In an almost completely dark space, a small human figure lay motionless, occasionally twitching, until suddenly, violet eyes snapped open and stared at the dark ceiling.
"Where am I?" The obvious question appeared in Lin's mind. He tried to sit up slightly, but his body refused to obey him, not allowing even the slightest movement.
"What the..."
He managed to lift his head slightly — fortunately, he could still do that — and looked down at his body, seeing it covered in countless insects that had turned his clothes into a new home.
Lin saw every possible type of insect, ones he'd only ever seen on his phone, now completely surrounding his body and treating it as their new habitat. Among the insect family were large black-and-red spiders, long centipedes with crimson armor, strange beetles with massive legs, and countless ants forming highways across his body.
