Prologue: A New Beginning

Sasha had never been anyone special. His days were spent reading his favorite novels and working in a dusty bookstore that barely survived the passage of time. He was an ordinary young man who just wanted to lose himself in pages filled with adventures and legendary heroes.

Until the accident happenedm.

That night, rain was pouring down. A car careened out of control onto the sidewalk, and Sasha's world faded into the wail of distant sirens and the fading sound of his own trembling breaths.

When he opened his eyes again, he was no longer in his city. Nor in his bed. He was lying on cold grass beneath a sky he had never seen before — two moons overhead and a shimmer almost palpable in the air. A world that had only ever existed in the pages he loved so much.

The World System of AltherionIn Altherion, magic is a vital force that flows through the land and all living beings. People are born with a "core" that determines their elemental affinity, and they can train their energy to unlock greater powers. The ranks of power are:

🟡 Initiate — Someone who has only just learned to channel their inner energy.🟠 Disciple — Has basic control and can cast simple spells.🔴 Adept — Mages who have mastered their element, recognized for their skill.🟣 Master — Powerful spellcasters who can alter reality around them.⚫ Archmage — A living legend, capable of reshaping the world itself.

"Arcane nexuses" — spheres in every city — amplify energy and allow adventurers to grow stronger in exchange for merits earned on quests, hunts, and battles against monsters.

Additionally, there are guilds that train and protect their members, as well as academies where the youth are sent to become heroes, soldiers, or scholars.

Prologue (Continued)Sasha gazed at his own reflection in a nearby puddle: a seventeen-year-old boy with bright eyes and a determined expression he had never worn before. His memory was flooded with a rush of information that didn't belong to him — a name, a history, memories of a noble family in a small duchy — and one thought repeating endlessly in his mind:

"I've been reborn into the saga I read... and I have a chance."

He was standing on the first pages of a future he already knew too well. What had once been mere entertainment would now be his reality. And he could make only one promise:

Survive. Grow. Protect those who were meant to die. And change the ending.
