped improve the quality of someone's blood and helped blood cultivators improve their control over their own blood. There were a lot of minor benefits to each drink, and some negatives as well. So it was important to know which to ones to drink and when.
Gu Zhi should drink the golden gourd wine and the blood raspberry wine first and on the last two days go on an absolute bender and drink as much of the ancient ape's mead as he could on the last two days. This will maximize all the benefits he could receive from the drinks.
"Let's move at night transport the wine to our room while Ji Long and Ji Er aren't looking" he said.
"You sure? We will have to make multiple trips to transport so much wine" she said.
"It's fine, the rewards are well worth it, its best not to waste anymore time".
They quickly got to work transporting the wine from the cellar to their room. They eventually spent most of the night transporting what they could only to have their room full of barrels. They had a good nights rest went down for breakfast and stockpiled on food in their room. Gu Zhi would spend most of the week drinking with Gu Xiao watching over him.
Gu Zhi drank the golden gourd wine it found it smooth and warm. It had a mellow taste to it that made drinking it quite easy. He could feel himself get drunk as his body heated up.
"What did this wine do again" he asked as he sipped on the golden wine.
"It strengthens your body, all of it, from your skin to your bones, to your blood. Its a dream of many body cultivators to sit back and drink this among good company. It's known for its easy taste, and wide benefits, from getting cultivators drunk, to increasing their bodies foundation, to having a nice drink, to relaxing with friends, to its easy diet. It should make you relaxed, comfortable, and drunk".
That it did, as Gu Zhi spent the whole night chatting with his wife and drinking the wine.
The next day he moved on to the raspberry blood wine.
It had a sweet yet slightly bitter taste to it. It was had much more flavor to it than the golden gourd wine but he also couldn't binge drink it like the last one. He could feel it move in his body enriching his blood as it made him even more relaxed than the golden gourd wine did. It even felt euphoric as he could feel his blood becoming enriched, stronger and he had a happy smile on his face when he drank the wine. He spent 2 days drinking the wine before moving onto the next. This one he knew was going to hurt.
