Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Resurrection × Ivan

The broken warehouse dome let raindrops fall through the cracks into the dilapidated warehouse, landing on the face of Ivan, who was lying in a pool of blood.

The cold rain stimulated Ivan's eyelids to twitch slightly, and then they slowly opened.

His eyes were of an emerald green with vertical pupils, not like those of humans, but more like those of some cold-blooded animals. However, this state did not last long, and they gradually turned into the pupils of a normal person, with light golden pupils that were very bright, matching his hair color.

The falling raindrops were very clear in Ivan's eyes, and he could even see the trajectory of each raindrop falling. But his attention was quickly diverted; part of it focused on the headache, and part on the pain in his chest that was gradually subsiding.

There was a lot of blood on his white plaid sweater, especially on his chest, which looked even more shocking. Raising his hand that was changing from wrinkles to smooth skin, Ivan touched his chest. He could feel the scar through the cut sweater, marking the fatal wound left on this new body before he "died." But now, the wound has been repaired by a kind of dark energy.

In his eyes, a type of dark energy floated towards him from the flesh and blood scattered around the warehouse. Ivan was not unfamiliar with this energy, as he knew from his memories that he had already started to contact this power. The name of this power is "Nen."

The only difference is that what is now converging towards his body is not the thoughts of the living, but the thoughts of the dead!

As for the scattered pieces of flesh, he also knows their source: the father of the original owner of the body he is now inhabiting. A judge named Lehman Zeppelin died and left behind.

Ivan sat up from the ground. He was not panicked by the current situation, as this was not the first time he experienced resurrection. The last time was eleven years ago when he was driving alone to a no-man's land, but he didn't expect that he would accidentally come to another world when he was in a near-death state in the no-man's land.

It was not the so-called hell, but the world of the comic book "Bizarre Adventure." At that time, Ivan realized that he was not dead, but had traveled through time!

He assumed a new identity, the second son of the Zeppelin family of the Kingdom of Naples, and was Jero Zeppelin's younger brother, Ivan Zeppelin. Now, other people's memories are pouring into his mind again, just like the first time he traveled through time, and Ivan concludes that he, in a dying state in the Devil's Palm Area, has traveled through time once more.

Although his name is still Ivan Zeppelin this time, he is no longer from the Kingdom of Naples, but from the Kakin Empire in Hunter x Hunter. The time has changed from 1890 to 1998.

While receiving the information in his memory, Ivan stood up from the ground. He had many wounds on his body, and even his nails were newly grown. In the memory, there are many scenes of him being tortured before his death. If it weren't for Lehman's arrangement, he might not have a chance to be resurrected now.

However, there should have been some mistakes in Lehman's arrangement, otherwise, it would only be his son who would be resurrected now, not the traveler who devoured his son's memory.

Additionally, by comparing the appearance of the person who tortured him in his memory, Ivan judged the identity of the other party. Their looks are so recognizable.

The purple tattoo on the leader's forehead, the blue earrings on his ears, the black coat with an inverted cross, and the cold and deep eyes that make it impossible to understand his thoughts all point to one person: the leader of the world-famous thieves gang, a high-risk A-level criminal, the leader of the Phantom Troupe, Chrollo.

Next to Chrollo is a blonde woman in formal clothes with a cold face, and a man wrapped like a mummy, with only his eyes exposed. The woman is Pakunoda, and the man is Phinks.

Ivan felt lucky enough to have survived in their hands. However, looking at the dark thoughts enveloping him, Ivan felt a little heavy, because this thought of resurrecting him contained too many things he could not bear; it was the last love a father left for his son.

Sighing, Ivan's heart was a little complicated now. He could feel that the dark death thoughts surrounding him did not belong to him, and he couldn't even control them! He felt that he might be as conspicuous as a light bulb in the eyes of a Nen ability user, which was not a good situation. But for the time being, he had no good way to resolve this kind of death thought, especially since this kind of death thought seemed to have special abilities, which were key to his resurrection.

Ivan quickly sorted things out in his mind, something he was very good at. He even had some ideas about his own crossing because both crossings involved one thing: near death.

The first time he was in the no-man's land, he was in a state of near death, and this time the crossing was also. When he crossed into the world of the adventure, it was impossible for him not to want to have a stand.

Especially since he was born in the Zeppelin family, he saw that his brother could master the spinning technique of the iron ball, but he could not learn because he was not the eldest son. How could he be willing?

So he kept working hard. He worked hard to join the royal guards and worked hard to participate in the STEEL BALL RUN competition, just to be able to learn the spinning technique and have a stand.

He really did it. In the Devil's Palm Area, he seized the Stand ability that should have belonged to Dr. Ferdinand, [Terrible Beast], from Diego.

But when he got everything, he was already in a state of near death. Now, he who should have died has ushered in a second time travel!

Ivan was a little curious, will he have a third time travel? But he would not gamble; the feeling of near death is not good at all, and who can be sure that the next time of near death will not be real death?

Ivan's eyes swept across the abandoned warehouse and moved his body. The death thoughts connecting him and the broken flesh quickly gathered towards his body with his movements, and then the scattered flesh and blood quickly vaporized and disappeared, as if they had never existed.

Ivan hesitated for a moment, and then bowed solemnly to the air: "I will avenge you."

Although this would make him and the brigade enemies, and even take the initiative to find trouble with the brigade, Ivan did not care too much about it. Because he and the brigade are not the same kind of people, and he knows that his resurrection will definitely arouse the curiosity of the brigade!

After the salute, he no longer hesitated and turned to walk towards the location of the warehouse stairs. He couldn't be sure how long the Phantom Troupe had been gone, and he couldn't be sure how long it would take for the people who wanted to capture him to arrive here. He didn't know how long it took him from death to resurrection.

But he knew that he definitely didn't have much time left. From his memory, he already knew that there might not be many people who wanted him dead, but there were definitely many people who wanted to get information from him. And these people didn't care whether he lived or died.

As for the information, it was not his, but something his father, the judge, had investigated. Ivan remembered clearly that before he was taken away by the Phantom Troupe, he was actually in the hands of the Xiuwuwu family, one of the three major gangs in Kakin.

The Xiuwuwu family also wanted the information, and they captured him to use him as a bargaining chip to exchange information from his father. For this, the Xiuwuwu family took a lot of risks.

Ivan was somewhat fortunate that he didn't know what the information was, let alone where it was. Otherwise, he estimated that he would not be able to survive being kidnapped by the Phantom Troupe, nor would he survive until his father found the Phantom Troupe.

In that case, what awaited them was a pure double death.

Now he was resurrected. But the trouble was not over. The current situation really gave Ivan a headache. Of course, he was really having a headache now.

A large amount of memories quickly poured in, and he had already felt a little dizzy. Fortunately, this symptom was also alleviated as he became familiar with it, otherwise he was really curious whether he could hold on until he left here.
