When he first cultivated after activating the rune, while wholly focused on guiding the refined mana and observing the rune, he had also noticed the commotion the mana converging toward him was causing.
Unfortunately, he had already started cultivating and couldn't stop. Fortunately, though, it appeared no one in the family noticed it and he was safe.
After that, he had decided to cultivate very late in the night but after returning from Amara's place, he didn't want to waste a few more hours doing nothing, so he just began cultivating, hoping that since he wasn't caught the first time, he wouldn't be caught this time either, especially since around an hour had passed and night had deepened.
But as they say, luck is not constant and he was caught. However, he wasn't too worried. At worst, he could just reveal he was now able to cultivate earlier.
So, at ease, he walked over and opened the door.
Upon seeing who it was, he relaxed a bit more.
