Puff—blood mist erupted from the chests of Yammy, Grimmjow, and Ruby. Terrified, the three staggered back at once, staring in disbelief at their wounds. Each bore a deep cut that reached the bone, crimson blood pouring freely, soaking their white uniforms and staining the air with the scent of iron. Their faces turned grim.

Yammy's wrist was already broken; now the bones in his other arm had shattered completely. Grimmjow, reduced to one arm, had seen his most lethal technique—the Leopard King's Claw—broken as if it were nothing. Ruby fared worst of all: the eight tentacles that were her pride had turned translucent. Four on the right had been cleanly severed by a single blade, while the four on the left hung limp and deformed, their structure ruined.

Su Li casually tossed aside the torn fragments, patting the dust from his hand as if the destruction meant nothing.

"Gulu…" Rukia swallowed hard, stealing glances at the boy beside her. With such power at her side, she felt no fear. To him, this battle was nothing more than a game; victory was his to take at will. At first she had wanted to help, to shoulder part of the pressure, but instead she had become someone simply carried to victory. Strangely, rather than shame, the realization filled her with joy. The boy had chosen to win together with her, and that alone mattered more than triumph itself. Winning together—being trusted to stand by his side—that was everything.

Her face warmed faintly. She remembered the moment his hand had brushed hers, and her fingers unconsciously rubbed against one another as though clinging to the lingering heat.

Su Li, oblivious to her thoughts, was considering which opponent to dismantle next. Yammy's strength was gone, both arms crippled. Grimmjow had lost his claw and his will to attack. Ruby's tentacles were destroyed, her wrist shattered, her strikes feeble. The three had lost the initiative completely, standing across from him with grim expressions, fully aware of a truth they had never wanted to face: this was not a battle between equals.

Arrancar had become the underdogs. Su Li was the overwhelming advantage. He crushed them so easily that even bringing along a girl they considered a novice had not slowed him in the slightest. In fact, not once had she been touched by harm. That reality chilled their hearts, a thought surfacing among them unbidden—if Su Li had come alone, would their defeat have been even faster?

Fear crawled down their spines.

Not all shared such thoughts. Vandawise's empty head produced none. Instead, his purple eyes glimmered as light converged, charging toward the boy and girl above. Ruby caught the movement, her one good hand rising without hesitation. Yammy and Grimmjow's expressions hardened; they understood instantly. This was no longer the time for pride or one-on-one duels. Against this enemy, survival itself demanded unity.

Four Cero flared at once, their beams charging with devastating force.

Rukia's throat tightened, her body tensing as she watched. These were not ordinary Cero. These were Espada Cero—the flashes of kings ruling over Hueco Mundo's four corners.

"Rukia, stand behind me." Su Li's voice was calm.

She flushed faintly at the words, but obeyed, stepping behind him with a strange sense of safety blooming in her chest as she gazed at his back.

"Four Cero at once…" Hirako Shinji's eyes narrowed. "How does he intend to deal with that?"

Hiyori scowled. "Are we really not helping? If he takes that head on, he'll be blown apart!"

"He won't do that," Shinji muttered. "Not directly. He's too fast—he'll dodge. No one's stupid enough to face Cero salvo head-on."

Hiyori nodded, relief softening her tone. From their perspective, Su Li's speed rendered him nearly untouchable. As long as he moved, the beams would never catch him. Their worry faded.

But Kurosaki Ichigo, still half-conscious, forced his head up. His face was pale as he stared at the boy above.

Then, with a thunderous boom, the four Espada released their Cero in unison. Explosions ripped the air apart. The ground buckled, branches splintered, and houses shattered into debris. Four beams of searing color carved through the sky, converging on Su Li.

And Su Li… raised his hand slowly.

Shinji and Hiyori froze in shock, leaping to their feet. "He intends to take it?! Are you insane, Su Li?! That's suicide!"

To clash with one Espada's Cero was already to risk grievous wounds. To face four at once—the combined flashes of kings—was destruction beyond even most Bankai.

But the boy ignored them. His hands rose before him, and his voice murmured faintly. "With my current body… if I use this… what will happen?"

Rukia's eyes widened as she peeked past his shoulder. His arm was turning pitch black, metallic luster flowing across the surface like liquid steel. She did not know what it meant, only that if he failed to stop those beams, they would die together.

And yet, even now, part of her heart whispered foolishly: if we die together… is that not also fate?

The corner of Su Li's mouth twitched faintly. For so long, many techniques he had learned had never seen the light of day. Not because he could not use them, but because his opponents were unworthy of them. But now—three Espada, Vandawise, and four full-strength Cero at once—finally, an attack worth unveiling something new.

He wanted to know how far his current body could go. How much it could endure.

The blackened skin gleamed with a name whispered only to himself.

Armament Haki.
