"Did she just [Flash]? But that's a Sorcerer spell that can't be acquire until level 50." Sarah whispered with fright, "There's no indicating effect, that's not a skill I recognize, she didn't even move."
We watched in a mixed of anticipation, shock, and confusion as she vanished again. The strange woman claiming to be CJS69 reappeared several meters back to the treeline where a mage was moving up behind her. His shields didn't even go up, he noticed a dashed backwards, yet was easily caught up and cut down.

"Get tight, form up, we have to retreat with minimal casualty," I ordered, summoning a simple longswords from my inventory. "There's eleven of us left and four of which is still level 3 and below. You four lower-levels have to start running first, back to the safezone. The seven that remains initiate the rear retreat manuver with me as the spearhead, Do not get greedy, she must be at least level 10 or something if she can one-shot Reggie."
"Guys," DreamDream added in while everyone was scrambling into position, "I think she only blink back to her former location, both cases she didn't blink forward or even left right."
That was a great observation of her. Although, I would like to have some confirmation, but with that mental note, it would be easier to take her down.
The team responded to my command, seven players who'd been farming a minute ago now grouped together flawlessly as planed.
We formed a spearhead, with me at the center aiming towards her as we began dashing backwards.
She could either attack me and get pinced, or the two sides and get surrounded. Retreating like this make sure we always have an eye on her, and the only way to break this formation was for her to somehow get to the two ends of the arrowhead, basically, running through us all and get behind where we were retreating without any clash.
One way to do that, was to have significant better speed stat and perception blitz us, which, impossible, unless she was level 50. Or to use a teleportation or stealth skill, which, was something only [Assassin] and [Sorcerer] could use, among some other niche classes.
Too much variable when you do not know your enemy.
"Don't get scared by her, Jack." DreamDream commented, "If she really can only blink backwards like I think she does, she would never break our formation."
Before I could answer her question, she dashed with great speed towards me.
Me, the melee fighter in the middle, the one most protected, and currently level 7, despite DreamDream being a support at the back of the line only level 4.
"Such familiar faces, hehe."
The woman with murderous eyes and scary smile said as she stabbed her Fool's Knife straight at my throat. I easily parried it with my longsword, yet she overpowered me and flung my entire momentum to the side, leaving me open.
Our level 5 [Tank] standing right next to me; another girl with the username LooseCannon took notice, she charged in and took my place when the supposed CJS69 tried cutting my neck.
"DON'T! IT'S A FEINT!"

CJS69's knife was blocked by LooseCannon's buckler, it was supposed to. But they haven't even made contact when she used her other arm to grabbed onto the tank's shoulder, using her as a pedestal of sorts to leap across and stab her in the neck, killing her instantly, as vital areas deal more damage.
'I should have equipped our tanks with better items.' I thought as she dropped dead, her body disappeared, leaving only a simple breastplate and buckler on the ground.
"You motherf…!"
Our [Ranger] shot an arrow to the airbourne CJS69. A perfectly reasonable choice by him, considering how there wasn't really any way for someone to manuver their body midair to dodge incoming attacks. Hence why in both real life and in Darkmoon Adventure throughout the years, Knock Up was the worst debuff to have in later stages of the game, because there was no counterplay.
CJS69 would definitely take an arrow to the heart, except she didn't.
She blinked, and before I knew it, there was a dagger to my heart.
I was too focused on where LooseCannon was and didn't noticed she blinked back to where CJS69 and I first clashed.
"Goodbye, J97." She whispered, as my HP drained to 0 from just one simple attack from the worst item in the game, "You still use this formation after all those years, though, it worked better in VR than in PC, I admit. Mufwehehe…"
It was actually her.
CJS69 is back… And it was a woman all along.
"R…Run…" I tried telling the other 5 that was still retreating, hoping that they could make it out, knowing that the [Lion's Parade] was taken down before we could even rise.
If I could give them a command, it was to run for themselves, because tactical retreat, or any other retreat for that matter wouldn't work with someone who can one shot you can blink around.
