Alpha's POV
She just disappeared into air.
A bright light filled the room and everyone had to cover their eyes. The weird words she said were like a knife cutting through the air and leaving this silence. I stood there frozen. My wolf was shocked too. Everyone was, my mother.
Some of the maids who tried to get to her got thrown back. Hurt pretty badly. We had to call the pack's doctor to help them.
She is not like us.
People cannot do things like that.
I walked down the stairs looking at the spot where the light happened. The floor was all black and burned like someone had poured fire on it. The guards and maids were running around trying to help the people who got hurt.
My mother came to stand next to me looking just as confused and thoughtful as I was.
I was thinking hard.
Could it be? No the old stories said something
When I locked her up I heard her crying and screaming. I ignored her. My wolf was hurting too like we were connected or something. That should have scared me. It did not.
She cannot be the one I think she is.
Since the Moon Goddess put a curse on me I could not talk to my wolf like other werewolves do. I can only feel what he feels. His fear, his anger, his pain. I wish I could hear his voice maybe then he would tell me what she really is.

No that is impossible.
The curse said that cannot happen, especially if she is human.. What happened today showed me that she is not what I thought.
Everyone was staring at the burned floor trying to figure out what happened. My mother finally said something.
"The words she said were from a language that witches used a long time ago " she said quietly. "A girl her age should not know those words."
I turned to her raising my eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"
"Follow me " she said.
I sighed,. I did what she said. My mother has always been a bit weird. She changed after my father left her for someone
My father is a bastard.
Just thinking about him makes me angry. He hated me when I was a kid. He left my mother. Tried to make his new son the leader of the pack.
I stopped him.
The leadership is mine. I took it. When I became the leader he got really mad. Tried to curse me.
The Moon Goddess made the curse happen. Now I have to live with it. A leader is like a representative of the Moon Goddess.
I still remember that day.
My father was so angry. His words were like poison.
"My mother said, "We are here."
We were standing in the library looking at a painting of a woman I had never seen before. My mother was smiling, like she knew a secret.
She reached behind the painting. Found something.
The painting. There was a hidden door.
I was shocked. I watched as she went inside. After a moment I followed her.
The room was filled with writing on the walls and it felt like there was a lot of power in the air. I was amazed.
"I did not know there was a room, in the library " I said quietly.
