Due to their bad experience yesterday, Victoria continued to hold her husband's hand tightly. She was so afraid he would do something stupid again, even to the point of actually doing it to someone else to protect her. From the moment she woke up until breakfast, Victoria held her husband's body tightly, refusing to let go for a second. She knew that if she let go, she would regret it for the rest of her life. Fransisca would easily take Matthias from her.
"Tory, I'm done cooking," said Matthias, turning off the stove.
Victoria was reluctant to let go, already feeling comfortable in her husband's embrace. "I still want to hug you."
Matthias lifted his head right in front of his wife's face. "You've been so clingy since yesterday. Is it because you're still afraid?"
Victoria nodded shyly. "I don't want you to do anything stupid again. If you want to do something weird, you have to tell me."
