Chapter 2 - Prologue — The End of the Game

There was something strange about recommending an NTR game as if it were a spiritual experience.

"Trust me," his friend had said. "This one will break your soul."

Bored of the usual visual novels where everything ended happily, Alex agreed out of sheer curiosity.

He didn't expect to finish it in a single night—but he did.

The choices were so obvious, so cruel, so unfair that it made his blood boil just thinking about how the so-called "antagonist" ruined the heroine's life and slowly, remorselessly crushed the protagonist.

And there it was, the final scene: Megumi, thrown out of her home by her family after getting pregnant by the villain, abandoned by everyone, while the true protagonist watched helplessly from afar.

The game ended with a single line:

"End of story. You only watched."

Alex went to sleep with a bitter taste in his mouth.

And when he woke up…

…he was no longer in his bed.

The room reeked of stale alcohol and cigarettes. His head throbbed violently, like it had been hit the night before.

When he tried to sit up, something fell to the floor: a silver chain with a skull pendant. It wasn't his.

And the face in the mirror across from him wasn't his either.

Bleached blond hair. Bloodshot eyes. A piercing in the left ear.

"No…" he whispered.

It was Yamada Takashi.

The antagonist.

The bastard.

And as if the world itself were mocking him, the door slammed open.

A girl in a wrinkled high school uniform, her face stained with tears, her belly already showing the signs of several months of pregnancy, looked at him as if he were her last hope.

"Yamada-kun… I didn't know where else to go."

Alex didn't know what to say.

The game was already over.

Now, his story was beginning.
