Chapter 64 - 64: Her gaze

They advanced closer before Danika could make head of what Urmaa was trying to tell her. Run? But to where.

They still had a week left before the coronation ceremony, why would she have to leave before their proposed departure date?

"There she is! Witch!" An elderly man shouted, holding a club in his hand.

Danika could finally see them, the people who had chased Urmaa out of their home where they had left her resting down to this place. But for what reasons and why were they calling her a witch? Not that she had done anything yet to warrant such a name.

"I say we tie her up and burn her on a spike" a woman said.

Danika glared at her, rage flushing in her veins. Why would she say such a thing to someone else's child. As an elderly woman, she expected that she would try to calm the aggrieved mob down but instead she was encouraging others to tie up someone's child and set her on fire?
