Chapter 1 - 1

On a bright blue Sunday, the streets of a small Moroccan town came alive with the rhythm of a football match.

Children chased the ball through sunlit alleyways, laughter echoing between stone walls and pastel-colored doors. The air carried the scent of grilled meat, spice, and heat yet amidst the noise and chaos, one boy moved like silence.

He didn't just play.

He orchestrated.

Every pass flowed through him. Every attack began with his touch.

Where others reacted, he predicted.

Where others hesitated, he created.

Even the smallest flick of his foot carried intention. Every look, every move, felt like part of a script only he could read.

His name was Zeph Noor, a name whispered with pride in his neighborhood.

At just fourteen, he had done what none in his community had ever managed secure a spot in the PSG Academy. The scouts called him gifted. The locals called him a miracle.

But miracles don't come without pain.

Zeph was an orphan.

His parents were taken in a car crash when he was just nine. His grandparents his last ties to family passed of old age four years later.

Since then, he had lived alone in a cramped apartment. Alone, except for the game.

Sports was his only home.

This match was his last before leaving for Paris.

He played not for trophies, not for scouts but for the dusty streets that raised him, the barefooted friends who cheered his every step, and the part of him that would never return here again.

When the final goal was scored a curling left-footed beauty from Zeph his friends surrounded him, clapping him on the back, shouting his name. But he only smiled softly.

A part of him was already somewhere else.

Later that evening, Zeph walked home alone.

He passed shuttered market stalls, familiar walls with faded murals, and the alley where his grandfather once watched him juggle a ball for hours. He reached his door, unlocked it, and stepped into silence.

Dinner was simple—bread, lentils, and mint tea.

No TV. No phone. Just him, his thoughts, and a backpack packed for the morning.

He laid on the mattress on the floor and stared at the ceiling.

"Tomorrow, everything changes…"

But fate had other plans.

2:47 AM

The world was dark. Silent.

And then—

*DING* *DING*

A soft chime echoed in his mind.

Then a voice—calm, cold, digital.

Zeph sat up, eyes wide.

"…Am I dreaming?"

He blinked. The interface hovered, golden and glowing, just beyond his field of vision—like a HUD from a game. But this wasn't a game.

This was real.

His hands trembled, but not from fear.

"What is this?"

"Why me?"

"What do you mean… Legacy?"

He hesitated only a second—then reached forward mentally and chose:

→ ACCEPT

The screen flashed, and suddenly, Zeph felt a pulse surge through his body.
