Elara tried hard to control her laugh, finding Lucien suddenly amusing. It had been a while since she saw him when he used to hang around Liora.
But she never knew Lucien even had the guts to talk bad about a count, and that too in front of his wife.
"Okay, he is just consoling you and nothing else. Don't take his words to heart."
Seraphine breathed a sigh of relief after seeing Elara giggling like a little girl. This meant she didn't take his words to heart at all and even seemed amused.
"Lucien, say sorry to Elara and let this matter rest. No matter what your intention is, it isn't good to insult others like this."
Seeing that the situation was right, Seraphine looked at her son and asked him to apologize.
Unfortunately, she did not realize that Lucien was not someone who would bow his head and offer apologies so easily.
