Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Shadow's Revelation

The figure stepped closer, its features still shrouded in darkness. Lyra's magic pulsed through her veins, ready to defend her against this unknown threat.

"Who are you?" Lyra demanded, her voice firm.

The figure chuckled, a low, menacing sound. "You don't recognize me, Lyra?" it said, its voice dripping with malice. "I'm disappointed."

Kael stepped forward, his sword at the ready. "You're not going to hurt her," he said, his voice low and deadly.

The figure laughed again, the sound sending shivers down Lyra's spine. "Oh, I'm not here to hurt her," it said. "At least, not yet."

Lyra's eyes narrowed. "What do you want?"

The figure stepped closer, its features still hidden in the shadows. "I want to show you something, Lyra," it said. "Something that will change everything."

Suddenly, the figure raised its hand, and Lyra felt a strange sensation wash over her. The world around her began to blur, and she felt herself being pulled into a vision.

In the vision, Lyra saw herself standing on a cliff, overlooking a vast expanse of water. The moon was full overhead, casting a silver glow over the landscape. And then, she saw Kael standing beside her, his eyes locked on hers.

But as she looked deeper into the vision, Lyra saw something that made her heart skip a beat. Kael's eyes were black as coal, and his smile was twisted and cruel.

"What's going on?" Lyra demanded, pulling herself out of the vision. "What did you show me?"

The figure chuckled again, the sound sending shivers down Lyra's spine. "The truth, Lyra," it said. "The truth about Kael Darkhaven."

Lyra's eyes locked on Kael, her mind reeling with questions. What did the vision mean? Was Kael truly who he claimed to be?
