"Last time on Total Drama Action!" Chris began as he gestured to two images of Ronnie Anne and Lincoln that popped up. "He was a boy, she was a girl. A true loving couple, it was a tale as old as time…at least until they broke up and started to completely hate each other! And last week on Total Drama Action we saw that hate in full! Lincoln and Ronnie Anne picked the teams they'd use to stick it to each other, but while Lincoln proved to be a competent leader, Ronnie Anne just stuck to the tried and true method of yelling at everyone to get what she wanted. Meanwhile two men made an illegal alliance, and Harold proved to have mad thespian skills that completely trumped Lindsay being a grandmother with a horrible case of dementia. It was all too much for Chef's tender heart. The Grips were ready to say goodbye to their not-so-wonderful leader but Ronnie Anne formed an alliance with the devious Heather and handsome stud Justin to form a trinity of pure evil! And with their powers combined they were able to convince their team to say goodbye to bad luck Beth. Will Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's hate for each other only escalate? Will the new locks finally keep Owen out of the crafts truck? Will my non-fat vanilla soy latte ever get here?"
"Sorry!" Lily apologized as she walked up to Chris holding a coffee. "The machine was hard to figure out."
"Ah, there we go," Chris smiled as he took a sip of the coffee and hummed in satisfaction. "Well for all the answers to the remaining questions, tune in right now for another tear jerking episode of Total. Drama. Action!"
"Ok! OK! I think I got it this time!" Izzy told Dawn as she once again started hanging out with the aura reader in her tree. The psycho hose beast doing her best to master the art of hanging upside down. "I don't even feel the blood going to my head! Quick question, is hearing color normal?"
"Heheh, not exactly," Dawn giggled a bit in amusement. "You might wanna go back down Izzy,"
Izzy shrugged before falling down, landing right on her face not that she seemed to mind too much. "Hahaha, oh well!" Izzy giggled, snorting a bit as she stood back up. "I'm getting better! I'll discover your secrets eventually Dawn!"
"Oy, what's goin' on out here?" Emerging from the tent that was set up was Jasmine wearing her PJ's. the noise that Izzy was creating ended up waking her up…again. But Jasmine wasn't mad, she found Izzy to be rather amusing. "Ah, all this again haha. What's the record now?"
"Over half an hour," Dawn explained as Izzy seemed to examine Jasmine a bit. "She's really been improving the last few days."
"Hey Jasmine! I got a few questions for you!" Izzy said as she walked up to the Australian and jumped up on her back, making Jasmine stagger a bit as Izzy hung on by Jasmine's shoulders. "How'd you get so tall? Are your parents giants? Is it true Australia is home to the world's deadliest animals because I heard Africa's got some nasty Honey Badgers! Hahaha!"
"Woah, woah, easy there cheeky little bugger," Jasmine chuckled good naturedly as she grabbed Izzy off her and held the psycho hose beasts up with complete ease. "One at a time, ok?"
Meanwhile watching them interact and drawing the scene in his journal was Lincoln who was sitting on the steps to the guys' trailer with Edward in his lap. The white haired boy smiled in amusement at the sight as he got all the details down.
CONFESSIONAL – Lincoln
"Ya know I expected Dawn and Jasmine to get along but seeing Izzy with them was a bit of a surprise." Lincoln said with a small chuckle, happy that Dawn was having fun hanging out with some of the others, even if one of them was on his ex's team. "But hey maybe Dawn can help Izzy control some of her more…chaotic tendencies, also help her patch things with Owen. It's hard watching the big guy try so hard only to keep getting constantly shot down.
Later on at the mess hall, Chef was serving everyone some sort of…brown slop and various other breakfast foods. "Ew…" Heather let out as Chef served her some of the brown slop, the queen bee cringing in disgust. "Now I know how starlets stay thin…"
"Wish Chef would let me in the kitchen," Harold spoke up from behind Heather. "I got me some mad culinary skills."
"Do you mind?" Heather glared at Harold before walking away. "I was talking to my slop."
"Ok Mr. Coconut." And over on one of the tables, Owen was graciously sharing his breakfast with his best fruity friend Mr. Coconut. "Open up wide now!"
"Grrrr…" Watching from in line was Tyler, with Lincoln right behind him in line. "Lincoln bro…I think I'm gonna lose it…"
"Just…let him do his thing Tyler." Lincoln slowly told the jock as he patted him on the shoulder. At this point yeah the coconut thing was really starting to become kind of weird and creepy. At the very least it didn't really do anything bad. "It's harmless."
"Not for me…" Tyler groaned out.
CONFESSIONAL – Tyler
"Ever since Owen got eliminated last season, he spent practically every day talking to that stupid coconut!" Tyler ranted in the confessional, remembering all the times at the resort Owen creeped everyone out with his obsession over that stupid fruit. "Plus he was gonna split some of the money with it during our whole guy alliance thing when we tried to get the million the first time! It drives me crazy! Seriously, fruits rot right? How has that thing not rotted yet?!"
Trent had decided to get a big plate of scrambled egg pieces, but what eggs were complete without salt? Trent picked up the salt shaker to put some on his eggs…only for the top to fall off and spill the whole thing on his eggs. "Ouf, that sucks," Mike commented, sitting across from Trent.
"Ahahaha!" And of course the one to pull the classic childish prank was Duncan who laughed when Trent fell into his trap. "Sorry for the morning assalt!"
"Third grade called," Gwen commented as she sat down next to Trent. "You're due back in class."
"Very mature man," Trent rolled his eyes as he scooped some of the salt off his eggs with his hands. "Don't you know it's bad luck to spill salt?"
Trent then threw the handful of salt over his shoulder…accidently throwing it into Tyler's eyes. "Ah! Ah!" Tyler shouted out as he dropped his tray and began rubbing his now red eyes. "I'm blind bro!"
"Nothing a little pepper won't fix," Trent went to put some pepper on his eggs only to see Duncan messed with that too and all the pepper went onto his eggs. "Aw come on!"
Trent then tried to throw the pepper away too but again it hit Tyler right in the face. "Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!" Tyler sneezed as he tried to run away, only to crash and trip over a table and land in a very uncomfortable position on the floor. "Ooooww…"
"It's bad luck for someone alright…" Mike said slowly as he and Trent looked at each other in pity.
"Ahahahaha!" Duncan laughed even harder at Tyler's misfortune as he walked up to Trent. "So you still gonna finish those eggs bro?"
"Sure, go ahead." Trent rolled his eyes and pushed his plate over to Duncan. "Risk getting salt poisoning." Duncan shrugged as he happily helped himself to Trent's eggs.
Over at one of the other tables, DJ was picking at his food with a fork. Ever since the last challenge, a lot was on the brickhouse's mind. The secret alliance he had with Chef had him…stressed to say the least. "Hey mate, you all good?" Sitting in front of him was Jasmine, who gave DJ a look of sympathy. "Don't feel like eating? Can't say I blame you, still can't believe you lot lived off this slop for an entire summer."
"O-Oh, it's not that…well, not entirely." DJ did cringe as he poked at his food and it made some squishing sounds. If Momma saw this kind of food she'd have a heart attack over this blatant crime of food. "I just…have a lot on my mind is all…"
"Ya wanna talk about it," Jasmine kindly offered with a soft smile. "It always helps to talk about things to a good ear, and I got two to spare,"
DJ chuckled a bit at Jasmine's words, feeling himself feel a little better thanks to her kindness. "N-Not right now but…thanks Jasmine," DJ told her sincerely. "I really appreciate it,"
"Hey, think nothing of it mate," Jasmine reassured him as she gave DJ a big thumbs up. "We're teammates, we gotta support each other."
CONFESSIONAL – DJ
"This alliance with Chef has me totally freaked out," DJ sighed out as he looked down in guilt. He knew this alliance was wrong, that it was against the rules but…he was too afraid to say no to Chef. "I mean…what if the others find out? What would they think of me if they knew Chef was helping me out…"
"Hey Bridge," As Bridgette was getting her food Geoff, who already got his breakfast, decided to spend some time with his girlfriend before they had to begin the next challenge which most thought it would be today. "You're looking pretty hot today~"
"Heheh, thanks Geoff," Bridgette giggled a bit, blushing a bit at her boyfriend's praise. Geoff always knew how to make her heart flutter. "Not looking too bad yourself~"
"Aw you noticed huh?" Geoff grinned as he showed off his chest to the surfer girl. "Been doing some reps in my freetime, make sure I'm totally at top performance for whatever the Chris man has in store~"
"Maybe I could watch you later~" Bridgette asked, leaning close to Geoff. "If that's ok~"
"Heh, I don't think I'd mi-OW!" But in the middle of flirting with her, Geoff found someone grabbing onto and pulling on his ear and dragging him away from Bridgette. Pulling himself free, Geoff rubbed his ear and looked to see it was his team's leader Ronnie Anne that pulled him away and was giving him a scowl. "Hey, what was that for dude?"
"Newsflash cowboy," Ronnie Anne stated like it was obvious. "You're on MY team. You can't talk to her."
"What? We're not even in a challenge," Geoff pointed out, glaring down at Ronnie Anne. "You can't keep me from talking to my girl."
"I don't care," Ronnie Anne began glaring at Geoff, not happy that the party dude was defying her. "She's on the opposite team,"
"She's still my girlfriend." But Geoff stood his ground as he crossed his arms. "You can't tell me who I can, and can't hang out with!"
"Oh yes I can, I'M team leader!" Ronnie Anne stated in a more threatening tone as she got right in Geoff's face. "And I say BUZZ OFF!!!"
"Hey Ronnie Anne!" Before things could escalate, Justin came in and grabbed Ronnie Anne by her shoulders and pulled her away from Geoff, the model had his usual confident flawless smile on. "I need to talk to you about something, let's sit down and discuss."
"Tch…" Ronnie Anne let out.
"Seriously," Leshawna spoke up after everyone witnessed that little scene, the girl with a tude looking right at Lincoln. "What did you see in her?"
"Trust me, I have no idea," Lincoln openly admitted as he wrapped an arm around Dawn not caring at all that Ronnie Anne heard him. "Her brother and my sister were dating and we just happened because of that,"
"Hmph…" Ronnie Anne gave Lincoln a heated glare as she sat down with Justin, Heather sitting in front of the two. "Ramita de pelo blanco."
"Perra culo gordo," Lincoln said back, making Ronnie Anne's eyes widened before growling.
"Hold up," DJ spoke up as a few surprised looks were sent Lincoln's way. "You speak Spanish?"
"Spent a lot of time with her family," Lincoln explained with a fond smile. He may not like Ronnie Anne, not even as a friend anymore, but he did enjoy the time he spent with her family and extended family. He and Bobby were of course still tight, Maria, Carlos and Frida were always nice, Rosa made food that rivaled his dad's, Hector was a lot of fun like his own Pop-Pop, he liked hanging out with CJ, he babysat for Carl and Carlitos before, and Carlota proved to be really cool to hang out with. "Her grandmother ended up teaching me."
"Wow that's cool," Mike complimented. "I've always wanted to learn how to speak another language."
"Yeah same here," Duncan spoke up, giving Lincoln an impressed look. "Have to teach me sometime snowball, always wanted to learn how to swear in other languages."
"Should've expected that from you," Gwen chuckled a bit as she gave Duncan an amused look. "Looking to get arrested in other countries are we?"
"It's on my bucket list," Duncan admitted proudly.
"Hey," Ronnie Anne sent Duncan a quick glare. "What'd I say about mingling with the other team?"
"Oh I remember," Duncan shrugged, not bothering to even look at his team's leader. "I just don't care,"
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Ok, that punk wanna be better start listening to me!" Ronnie Anne growled out in irritation, the Latina clearly pissed at Duncan completely dismissing her orders. "Or else he's the next one to go!"
"What are you doing?" Justin asked Ronnie Anne as he and Heather gave disapproving looks to Ronnie Anne. After the scene she caused the two of them decided to start an alliance meeting before things got too bad. "You're trying to get Geoff and the others to hate you more than they already do?"
"So what if they do?" Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. If this is what the two wanted to tell her then they were wasting her time. "If you haven't noticed our team kinda sucks, so I need to get everyone under control."
"True, but this isn't the way to do it," Heather, the clear expert on controlling people, informed Ronnie Anne. This girl clearly didn't know how to play the game and if this alliance was gonna work then they needed to teach her and fast. "If you want these losers to do what you want, then you need to be more subtle in your approach,"
"Pffft, Subtle?" Ronnie Anne laughed as she looked over Heather. "Coming from you? That's a riot."
"Oh please, I'm a master in the art of manipulation." Heather stated before looking around. Seeing any potential weaknesses in the other players, Heather scouted for any opportunity to prove to Ronnie Anne that she knew what she was talking about. In fact, she spotted the perfect one as she saw Trent talking to Mike while his girlfriend seemed to be engaged in a conversation with Duncan at the corner of the tent, the two having moved to avoid Ronnie Anne. "In fact, watch and learn."
Justin and Ronnie Anne watched as Heather walked up to Trent, Trent sending her a glare with Mike immediately looking nervous. "Say Trent, you know I can't help but notice that Gwen and Duncan seem to be getting along pretty well," Heather pointed out as she gestured over to where the goth and punk were hanging out, Trent looking in their direction as well. "Looks like someone should be worried."
"Tch, why would I?" Trent asked, immediately knowing what Heather was up to. He wasn't gonna let the queen bee play him like that. "So they have a lot in common, nothing wrong with that."
"Really? Nothing at all?" Heather tried to get into Trent's head with this. So he seemed to resist her manipulation attempts but she was confident she could still mess with him. "They might be TOO close."
"First, I trust Gwen. She wouldn't cheat on me." Trent stood up and got right in Heather's face to show her there was no way he was gonna let her mess with him like this. "Secondly, how insecure do you think I am? My girlfriend is allowed to have guy friends."
"But-" Seeing she was losing ground, Heather tried to speak up again but Trent wasn't gonna let her.
"And thirdly, as if I'd listen to anything YOU say." Trent glared harshly at Heather as he poked her shoulder. "You read Gwen's diary on national TV, treated Lindsay and Beth like they were slaves, and rigged the votes on Dawn and that's just the stuff I can name at the top of my head. I wouldn't trust anything you'd say."
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"If I knew that'd all come back to bite me I would've been more discreet about it…" Heather grumbled as she crossed her arms.
"Grrrr…" Heather grumbled as she walked away. The clearing of a throat got her attention as she looked up to see Ronnie Anne and Justin smirking at her with Ronnie Anne raising up her hand before making a falling whistling sound before making an explosion sound effect when her hand hit the table. "Oh get bent."
Suddenly the sound of a whistle blowing got everyone's attention as they all looked to see Chris entering the tent wearing a pair of sunglasses and a surfboard in his hands. "Hang on to your coconuts players!" Chris announced to everyone as all attention was directed towards him. "We're going back to the beach!"
"Woohoo!" Owen cheered with his usually goofy grin on his face.
"Alright!" Bridgette also grinned, happy to be going back to her natural element for this challenge.
"Ever seen one of those 1950's surfer movies?" Chris asked, revealing the genre of the challenge with his question. "Ya know the ones where the kids get up to neato fun before the big bonfire twistathon, and the bully kicks the sand castle in the nerdy guy's face?"
Everyone merely looked confused at Chris' words, but Harold nodded his head. "Oh you bet!" Bridgette smiled widely, getting even more excited about this challenge. "Me and my mom watch those all the time together!"
"Same here dude!" Geoff grinned as he looked at Chris. "Heck me and the buds practically live those movies everyday!"
"Well get ready to do it again Geoff my man," Chris revealed as the party dude pumped up his fist in excitement. "Two challenges, followed by a tie breaker if necessary. So grab your swim suits!"
Everyone then followed Chris out of the tent to go change into their swimsuits, but before DJ could leave Chef grabbed onto his shoulder. "If the sand castle thing goes down, make sure you're the kicker," Chef instructed DJ making the brickhouse gulp a bit and shakily nod his head. "Not the kicky!"
Everyone was excited to head to the beach when they changed into their swimsuits…only for those hopes to be dashed and blown away by powerful air conditioning. "H-H-H-Hey?" Bridgette spoke up as she and everyone else, sans Dawn, was shivering wildly. Instead of going to the beach they were inside a set with a small pool set up in front of a green screen with a mechanical surfboard set up. And the air conditioning was cranked up to the max making it absolutely freezing. "I-I-I tho-thought you s-s-said we-we'd be on the b-b-beach…"
"As some of you may notice," Chris began, the host wearing a thick parka in comparison to everyone's swimsuits. "We're inside the film studio."
"A-A-And the AC i-is cranked up b-because?" Duncan violently shivered.
"All the camera's and lights can get so hot, they can melt poor Chef's heart," Chris gestured to Chef who waved innocently to the contestants, wearing a wool hat and scarf. "And the network told my agents sweaty wasn't a good look for me. Your challenge, hang ten this deck into the big blue without swallowing tail in the soup?"
"What did you just ask me to do?" Leshawna narrowed her eyes at Chris, thinking he was telling them to do something there was no way they were going to do.
"What he means," Luckily Trent quickly calmed her down, the guitarist understanding what Chris meant. "Whoever stays on the surfboard longest wins."
"Exactamundo groovy cats," Chris nodded his head as he pointed at Trent. "We'll go from team to team, Gaffers you won so you get to go first. Then one of the Grips will go and so on until everyone's had their turn on the board. So both teams take your time to decide what order you'll all be going in. Winning team gets a half hour start on the next challenge,"
"Alright, so who here knows how to surf? I know Bridgette is our go to surfer and she taught me a bit but anyone else have any surfing skills?" Lincoln asked his team, already forming a plan in his head. A few hands were raised other than his own and Bridgettes consisting of Harold, Mike, Trent, and Leshawna. "Ok here's how we'll do it, our least experienced surfers will go first and see what kind of obstacles Chris has in store for us so the rest can prepare for it, Bridgette you're our best surfer so you'll go last and finish big for us."
"Sounds good to me," Bridgette nodded in agreement before looking at everyone else. "All agreed?"
"Agreed!" The entire team said in unison.
"Ok then," Lincoln smiled, glad his team again agreed on the plan. "Now we need to decide on the order," Lincoln put his finger to his chin as he tried to decide on the order, but as he thought he noticed that Dawn was looking up at him with a blush. "What?"
"Oh nothing it's just…" Dawn giggled a bit as she observed Lincoln's body. Sure she certainly got a good view of it before the show but she still certainly enjoyed what she saw. "You look really good right now~"
"Oh come on," Lincoln chuckled a bit as he waved off the compliment. "I'm not too much to look at,"
"Nah man, you really do look good," DJ complimented as he lightly poked Lincoln's chest. Sure Lincoln was pretty skinny for the most part back on the island and quite frankly still was, but if you looked closely you could see he had some muscle developed on him. Looks like all those challenges really helped him bulked up. "Starting to get some gains man,"
"Heh, you really think so?" Lincoln asked as he looked at his own body.
"Oh please," Speaking up and rolling her eyes, Ronnie Anne spoke up after overhearing what Dawn and DJ said about Lincoln's body. "You may have toughened up but you're still a twig. Switching to eating leaves certainly isn't doing any favors."
"Maybe you should try it," Lincoln said to Ronnie Anne with a smirk as he pointed to her rather wide bottom half. "Help trim down that fat butt of yours."
"Ahahaha!" That immediately got a few loud laughs from various contestants, even some on Ronnie Anne's team, as the Hispanic teen felt her face go red with embarrassment and rage.
CONFESSIONAL – Duncan
"Ahahahah! Oh that was a good one!" Duncan wiped a tear of laughter from his eye as he leaned back in his seat. "We may be on different teams but credit where credit is due. Snowball's definitely gotten better at trash talking, I'm impressed."
"Gaffers, time to pick which groovy dude's gonna be hanging ten," Chris announced, although he was enjoying the banter they still had to get on with the challenge. "Lincoln, has your team decided the order of who's going when?"
"Yes we have Chris," Lincoln nodded as his team stepped up. "The order will be Jasmine, Gwen, DJ, Leshawna, Mike, Dawn, Harold, Trent, me, and ending with Bridgette,"
"Got it," Chris nodded as he wrote down the order on a clipboard. "Grips, your order?"
"Tyler, Lindsay, Izzy, Owen, Heather, Justin, me, Duncan, and then Geoff." Ronnie Anne listed the order for her team, having not really discussed it with them.
"Sounds good," Chris then wrote down the Grips' order before pointing at Jasmine. "Alright Jasmine, time to make Australian surfers proud!"
"Here we go…" Jasmine said with a bit of an unsure tone as she climbed up to the pool and got onto the small mechanical surfboard, immediately struggling to balance. "W-W-Woah…"
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"Being tall has a ton of advantages." Jasmine explained before putting on a nervous look. "But balancing on a tiny surfboard…isn't one of them,"
"And welcoming back season fan favorites…" Chris grinned as he pointed to the pool and immediately some very familiar fins popped up from the water making everyone's eyes widen. "The sharks!"
Immediately some of the sharks jumped up from the pool, loudly snapping their jaws. "Oh bloody hell…" Jasmine let out before the board started moving, making rapid movements to try and throw Jasmine off. The Australian Amazon tried staying on the board as her long legs made balancing difficult. Not long after the board started, Jasmine fell into the pool. The sharks quickly went for her with widened mouths but Jasmine merely glared at them before letting out a loud roar. "ROOOOOOOARR!!!" The sharks flinched as Jasmine gave them a fierce predatory look and the aquatic predators quickly dived down to escape. "Hah! Now who's the boss, you oversized sushi rolls!"
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"Classic law of the wild, once you show that you're the biggest and meanest critter around, no one else will mess with ya," Jasmine pointed out with a confident smile, showing off a bit of her knowledge of wilderness survival. "And trust me I have experience with some mean critters, Australia's home to 11 of the most dangerous animals in the world. This includes the Box Jellyfish, Bull Shark, Saltwater Crocs, just about all of our snakes, and my cat Mr. Whiskers."
"Wow…ten seconds," Chris said disappointedly as Jasmine got out of the water. "Australian surfers everywhere are wallowing in disappointment. Tyler, you're up."
"Alright! Let's do this!" Tyler grinned as he ran up to the pool and eagerly hopped onto the board. Now was the chance to really show off his athletic skills to his team, and most importantly Lindsay. "Bring it on!"
Chris grinned and happily turned the surfboard on and made it begin moving around. Tyler was confident that he'd do well…until he was immediately sent off his feet and face planted on the board. "Ow!" The board then jerked up and launched him up and caused him to face plant on the board yet again. And again. And again. And again. Until finally the board launched him away, sending Tyler flying towards one of the air conditions and landing on top of it. "Oooooww…hang…ten…dudes…"
"Epic wipeout, but sadly worse time, nine seconds," Chris announced, making Ronnie Anne facepalm as Lindsay ran off to go check on Tyler. "Gwen, you're up."
"Fantastic…" Gwen sighed out as she got onto the board. The goth girl looked down and saw the sharks have once again emerged from the water with their fin sticking up over the water. "Um, are the sharks seriously necessary?"
"No, but I like them," Chris grinned as he started the board again. Gwen let out a yell as she immediately struggled to stay on the board. An introverted pale skinned gal like her wasn't really used to hitting the beach and has never even gotten on top of a surfboard before, so when it started jerking her around she had no idea how to stay on and soon fell into the water. The sharks quickly charged at Gwen causing the goth to scream as she swam to the edge of the pool and jumped out before they could munch on her. "9 seconds again…you all really stink at this. Lindsay, you're up."
"Yeah!" Lindsay clapped her hands as she got up on the board with Chris immediately starting it. Lindsay had a bit of trouble balancing at first but seemed to quickly get the hang of it as she held her arms out and got a good footing. Everything seemed to be going well for her…until Chris flipped a switch and changed the back of the green screen to a twister on a Kansas farm with Chef turning on a huge fan that blew with enough force to send Lindsay flying off the board and onto the green screen. "Ow…"
"15 seconds," Chris listed off Lindsay's time as the Grips took the slight lead. "Better than Jasmine's time, but still kinda sucky. DJ, you're up."
"Oh boy…" DJ shivered a bit as the green screen changed to a beach again as DJ got on the board. After it started DJ held his arms out to try and balance himself, but it looked like the sharks were getting more aggressive and aggravated at being denied prey as they leapt up to try and snap at DJ…taking his suit in the process and leaving him naked. "AAAAAHHH!!!"
DJ quickly covered himself as he hopped off the board and ran off. "The body's a beautiful thing!" Chef called out to DJ as he ran away. "You don't need a suit!"
"Woohoo! Yeah!" Next up was Izzy who proved to actually do a rather good job at staying on the board. Especially when it started speeding up at which point Izzy was treating it more like riding a mechanical bull rather than a surfboard. "Yippie kay-aye! Ride em cowboy! Hahahah!"
"Well she may be crazy but at least she's useful," Ronnie Anne smirked as Izzy continued giving them a bigger lead. "Looks like we might actually win this one."
Just then the sharks came jumping up over the water trying to snap at Izzy. "Oooo feisty!" Izzy grinned as she jumped off the board and landed on one of the sharks. The shark swam around rapidly and jumped and flailed around to try and get Izzy off it, but the psycho hose beast grabbed onto its fin tightly to stay on. "I'm queen of the sharks! Yeah! Nothing can stop me now!"
"Ya know, almost tempted to give her points for this," Chris grinned at the sight before stopping the timer. "But off the board is off the board! But hey Grips take a huge lead at 2 minutes and 11 seconds, finally a decent surfer."
"Izzy…" Ronnie Anne growled out, right as she started complimenting the crazy girl Izzy immediately failed them.
"Present!" Izzy grinned as she leaped off the shark to join her team again.
"Alright fools, bring it on!" Leshawna grinned as she got on the board next. She may not be the most experienced surfer but she had determination and attitude. And that carried her pretty well as even when the board started going crazy Leshawna managed to stay on. Until Chris grinned as he flipped a switch and suddenly the surfboard began vibrating like crazy making it even more difficult to balance on. "W-W-W-Woah! What's up with this crazy thing!?"
And with that Leshawna was launched off and had to quickly swim away from the sharks. "One minute and 57 seconds, best Gaffer time so far but not quite as good as Izzy." Chris stated as Owen stepped up next. "You're up big guy!"
"Cowabunga!" Owen grinned as he stepped onto the board…only for the board to break under his weight causing Owen to fall into the water. The resulting splash launched all the water out of the pool and sent the sharks flopping onto the floor with Owen exiting the now empty pool through a door on the side. "Oh man! I'm so sorry shark dudes! Really I'm so sorry!"
"Ok, break time!" Chris announced as he made a time out gesture with his hands. "Union rules!"
"Finally," Heather let out, thankfully now Chris was starting to be reasonable.
"I don't mean you shark bait," Chris dashed Heather's hope as it was the sharks that got the break, complete with bathrobes and hot tea. Soon enough Chef filled up the pool again and another mechanical board was installed into it. "Ok let's get back on track! Mike you're up."
"Well this is a relief." Mike sighed out as he stepped onto the board. "Without the sharks this shouldn't be so bad,"
"Yeah, which is why we're gonna need a substitute." Chris grinned as he pulled up a walkie talkie. "Bring it in!"
Suddenly the doors to the set opened up and coming in driving a golf cart was Lily, wearing winter gear, grinning madly as she dragged in what looked like a turret gun. "Hey guys!" Lily waved to everyone as she stopped the golf cart in front of Chris. Lily then hopped out of the cart and jumped up on the gun grabbing the handles and making everyone uneasy. "Load up the gulls Chris!"
"Did she say gulls?" Dawn asked with a shocked expression.
"Why yes Dawn," Chris grinned as he pulled up the ammunition they'd be using for the gun…seagulls. Loading them in, Mike's eyes widened as Lily aimed the gun right at him. "Yes I did. Fire at will Lily!"
"Bird in the hole!" As the surfboard started Lily began firing seagulls at Mike.
"Ah!" Mike screamed out as he desperately tried to avoid the onslaught of gulls. "Oh crap! Oh crap! Oh Crap!"
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"Those poor, poor gulls…" Dawn said in dispair.
RIP!
Mike was doing a rather good job avoiding seagulls…until one crazed his body with the bird's beak ripping off his shirt. "Oh no!" Mike let out before letting out a loud gasp. Suddenly Mike's hair was slicked back as he began looking around in confusion…and proceeded to speak up in a Jersey accent. "Ay-yo! Why's it so cold in here? The Vito's no fan of the cold ya know!"
Everyone immediately began giving Mike, or rather Vito, odd looks. "Um, Mike?" Lincoln blinked a few times as he looked up at his teammate. "Are you ok?"
"Ah didn't you just hear me?" Vito told Lincoln as he pointed at the white haired boy. "Names Vito Snow White and dontcha forget it,"
"Vito?" Lindsay asked, holding an ice pack to her head. "I thought his name was Tike."
"Um, this is just one of his characters!" Trent, seeing another one of Mike's personalities, quickly covered for his friend. "He's a method actor remember. This is just another one of his characters."
CONFESSIOANL – Trent
"Mike told me he had five personalities," Trent held up all five fingers before lowering three of them down. "So far we've seen two, Chester and now Vito. And looks like Vito came out when Mike lost his shirt, gotta remember that."
"Characters?" Vito repeated before grinning as he saw all the girls in their swimsuits. "Hey! This ain't a bad view!"
"Excuse me?!" Heather yelled out as she and all the other girls gave Vito weirded out looks or glares.
"Vito!" Dawn, one of the only not offended females, yelled out to the jersey boy. "Focus on staying on the board!"
"What board?" Vito repeated before looking down. "Oh that board!"
"Fire in the hole!" Lily yelled out before firing off more seagulls.
"Woah!" Vito yelled out before showing some rather impressive moves. While Mike was doing ok on the board, Vito was showing some rather keen expertise as he easily balanced on the board while avoiding the gulls. "Ha! Gotta do more than that to take down this tanned bod!"
Vito then flexed his muscles to show off a little bit as Lily narrowed her eyes at him. "He's right young Padawan" Chris stated as he loaded up the gull cannon again before taking Lily's spot. "Let me show ya how the master does it!" Chris then started firing at Vito and he found himself trying harder to dodge them as Chris had better accuracy, proven when he successfully nailed Vito in the head and knocked him off the board. "Boom! Headshot! Impressive time though bro, 4 minute and 23 seconds. That'll be tough to beat,"
"Hey that's just how I do it bro," Vito grinned as he got outta the pool and was offered a few high fives by the guys that he happily returned. "Ain't no one beating the Vito here,"
"We'll have to see about that," Chris began before everyone watched the sharks re-enter the water once their break was over. "Heather, you're up."
"Hmph, let me show you how it's done," Heather confidently stated as she got on the board. "Since the sharks are back you won't have to use the gull cannon right?"
"You'd think that," Chris grinned…before reloading the cannon and making Heather's eyes widen in worry. "Let's kick it up a notch!"
"Oh no…" Heather yelped out as the board started and immediately Chris began firing at Heather with the sharks circling her. Heather didn't last long as a few well placed gulls knocked her into the water with the sharks quickly chasing her. "29 seconds, back to the sad times. Your up moon child,"
"Of course," Dawn nodded as she got on the board and looked down at the sharks. "Excuse me sharks, but could you not try and bite me when I fall in please?" The sharks emerged their heads from the water, but surprisingly shook their hands. "Oh…it's in your contracts…"
"Got you moonchild, no ruining animal challenges this time," Chris grinned before starting up the board and firing at Dawn. Dawn's eyes widened as she tried to avoid the gulls and thankfully Chris' aim seemed oddly off for this one as the birds all only seemed to barely graze her at best. Sadly she wasn't the best surfer leading her to fall off the board with Dawn quickly grabbing the edge of the pool and using it to fling herself away before the sharks could try to bite her. "Oh come on! Not even one nibble? Ugh, one minute 13 seconds."
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Tch, what I wouldn't give…" Ronnie Anne angrily grumbled at the missed opportunity for that hippy to be shark bait.
"I'm up!" Justin grinned as he stepped up to the board, his flawless body on full display causing nearly all the females and even the sharks to begin swooning over him.
"So…perfect," Chris said with shining eyes as he wiped a tear. "Almost makes me believe in the inherent goodness of the human spirit…almost~" Chris grinned as he loaded up the cannon.
Justin was shot down immediately leading him to fall into the pool. Luckily the sharks were there to rescue him and perform CPR.
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"In their contracts huh…" Dawn said dryly.
"Mad surfing skills activate!" Harold let out after he got on the board…only for Chris again to activate the Kansas background with Chef turning on the fan. And like Lindsay Harold was immediately splattered onto the green screen. "Gosh!"
COFFESIONAL – Harold
"Chris totally robbed me," Harold complained with crossed arms. "If that fan hadn't turned on I guarantee I could've cleared ten minutes easily!"
"Hmph, this'll be easy," Ronnie Anne grinned as she got onto the board, taking a confident stance. "I skateboard all the time, I'm practically in my element,"
"Um, surfboarding and skateboarding are very different," Bridgette pointed out. It always made her upset when people tried to compare the two, they were fundamentally different and one didn't exactly translate well to the other. "Staying on a surfboard is a lot harder than staying on a skateboard."
"I don't recall asking you for advice surfer girl." Ronnie Anne told Bridgette rudely, making the blond roll her eyes and step back. "Bring it on Chris!" Chris grinned madly before pulling a switch and again the board started vibrating. Ronnie Anne's eyes widened as she tried to keep her balance, but combined with the seagulls being blasted at her and the rapid movements of the board she didn't even last a minute and was forced to retreat in fear of the sharks.
"You were saying~?" Bridgette asked with a satisfied smirk as Ronnie Anne glared at the surfer girl.
As Trent was about to step up to the board, Gwen couldn't help but notice something on her boyfriend's wrist. "Hey Trent" The goth spoke up, pointing to the bracelet Trent had on that had the number nine on it. "What's up with that? Don't think I've seen that before."
"Oh, yeah, this is my good luck charm. Nine's my lucky number," Trent explained to his girlfriend as he held up his wrist. "Figured after last season I could use a bit more luck."
"Well hey, with how crazy this show is we need all the luck we can get," Gwen stated before giving Trent a kiss on the cheek. "Do your best babe,"
"Will do," Trent grinned before stepping up to the pool, knocking on the wood a bit before climbing up getting weird looks from a few of the others. "…Sorry, habit."
CONFESSIONAL – Trent
"When I was a kid my grandpa gave me a toy train before he died, there were ten wheels but one broke off and it really messed me up." Trent explained the story of his lucky number as he held up his bracelet. "So to cheer me up my mom said nine was my lucky number. I know she just said that to try and make me feel better but it kinda stuck with me. Granddad, this is for you,"
Trent proved to actually be rather good on the board, actually avoiding the seagulls with surprising grace until he ended up slipping on some water that was on the board. "2 minutes 30 seconds, not bad Trent," Chris complimented as Trent left the pool before the sharks could get him. "Not as good as Vito but the Gaffers still seem to have the best surfers on their team. Duncan, you're up,"
"Let's do this." Duncan cracked his knuckles as he got on the board. Unsurprisingly, Duncan's toughness proved to help him out with the challenge as he planted his feet firmly on the board and easily dodged the seagulls, even punching a few out of the air. Eventually Chris was forced to up his game as he made the surfboard vibrate again, even having Chef turn on that fan. All that combined managed to finally knock Duncan off with the delinquent nailing one of the sharks in the noses before it could try and bite him. "Yeah tell your other fishy friends not to mess with me!"
"Duncan my man, gnarly moves out there!" Chris complimented as Duncan exited the pool. "4 minutes and 30 seconds, we have a new leader! Lincoln, Bridgette, you got a lot to beat. Snowball, time to step up."
"Just remember what I taught you," Bridgette told Lincoln as she put a supportive hand on his shoulder. "Don't fight against the board, go with the flow and only make adjustments in your movements when necessary…mostly to avoid the seagulls."
"Hey how can I fail," Lincoln grinned as he stepped up. "I had a great teacher,"
Once Lincoln was on the board, he remembered all the lessons Bridgette taught him while they were on the island he held his arms out and planted his feet firmly. Chris started up and Lincoln began riding the wildly moving board. He only made slight movements to dodge the incoming projectiles so as to not throw his balance off too much. Similar to Duncan, Lincoln was proving to be good enough that Chris had to start upping things up and when he brought up the big guns Lincoln was finally knocked off. "Ugh, that stupid fan…" Lincoln let out as he jumped out of the pool before he could become shark food. "How'd I do Chris?"
"Not bad snowball, you just barely managed to beat Duncan out!" Chris revealed making Lincoln grin. "4 minutes and 40 seconds."
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Are you serious?!" Ronnie Anne shouted in complete disbelief at Lincoln actually succeeding in something sporty. "Lincoln's a complete wimp! How'd he do better than me at a surfing competition?! He'd always pansy out when I tried to get him into skateboarding!"
"Awesome job there Lincoln!" Bridgette complimented Lincoln as she pulled her friend in for a hug.
"Geoff, it's all up to you," Chris spoke up as the party boy stepped up to the surf board. "Four minutes and 40 seconds is the time to beat, and if you do ya gotta hope Bridgette can't beat it."
"Bring it dude!" Geoff grinned as he adjusted his hat. Luckily he was the best surfer the Grips had to offer as he easily avoided everything Chris sent his way, dodging gulls and even Lindsay when Chris threw her after running out of ammo. Even when Chris turned things up a notch like with Duncan and Lincoln Geoff stayed firmly on his board. "Woooooo!!! This is awesome dude!!!"
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"Been riding the waves ever since I was a little tyke!" Geoff couldn't help but brag a bit about his surfing abilities. One of the things about himself he took great pride in. "The bigger the badder the better! I remember one time I held onto the board by my teeth! Hahaha, my dentist was so t'oed bro."
"Geoff beats Lincoln's time!" Chris announced as Ronnie Anne gave her ex a smug smirk. "And he's still hanging ten!"
"Surf on forever brother!" Geoff grinned before looking down and seeing Bridgette watching. Grinning a bit, Geoff got an idea to give his girl something to really watch. "Yo Bridge check this out!" Geoff then jumped up and proceeded to stand on the board on his hands…unfortunately this proved to be his undoing as Geoff quickly started slipping. "Woah! Woah! Woah!"
And everyone watched as Geoff fell into the water with a splash. "Ooooo, might have spoken too soon," Chris stated as he pressed the button on his stopwatch. "Still an impressive 4 minutes and 47 seconds, Bridgette that's your time to beat!"
"What the hell was that?!" Ronnie Anne scolded Geoff as he walked back to his team after getting out of the water. "You could have gone even longer!"
"Sorry dude, just wanted to show off to my girlfriend a bit," Geoff explained himself only for Ronnie Anne and a few of his teammates to glare at him. "I couldn't help it…"
"You got this Bridgette!" Lincoln cheered on Bridgette followed by the other members of his team. "We know you can do this!"
"Oh trust me, I know I can~" Bridgette smirked confidentially before taking position. Chris immediately started up and Bridgette showed to have the same level of skill as Geoff, if not even more. Bridgette was the picture of grace as the board did everything it could to throw her off. Chris reloaded the gull cannon but none of them even grazed her with Chris resulting to throwing random junk at her but she also avoided all of those. "Hah! That the best you can do Chris?"
"She's got a point." Chris aimed a look at Chef as he gestured to the surfing girl. "Come on man do something!" Chef glared at Chris before reaching out to him.
"WOAH!" Bridgette let out as the buff cook chucked the host at her, Chris screaming before face planting on the green screen. "Really?" Bridgette sent Chef a raised brow with him simply shrugging.
"Oooowww…" Chris groaned as he got up and rubbed his head before looking at his timer. "Ok…enough, Bridgette wins. She's at five minutes now."
CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette
"Surfings been in my family for generations," Bridgette explained her connection to the art of surfing. "My family basically lives on the beach, heck my grandpa proposed to my grandma on the beach, and then my mom proposed to my dad on the beach, and I'm hoping I can do the same one day in the future.
Bridgette rose her head up proudly before the board stopped. As the Gaffer's cheered for their victory, Ronnie Anne glared harder at Geoff. "Your show boating cost us the challenge," Ronnie Anne stated, making Geoff gulp. "If we lose the next one, you are so out of here!"
"Oooooo, I'm sensing some tension!" Chris grinned after recovering from being thrown as he looked to the camera. "Will the Killer Grips make up for their loss? Stay tuned and find out!"
After a set of commercials, all the teens were now standing at the front gate of the film lot now back in their normal clothes. "Welcome back to Total Drama Action!" Chris grinned at the cameras as some of the competitors continued shivering, still feeling the cold from earlier. "Where against all advice to the contrary, the players have changed out of their bathing suits. Hope you like swimming in your jeans."
"Riiiight," Heather rolled her eyes "Because we're totally going to the beach now."
Toot! Toot!
Everyone heard the tooting of a boat horn as a large boat pulled out to the dock in front of the film lot. "You were saying?" Chris smirked.
CONFESSIONAL – Owen
"Did Chris actually tell us the truth for once?!" Owen yelled in disbelief. "What's next? Being treated with actual respect?"
"…" Mr. Coconut let out.
"Yeah I know but it's a nice thought," Owen shrugged.
After a quick boat ride, the teams soon found themselves on a very familiar beach on a very familiar island. "Old contestants welcome back, and new contestants welcome to your first time on Total. Drama. Island!" Chris revealed they were back on the place where the first season took place where the first 24 campers competed for the $100,000 dollar grand prize. "I'm sure all you need some time to reminisce about all the good times we've had here,"
"…Pffft, hahahahah!" All the teens that were part of the original season laughed with Ronnie Anne, Mike, and Jasmine merely standing out like sore thumbs.
"…Fine," Chris frowned before rolling his eyes. "We'll skip the good memories montage,"
"Well hey," Lincoln spoke up before wrapping an arm around Dawn. "It wasn't all bad~"
"I'll say~" Dawn grinned before kissing Lincoln on the lips.
"Ack!" Ronnie Anne fake gagged.
"Screaming Gaffers, you got a 30 minute head start on…the sand castle building contest! To be judged by our resident king of the dunes!" Chris revealed the second part of the challenge as he gestured to the two sandboxes that were set up on both sides of the beach with Chef putting on a sand castle crown as Chris gestured to him. "Make like prop masters guys and make it good, don't want the tie breaker to go down. Don't think legals quite approved it yet."
Chris gestured a thumb over to three logs that were set up above a dummy with a boulder hanging above it. The boulder then fell on the dummy, then the logs crashed on top of it, then a car came down and crashed on it.
Not wanting the tie breaker to go down, the Gaffers quickly got to work with Lincoln setting up two teams. The builders, and the sand gathers. The builders consisted of Harold, Bridgette, Dawn, Lincoln, and Mike who now had a shirt back on. The sand gathers were DJ, Leshawa, Gwen, Trent, and Jasmine.
Harold took lead in the building as the sand gathers presented their buckets to Harold before he decided to use it. "DJ, wetter sand in this bucket." Harold told DJ who went off to get more water in the bucket as Leshawna stepped up next. "Leshawna, pack it firmer!"
"Who died and made you bossy mcpushy?" Leshawna asked as she sent Harold a harsh glare.
"He did," Harold explained as he pointed a thumb at Lincoln. "And I'm a bit of a Gary buff." Leshawna only rose a brow in response. "Frank Gary. Greatest architect of our time."
"And I care about this because?" Leshawna rolled her eyes before Harold presented the castle they built, a large temple of sand that was very expertly made. "Woah…"
"I call it, the Taj MaHarold." Harold grinned at his masterpiece. Harold then looked beyond his castle and saw Dawn was being swarmed by seagulls. "Um, Dawn? You ok?"
"Don't worry, I'm fine." Dawn smiled as she gulls all landed on her, some even showing some affection as they nuzzled her. "Hehehe, they're just happy to see me again, and are thankful for me and Lincoln helping clean up the beach while we were here last season."
"Looking good babe," Lincoln sent her a thumbs up before looking over the Taj MaHarold. "Now let's decorate this thing!"
THIRTY MINUTES LATER
"Hmmm, hmmmm…" Lily hummed as she sat with Edward at the end of the beach, the Platypus was buried in the sand with only his head exposed as Lily was forming the sand into a mermaid body. "Look! I made a platymaid!"
"Brbrbr!" Edward let out.
"Our ratings are gonna skyrocket~" Chris grinned before looking at his watch. "Grips! The Gaffer's half hour lead is over! Sand Castle like your lives depend on it!"
"Water! We need water!" Owen yelled out as a few of the Grips began packing sand.
"I'll hit the mountain stream!" Lindsay said, leading to many facepalms.
"Or we could use the lake Lindsiot!" Heather told the blond getting a glare from her as Owen ran by screaming.
"ENOUGH!" Ronnie Anne yelled as she stomped up to everyone. "Listen, I refuse to lose to Lame-O's team again, so we need something to beat them! Who has a plan?"
"…" Everyone was silent as they brainstormed ideas but Owen rose up Mr. Coconut.
"Oh! Good idea Mr. Coconut!" Owen smiled before addressing the rest of the team. "Mr. Coconut says we should build a sand castle beach house!"
"Ooooo great idea Mr. Coconut!" Lindsay clapped at the idea of that.
"You can't be serious…" Tyler groaned.
"Hey that's not a bad idea." Geoff grinned as he approved of the coconut's idea. "The little fruity dude's onto something."
"Are we doing this?" Justin asked Ronnie Anne.
"Got a better idea?" Ronnie Anne asked the model who rolled his eyes. "Then everyone shut up and get to work!"
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"I knew we weren't gonna win this, even if our castle was good the other team had a head start and as much as it pisses me off to admit this they actually had good sand castle building skills," Ronnie Anne stuck out her tongue in disgust after giving the compliment before giving a cruel grin. "Which is why to win this I had to get a bit…creative~"
Time was running low for the Grips. They managed to build up their beach house made of sand and it was decent, but there was no comparison to the grandness that was the Taj MaHarold that the Gaffers were now doing some last minute touches on. "Come on dudes hurry it up!" Geoff said urgently as he packed the sand. "We don't have much time left!"
"That's what I'm counting on," Ronnie Anne grinned as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a hair tie. Stretching it out with her fingers, Ronnie Anne aimed it at the Gaffers. Specifically the one member that would definitely take the large tumble, you know what they say the bigger they are the harder they fall. "Watch out beanpole."
"Hey mates," Jasmine said as she held up a bucket full of sand. "Got some extra sand for-
ZING!
"GAH!" Jasmine let out as something hit her right in the eye, hard. Jasmine yelled out in pain as she dropped the bucket before stumbling forward clenching it. "My eye! I can't open it!"
Unfortunately for everyone, Jasmine was heading right for the Taj MaHarold. "Jasmine! Look out!" All the Gaffers yelled out, but could only watch as Jasmine tripped and fell onto the Taj MaHarold, bringing it down.
"NOOOOO!" Harold cried out.
"And we have a winner!" Chris announced as Chef gave the Gaffers a thumbs down. "The Killer Grips and their casta-des-Beach House!"
"I saw that you know," Heather stated as she walked up to Ronnie Anne with a smirk. "Not bad~"
"You ok Jasmine?" DJ asked as he helped the Amazon to her feet, Jasmine still clenching her eye. "What happened?"
"I don't know…" Jasmine said with shame and guilt. It was her fault that they lost the challenge, something told her she might be prime for elimination if they lose the tie breaker. "Something just hit me in the eye, must have been a bug…"
"It wasn't." Dawn stated as she reached into the sand and pulled out a hair tie, the nature lover gritting her teeth a bit. "There was foul play at hand!"
"You!" Lincoln yelled at a smug looking Ronnie Anne. "You cheated!"
"No idea what you're talking about Lame-O~" Ronnie Anne's voice dripped of smugness and it pissed Lincoln off to no end. "Not my fault bean pole there had two left feet~"
Everyone from the Gaffers glared at Ronnie Anne, especially Jasmine, before Chris spoke up. "Ok campers, looks like we got a tie breaker on our hands." Chris announced as he clapped his hands. "So why don't we all go head to the mess hall for some dinner before the most epic tiebreaking bonfire tonight!"
"Good luck~" Ronnie Anne waved the Gaffers off before walking away.
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"If I ever get my hands on that conniving little weasel…" Jasmine growled out before bringing up a metal pole she got and effortlessly bending it…multiple times. "I think ya get the picture."
THAT NIGHT
Night had fallen on Camp Wawanakwa and both teams had met up on the beach again where a big bonfire was set up along with some tikki torches. "Alright campers, it is time for the tie breaking challenge!" Chris announced dramatically before explaining what the challenge itself was. "A watusi twist, mashed potato, dorky, old school dance contest! Each team chooses one person to dance for them where the dancers will be judged by our table of judges!"
Chris then gestured to a judging table where Lily and Chef sat with Chris also joining them. "Oh! You all gotta choose me!" Leshawna immediately stepped up for the Gaffers. "My nickname back home, Leshakinit!"
"If you got the dance Leshawna then dance your heart out." Lincoln nodded as Leshawna pumped up her fist.
"So, who's gonna do it?" Ronnie Anne asked as she faced her team. "I got some dance experience but anyone else wanna step up?"
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"I'm in pretty hot water with my team for botching the first challenge," Geoff rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly before putting on a determined look. "But this is something I know I can do! I gotta get back on everyone's goodside!"
"I'll do it!" Geoff offered but everyone looked unsure about him doing it. "Look I know I screwed up earlier but I throw and go to beach parties all the time! I know I can do this dudes! Ya gotta trust me!"
"Hmmmm, fine," Ronnie Anne allowed making Geoff grin, but Ronnie Anne's next look made him flinch. "But if you lose this, you are so going home!"
"…" Geoff gulped before stepping up to the sandy dance floor.
"Ok Grips, you won the sand castle contest so you go first!" Chris said before pulling out a boom box and turning it on, playing some old fashioned tunes. "Geoff, show us what you're made of!"
"You got it dude!" Geoff grinned before starting off with some fancy footwork. Geoff started small first, but when he got into the rhythm of the music he started making wilder movements as he really started to groove. Moonwalking before jumping down and pushing himself up with his arms and using his moment to spin around, going into a breakdance. The Grips all began to clap and cheer Geoff on as he hopped onto his back and began spinning before ending and striking a pose. "Booyah!
"Woohoo!" Owen cheered as he and the rest of the Grips clapped, even the Gaffers couldn't help but be impressed. Especially Bridgette.
"Not bad Geoff!" Chris said before holding up a score card that had an 8 on it. Both Chef and Lily held up nines earning Geoff a pretty high score overall. "26! Leshawna, that'll be tough to beat."
"Hah! Says you, watch and learn fools," Geoff backed up with Leshawna stepping up. "Get ready to see what some real moves look like!" Chris rewinded the tap and started up the music again with Leshawna beginning to dance…and what a dance it was. Her movements were wild, didn't go with the rhythm, and were way too bombastic. Everyone on both sides watched with stunned looks, unable to take their eyes off it no matter how much they wanted to. All except Harold who smiled and danced along, and Dawn who had a neutral face.
CONFESSIONAL – DJ
"I think I know Leshawna's real nickname back home," Despite the mean nature of this, DJ couldn't help himself with this. "Lebomba"
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"Prima balleriNO!" Heather yelled out.
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"I've seen rapid dingo's dance better than that!" Jasmine ran a hand through her face.
CONFESSIONAL – Duncan
"I'd say she has two left feet…but that'd be insulting to people with two left feet," Duncan grinned at his joke.
CONFESSIONAL – Lincoln
"Congrats Rusty," Lincoln groaned out. "You're no longer the worst dancer I know."
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"I don't usually like to diss people's dancing butt…" Geoff uncomfortably looked around.
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"AHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Contrary to how she was watching, Dawn was laughing her butt off "I'm-I'm sorry…I know this is rude but…AHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"Two words. Fun-ky!" Harold grinned as he danced along a bit only to receive judging looks from interns off screen. "What? I loved it!"
As Leshawna was dancing the music suddenly cut off. "Hey!" Leshawna complained at Chris cutting the music short. "I wasn't done!"
"Yeeeah…" The last thing Chris wanted was to see this go on. "I think we've seen enough." Chris and Chef held up one cards making Leshawna gasp. Lily help up a 2 but was given a disapproving look from Chris. "Lily, what'd we talk about pity points?"
"…Sorry Leshawna…" Lily apologized and held up a one.
"Well, we have our winners!" Chris announced as he pointed to the Grips. "The Killer Grips!"
All the Grips cheered for their victory, but none were more boastful than Ronnie Anne. "Yes! Hahahaha!" Ronnie Anne laughed before giving Lincoln and the Gaffers a mocking look. "Good luck at elimination tonight Lame-O!"
"Weeeeeell," Before any retorts could be made, Chris spoke up. "Nooooot exaaactly~"
"What?" Ronnie Anne blinked a few times. "What do you mean?"
"Well there's a little something we're adding to this season." Chris revealed, looking very amused with himself. "Tell me, who here remembers the Brunch of Disgustingness?"
"We try not to…" Dawn said as she and the others that participated in that challenge shivered at the thought of it.
"Well that challenge was all for reward and no elimination, and some challenges here will be the same!" Chris revealed, earning many widened eyes. "See originally we had 24 of you, but this season we're only down to 20 suckers. So to round up the episode count we'll be having challenges that are all for reward and no one gets eliminated. You just won't know when this happens."
"So you're just gonna mess with us all season making us question if challenges should be taken seriously or not?" Gwen asked, shooting Chris a glare.
"That's right Gwen!" Chris confirmed as Ronnie Anne found herself growing enraged again.
"Are you serious?!" Ronnie Anne yelled with a red face. Even when she finally won Lame-O still didn't lose?!
"Let me think about that…no!" Chris said right to her face. "Grips, for your reward you'll be getting one swanky beach party tonight! Gaffers, you're all safe. For now.
"Chill out dude," Geoff told the raging Latina as she growled heavily. "We still won, isn't that enough?"
"It's…NEVER…enough!" Ronnie Anne let out before shoving Geoff out of the way and stomping away, Justin and Heather face palming in response.
"…Hey, the sand castle making was kinda fun," Lincoln smiled a bit as he looked at his team. "Wanna make another one?"
"I'm down for that," Harold and the rest of his team soon perked up.
"I know some places where a lot of good fruit and berries grow." Dawn rose her hand up. "I could pick some for us,"
"Good idea," Jasmine snapped her fingers, her eye now feeling better. "I can gather us up some other grub!"
"If we get our own fire going I can cook us up something!" DJ added.
"The rest of us can gather fire wood," Trent grinned before the Gaffers went off, deciding to throw their own little beach party.
"And here's the ending of the most tubular episode of Total Drama Action!" The camera focused on Chris as he ended the episode. "The Gaffers still out number the Grips 10 to 9, and look to still be rising up after defeat! Will Ronnie Anne finally earn the respect of her teammates and actually be happy with a reward? Will Lincoln continue to widdle his Ex's numbers down. Will Mike reveal the truth to everyone else about his 'goofy characters?' Find out the answers to all these questions and more on the next episode of Total. Drama. Action!"
